I enjoyed my alone time. The staff are very friendly from the moment you walk in.
Really a great place for a relaxed Sunday brunch. There was so many items I wanted to try so I will be back.
Love the atmosphere for me and my 4 year old. Great service.
The food was very good and everyone had large portions. We went in a little early before the lunch crowd which made it even better!
Definitely judged the place by their names at first lol. Such an amazing brunch spots with my gal friends. The complimentary valet parking for starter, the manager to the hostess is very warm and friendly. Our waitress was so fun and amazing for making our first time experience to wanting to come back with our loved ones. The foods is delicious!! Plus the cocktails isn’t so bad itself. Check it out if you’ve been wanting to check out new spots to try out.
Simple menu, but good good. A step above the larger chain sports bars.
Our plan was to have a drink or two in the bar area then move to a quieter dining room for dinner. The hostess wanted to keep us in the bar area for the whole time and didn’t want to give us that choice so we had to stay put. Otherwise, all was well.
I love this place. It's a BBQ joint but everything I have had there rocks.
Nice enjoyed the food
I had the chicken & waffles. Excellent. My husband had the shrimp & grits. He said that the grits were too cheesy. Good but too cheesy. The drinks were just okay. I'm not a drinker and I had 2 drinks. Not even the slightest hint of alcohol and thus the reason for taking off an entire star. Great atmosphere. Very cute place. I'll be glad to go again but I just won't waste my $$$ on cocktails.
Visited with my Mom this past Saturday for brunch.
I like that they have complimentary valet but there's really no other option. The hostess was nice, greeted us and asked where we preferred to sit.
The server came over within the first two minutes. She looked like she had been working hard. She let us know which items they were out of right then and there. I appreciated that.
She came back twice while we were making up our minds and gave recommendations for a starer. I ordered the chicken fried steak with potatoes and eggs scrambled medium. Mom ordered the Beaver Slam. We also ordered the fried okra to share as a starter.
15 minutes go by and no starter so the server offered a free queso and chips. Less than one minute later our fried okra comes out. 5 minutes later both of our entrees arrive and everything looks great although I immediately notice my eggs aren't medium. The table is packed with food. I'm still enjoying the queso and okra when my mom ask me to try my eggs. I try them and look at her. I try them again. She said " these must be liquid eggs" I said "these taste like powdered eggs.. what the heck". Something was added to the eggs IMO. I don't know what but they are thick. I try the potatos and they are very bland with lots of undercooked chunks.
The server comes over and we tell her. She agrees to get us both two fried eggs, french fries for my mom and cheese grits for me. My Mom was also surprised that she only received half a waffle and upon tasting it I was disappointed. It was like a really thick frozen eggo waffle. My chicken fried steak was good but a little bland.
She returns with 4 more plates. Now our table looks like a buffet lol. The fried eggs, french fries and grits were good. We left it at that and didn't mention the disappointment with the waffle. I really did appreciate the server insisting she communicate with the chef and the substitutions.
For the price they are charging I expected better. BBQ is apparently their specialty.
Food and service was great. The Host was awesome and very understanding when several members of my party didn't show up. Definitely going back!
Good - bland
Management (Jacob) - awful
This was a first and last visit for me.
Food was only fair
They have a massive parking lot but force you to valet park with their extremely slow valet service even at 12pm. Our food took 50 minutes to be brought out. The hostess was rude. The only saving grace was the food was edible and our server was kind.
I was surprised to see how nice the inside looked. The food was amazing and the employees were very nice and made sure we enjoyed the experience. Beavers west is my new favorite spot!
Nice treat for the family. Service was excellent and attentive.
First and foremost, the staff was very accommodating and helpful. Our server was David and he was extremely helpful in regards to providing suggestions and ensuring all of our requests were met. Unfortunately, the down side is that he was stretched thin and I believe the restaurant can provide assistance to their employees. Other than that I would definitely go back.
Hello This place was super awesome. The drinks were flowing, the vibe was amazing and the food was fantastic. I had the shrimp and grits that were absolutely cheesy, my friends had the beaver slam and we also ordered two rounds of french fries to complete our brunch. This place was the best.
Love the casual atmosphere and outdoor seating in view of kids’ play area. Food is good! Disappointed in the required valet. I thought for sure it was just an Easter thing, but had to so this last weekend. It’s odd to have to valet when there are dozens of available parking spots- especially with 3 little kids in tow. I asked if I could self park and was told no. I also didn’t have cash on me because I wasn’t expecting to need it...
Every dish was delicious! Had the Brisket Grilled Cheese...wow!
I loved it. I always past this place up and wondered what it was. Finally took a chance and came to check it out. Not only is it kid friendly but the food is delicious. We will definitely be coming back.
Good food, slightly pricey. Nice ambiance
Everything was wonderful
We loved the ambiance and decor. It is incredibly hip and chic. What made our experience less than what we were expecting was the lack of service. We had a reservation and it took almost 2 hours from the time we arrived until we finally left and we didn’t special order a thing!
Our waitress kept disappearing, the food took forever and the food was just subpar. Nothing to really write home about.
We are saddened by this experience and expected an amazing father’s day brunch and received something way less.
Overall... nice place, nice atmosphere, overpriced food for mediocre quality. We are a family of four. We ordered 2 lunch items and a small appetizer. My 6y/o son had a grilled cheese sandwich and 9 y/o daughter had chicken tenders. The tenders were overcooked and the waitress kindly removed them from the bill. The total came to $70.
The food was great - very large portions. Kids area but not much for them to do.
This is the second time our group of three have met there for lunch. It's the perfect halfway point for all of us. Our orders included the fish tacos, the patty melt and the large salad with fried chicken. We all loved our food and since this was a birthday celebration, we ordered the Beaver Balls for dessert and they were delicious.
We were excited about the fried chicken. It was a little disappointing because the chicken was crispy, well done but FLAVORLESS. maybe we had high expectations since we love Beavers.
I’ll be back but not for Fried Chicken.
Great Food. Awesome atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good stuff!
Awesome spot for kiddos and the parents, food is great and the staff is very patient, accommodating and kind.
This was a fun experience overall. Excellent food, fun atmosphere (we ate in the outdoors section), and our server was super accommodating and pleasant to chat with. We came here for a friend’s birthday, and he was impressed! We were looking for something different than our hangout spots, and we definitely found it. Also, the free valet parking was a plus! Only downside would be the higher prices. We spent $136 for 3 people (but we had a couple of cocktails as well as food).
Does not compare to original at all in service, food quality, or ambience.
The food was great especially the loaded baked potato but the food took long. Maybe because it was mother’s day but that was the only issue. The service was good and the outside was really nice. Would definitely go back again.
Great food, varied menu (something for everyone!), good service. Can get a bit loud (like almost every other Houston restaurant!). Nice casual place to celebrate Mother’s Day.
Mother’s Day. Poor service in seating. We were told there were no tables outside. Yet the 3 hours we sat there we saw tables empty the whole time!
Supposed to be free valet. But the valet just gave us the keys to go find our own cars!
Great service and good outdoor space for kids when the weather is nice.
The chicken fried steak was not worth the price and a little over cooked
Great place to go with friends and family. It is kid-friendly, so a good place to enjoy a nice day.
Great place had a bday for my wife. Food was tasty bathroom was clean. Drinks were cold!
