Visited Becca for first time to celebrate our 45th Wedding Anniversary. Experience was spectacular from our arrival with Valet Service to take our car through the meal and dessert. My wife and I both had the Tarnished Whiskey infused Filet-it is without question the best steak in this area-i will go no where else if I want a good steak. My congratulations to the Cavalier-they are delivering on their reputation as a quality, upscale detination.

Wait until the Pandemic is over to try. They are severely understaffed with actual wait staff. Hostess seated us quickly, Waitress attended to our wine and bread quickly. After 1 hour and fifteen minutes with no entree, we were done so we left without getting the food. I can not rate the food for that reason. I feel sorry for restaurants trying to ramp back up during this phase in. They can't afford to go full staff and it ends up presenting
itself in various phases of the dining experience

This was our second time visiting Becca. We originally visited when they first opened. Food is incredible!!! Service has improved, but they are still under staffed. We did not receive eating utensils until well after our first course was served. Thankfully our first courses were cold plates. The watermelon salad and filets were excellent as was the ravioli. Don’t leave without trying the house made bourbon ice cream— to die for! We will be back and hope that time and training will improve service level. Overall, Becca is a great eating establishment and a great addition to Virginia Beach restaurant scene!!

Chef is OUTSTANDING!

Our waitress, jasmine, provided phenomenal service..5 stars..thank you Jasmine. The food was awesome. We had an appetizer, soup, salad, and two entree. Too full to try dessert. My husband had s smoked scotch drink. Very nice outing.

The ambience was fantastic. Beautiful terrace with a view of the Atlantic. Food and service were just "so-so." Neither my diet-Coke nor my wife's water were ever refilled and the my "brisket" was just sliced beef with barbecue sauce. Great venue and I hope they get the rest of their act together.

My Wife and I booked lunch there to celebrate our 50th anniversary and of all the places we ate at in Virginia Beach we both liked Becca the best. The food was excellent, the service fantastic, and the outdoor patio was very nice. Any time we are in Virginia Beach Becca will be a must. Simply THE BEST!

Great food! You can tell the overall quality of the restaurant has improved with Chef Kyle Woodruff. I will definitely back with him there!

Best food in town! A real treat! It's our tradition to come here every year on our wedding anniversary.

The service is never great but we go back because of the atmosphere.

I was disappointed in the amount of time it took to check in for our reservations - granted I know we're dealing with COVID, the wait was quite long considering though. Once we were checked in, it took a while to get seated and the hostess wasn't sure where to seat us even after I confirmed our party was less than originally planned. Once seated, it took at least 10 minutes before a server greeted us. once our drink order was placed, it took at least another 10 to 15 minutes before they were brought out.... at about 8 minutes into waiting we were told they were finally being made. The manager was asking if we had been helped, so were other servers so it was obvious that we were not being checked on enough. Our server forgot to bring requested lemons twice for our waters. Overall, the food was delicious. But the service was not. I would recommend Becca but I would warn anyone else that the service left a lot to be desired, not impressed. And at those prices, you expect better.

We have been to Becca for dinner before and it was fabulous. Our server made our dining experience really great. We had brunch for Fathers Day and it was good but our server was not great.

The sea food platter was amazing. The lamb chops were to die for.

The Cavalier is a sight to behold. Becca is a beautiful restaurant on its own but you owe it to yourself to explore the indoor and outdoor bar, even venture over to the beach club across the street.

I might aim to order beef closer to rare than you’re used to as mine was a bit overcooked.

Vert good experience. Service started out well, then leveled off a bit, which was disappointing. Food was very good. Ambiance is very good.

We have been to Becca’s several times. This was by far the best prepared food and service we have experienced there. It was great to get out to a restaurant again since the pandemic began and be rewarded with such great lunch! We’ll be back!

Having arrived late at the Cavalier, we were fortunate to get a reservation. We started off with Wood Grilled Oysters. Okay. The simple green salad was very good. My wife had the Mahi Mahi and I had Scallops. In addition, we were served the Butterbean and Sweet Corn Succotash. The Accompaniment included potatoes, but were not in the description. Both, very good. The next night, we again ate at Becca. The special was Sea Bass, which my wife had. I had the Airline Chicken Breast. The sea bass was whole and, frankly, I've seen bigger filets. The chicken breast was very small. Before selecting the chicken, I asked for the Rack of Lamb, well done. Server suggested medium well. She returned and said the lamb was not available. The chicken was tasty, but too small. We again asked for the Butterbean and Sweet Corn Succotash, sans the potatoes. Never came. We were pleased and disappointed in our two nights at Becca. The hotel is really nice and beautifully decorated as were the grounds. We expect to return. On our way to the Cavalier Beach Club, we met Chef Kyle at one of the restaurants many herb gardens. I explained the Rack of Lamb situation. First, he said meat was in short supply, and second, the chef will prepare a meal anyway the customer wants it prepared. Hopefully, the next time we dine at Becca, I can get the lamb well done.

