    Came for our 10th anniversary because this is where we had our wedding reception. The butternut squash gnocchi was very flavorful, and we had the rockfish, the short rib and the lobster cavatappi and all of it was absolutely amazing. They brought us a happy anniversary themed truffle after the meal, and we each had creme brulee and the chocolate cake which were great. We had an unforgettable experience for our 10th anniversary here and we'll be back!

    The entire property is decorated so lovely but inside Becca is less festive. I wish that was not the case. The presentation is lacking. The tuna dish was creative but served on the wrong type of dish. Would love to see them use older style china to make it feel more upscale and match the time period of the hotel's beginning. So much room for improvement.

    Prime rib was superb and a great deal! Only criticism is that we sat in the sunroom dining area which was a bit chilly for a December night. Had a terrific evening otherwise. Beautifully decorated for the holidays, a festive atmosphere.

    We sat next to a dirty table the entire time we ate. Manager did clean it when I finally brought to her attention. But it was not cleared the entire time we ate our dinner. A bit disappointing for this level Of dining. Becca was Decorated beautifully for the holidays and our dinners tasted good.

    Another amazing time at Becca! Food was delicious - compliments to the Chef (we had the tomato caprese appetizer and filet mignon as our main dish…sooo good and so fresh!). Ambience and service was incredible! Our server, Shyanne, was outstanding! A+++ all around. We’ll be back again soon! :)

    We made reservations for a birthday celebratory brunch. The facility is decorated beautifully, but sadly, that is the only complimentary statement I can make. The hostess was so hateful to everyone who approached her. We waited 40 minutes with a reservation without any communication or apologies, despite half the restaurant being empty. Other waiting guests were equally put off. When we finally sat, it was evident that none of the service staff had been trained. They all walked around aimlessly, yet their service was beyond slow. The food was adequate, certainly nothing special. Such a shame for such a beautiful resort

    Excellent food and service. The staff are very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. The food comes out quickly and is delicious. We had a great dinner and breakfast here. Loved the hotel lobby decorations. Highly recommend, Becca is a great restaurant and so convenient when you're staying at the Cavalier!

    We made a reservation for lunch. To celebrate the season and enjoy all the Cavalier Hotel has to offer for the holidays. When we were seated the server informed us for the month of December they were only serving brunch. That information should have been available at the time we made the reservation. We both ordered the steak and eggs. Both steaks were gray. Mine was over cooked. Half of the items that were included on the description of the dish on the menu were missing. I sent my steak back and ordered the Cobb Salad. Again 3 of the items included in the salad were missing. The lettuce was in chunks and it was brown. I couldn’t eat it. My husband ordered Shrimp and grits and it had sausage in it that WASN’T part of the meal. The server never came back to check to see if the new meals were okay, Nor did a manager come to the table to check on us. We left hungry and very disappointed. Not the Holiday Experience you would expect from a 5 star resort.

    service was a bit slow than we were expecting, some food items were good (burger and fries) some were not at all (Belgium waffle). the Santa and decor were amazing. but we didn’t get the cookie decorating kit the ad talked about. will be back to give dinner a try bc that’s where we’ve heard the best reviews, but overall the best first impression we were expecting.

    This was our first time at Becca at the Cavalier Hotel. It was an outstanding experience, starting with the top notch Christmas decorations. Our waiter was fantastic, attentive, even though the restaurant was very busy. We had the Wednesday night prime rib special. It was great, although a lot of food! We definitely return to Becca.

    Prime rib night is a very good offering. Hope Becca can keep this going. Service was top notch. Beautiful room. Down side was Beef which was overcooked on all four orders in our group. Over by at least one full level on each serving.

    Given the elegance of the hotel I thought it would carry over to their main restaurant. It did not. I took my wife there for her birthday, which they were aware of, and we were seated at a small table just beyond the main dining area abutting up to the pitcher and cutlery storage.

    Our special luncheon was marred by lack of weight, staff, and attention to detail. The food was less than impressive, and the valet service was poor at best. it’s a wonderful old hotel and worth returning hoping they have up their game

    We booked a late brunch (2:45) in advance of the grand illumination. Restaurant called me at 2:40 to inquiry if we were going to keep our reservation I replied we were and the caller said they would begin to get a table ready for us, when I said we were in the Raleigh Room having a drink should we walk over in 10 minutes she replied yes but our kitchen closes promptly at 3 with no further explanation. We almost left but when we arrived at the desk we asked if the kitchen closes at 3 will we even have time to order?? We did have time to order and our waitress did not rush us but we and the party behind us were very put off and confused by the young woman calling to confirm our 2:45 reservation (the other party was also at 2:45) and telling us the kitchen would close at 3. Food was good as was the service but we did experience fruit flies buzzing around our table in the rear near the wine room.