My fries were cold; My burger was quite pink inside and was supposed to be well done. But I was starving so I ate it as it was.

Great location for an amazing Sunday dinner, food was delicious.

Becca is an excellent restaurant in a beautiful setting. The food is always impeccable, and the wines are fantastic.

My favorite place to dine, whether solo or with a group. I visited on a Sunday afternoon to celebrate a birthday.

The Cavalier is spectacular! The food at Becca was very good. I personally enjoyed the salmon salad, the dressing was perfect! My daughter's steak while tender and cooked perfectly was under seasoned. The grits again were under seasoned.
Service was slow but understandable since they are under staffed secondary to COVID19. I would most assuredly return!

Always has been. All of their dining areas are. Needs improved! Food is always fantastic but need work on service!

The service was absolutely horrible. Ordered drinks, had to wait nearly an hour and that was after one of us went to the bar and inquired. Food was fine but at 7.30 you wouldn’t expect them to be out of one of their specials.

We waited 2 hours to get our salads, we had to ask for bread/something/anything while waiting for the salads. We didn't get our main course until 2 hours and 45 minutes after we sat down. We were never told what the issue was, I thought our waiter was attentive when he had something to do otherwise he was a non-entity. I understand reopening following COVID however there was no explanation or apology offered.

Service struggled due to 3 call outs that day, so it took a very long time to get lunch. But it was delicious as always!

Becca had recently reopened after the COVID-19 shut down. We were all seated outside , well distanced apart. The menu was shortened by the circumstances of the pandemic. The food was very good, fresh and well presented. The staff was appreciative of our patronage and their enthusiasim to be back at work was awsome! Definitely a great visit.

Experience was horrible was understaffed and seemed like management had no idea how to manage the restaurant. Waitstaff was great hid the kitchen failure. Half the menu was unavailable. Couldn’t even get a good drink or dessert. Had to wait 45 min for a turkey sandwich! Will not go again until they get their act together!!

Food was delicious, service friendly and professional and the ambiance was just lovely! We live in the area but felt like we were on vacation!

I think Becca is just getting back to having indoor diners. They seemed a little harried. We had an 8:15 reservation and were seated around 9:00. We left there about 10:30. Our waitress
was from another restaurant of the same owner but she struggled. The atmosphere almost made up for the service etc. We will however go again when they get more into the groove.

It was my wife's birthday so I took her for a late dinner I don't eat meat so I can't comment on the lamb though my wife who loves lamb said it was absolutely delicious and my crab cakes were the best I've ever had! We don't usually do dessert, but seeing as it was a special occasion super-rich but really good and I could only eat about half of it. All in all an absolutely fantastic evening, great ambience, great service & best of all great food! The final cost of the meal including drinks and tip was pretty expensive but very much in line with the quality and the overall great night out. My only complaint if I were to give one is that they knew it was my wife's birthday, and while our server expressed her birthday wishes, my wife's dessert wasn't even on the house, which I found a bit surprising..That being said, we will definitely be back!

Phenomenal! Worth every penny. One of the best venues in the Hampton Roads. Just go!

A disappointment. Typically a wonderful experience but this didn't impress. The bourbon infused watermelon salad lacked any bourbon flavor. When the server checked with the kitchen her response to us was "they said the bourbon is there". When we pointed out the dead fly in the butter? "You want more butter?" Seriously? There was no accommodation to the check. Entrees were great but we left unhappy.

Enjoyed the lunch! Oysters were prepared very nicely as was the pasta dish. Wine was good and espresso fine too.Thanks

I was very disappointed with the food. I ordered softshell craps, they were mediocre at best, they sat on a bed of stuff that was taste less, mostly corn, and came out cold. MY wife had Scallops that she said were good not great. The drinks were OK but expensive. Not a repeat for me.
The one good thing was the service was excellent our server was Matt.