    We waited for service from our waiter for a very, very long time. Think he was overwhelmed and could of used help. Not once did he come back and ask if we needed or wanted anything. The most he spoke to us was at leaving the bill time. We were expecting a different menu for the Grand Illumination lunch which was our fault. Disappointed with the corner view we were so looking forward to going. Disheartening.

    For the Becca the service was horrible. We actually spoke to a manager about the service. The waitress we had made us feel rushed and she would come to the table and take off before we got a chance to finish asking her a question. That WAS the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED THERE. I am a Yelp Elite and I write reviews all the time and I was not impressed with this visit at all. The food was what saved them, because the food was outstanding. Not to mention we were there for the Illumination and it was not done how it was done in previous years. So we missed the lighting ceremony. I asked someone who worked there and she said they lite them up without any announcement due to the weather and the amount of people. We came specifically for that had I known we would of not come on the day of the illumination, we would of come a different day. Highly disappointed this year with the way things were done , and the service. I don't think we will be back next year for the lighting seeing as how poor everything was this year. The manager listen to us when we voiced our concerns, but never came back to follow up. He assigned a different server for our dessert round.

    A disappointing evening and highly overrated. We’ve been to Becca many times, and I’ve loved our experience before but last night was different. The complementary bread puffs were burnt. Entrée choices were unappealing as were the appetizers. Although they tasted fine, portions were pretty skimpy. Service was fine but slow and they weren’t that busy.

    Service was absolutely perfect. The food did not justify the price. The table stand got in the way of my legs a lot and made me feel scrunched in. The base of the table stands take up most of your foot space, so you have to rest your feet on top of the base instead of flat on the floor. Valet is $5 plus tip, so no issue there, except I had to take an extra 5 mins at the end of dinner, to set up an account so i could pay for valet and leave a tip, while my party waited for me. Live music sounded great and a lot of people were dancing and enjoying the night, old and young. My Shrimp and Scallops were waaay over salted, to the point of ruining the entree. Ambiance was great. Not too loud to have a convo. Lighting was good. The menus are in the smallest font/lettering. I could barely make out what the choices were.

    Becca is old and it’s showing its age. Over all the food was good but my dish was way over salted. The service wasn’t very good our waiter kept disappearing for long periods of time. Overall Becca is overrated with a very small menu. The two people who attended me to dinner where both happy with their dishes though none of us thought highly about the crab mashed potatoes which were nothing more than stiff over warmed mashed potatoes with crab meat sparsely sprinkled across the top.

    Almost 45 min late seating us , Food was an absolute JOKE!! I wish I would have known that they were serving me a turkey roll or I would have gone somewhere else. Worst 200$ I've ever spent They had a preset menu I was to have the roasted leg quarter Apple cornbread stuffing, potatoes and broccoli -the only thing I got was this processed turkey roll mashed potatoes / broccoli - honestly looked like a can of cat food plopped on a plate. portion was just enough to put on top of a cracker ---- they ran out of appetizers so gave us bread rolls instead. Ran out of the NY strip that they were supposed to serve as part of their preset menu, gave us a 2oz tenderloin.. not to mention took over a hour to serve the dinner!!! HUGE disappointment Absolute crime to charge high-end prices and get HomeTown buffet quality

    One dish came out cold and missing an item. Their specialty popover bread was burnt. The waiter disappeared through 2 courses. I had to eat the bisque with a fork because the waiter never checked on us until desert time. He finally appeared and said desert will be out right away. He was unaware that he had not taken our desert order. Hello! So bad on every level. ): They graciously comp’d 50%, but I noticed that the bill indicated reason as “long wait.” I scratched it out and wrote poor service.

    This an absolutely beautiful venue and the service was wonderful. The manager also tried to make it right which was very much appreciated. But this was a fixed price special event for Thanksgiving and the food was lackluster to say the least. Becca ran out of some of the choices including dessert but didn’t inform us until it was quite late. They had an amuse bouche which was a little mushroom pastry that was cold with a few shreds of dried out cheese on it. The soup, salad or ravioli first course was what you would get for lunch at a chain restaurant. The Turkey was a roulade which could have been ok but was just pressed Turkey with a sad filling. No interesting or traditional side dishes, no cranberry sauce, the vegetables were undercooked (and I despise mushy) - I didn’t eat mine. I was lucky -they ran out of the steak selection, so I got a well prepared filet. The deserts were very dry. We each had a different choice and they were all dry and sad. We had to order ice cream to address the dryness. Overall - they need a new chef. Would this be what they would serve at a wedding? Geez.
