    Food was great. Decor and staff was amazing. Def a great brunch spot. A little too loud for my Liking. However the dj was great so we didn’t mind. 10/10 would be back.

    Beatstro is an ABSOLUTE MUST for a Saturday brunch. Once you past the curtain, you are ushered into HIP HOP happiness. Beautifully & tastefully decorated. The sweetest hostest ever greets and seats you. Elizabeth is the best waitress ever. The sangria and nutshell set the tone. I've had deviled eggs before but I swear these are THE BEST EVER!!! JOSEFINA is a fried ball filled with succulent pork and rice and beans. Delicious 😋 Shrimp and grits with an out of this world sauce. And the fried chicken? Wow!! My steak and eggs......with the chimichuura.....scrumptous!!! And I still had room for dessert....try the banana pudding and red velvet cheesecake. I enjoyed everything!!!!! And they played the greatest hits possible. Great time all around. Can't wait to return. Do yourself a favor and meet me at BEATSTRO.

    This place is a RIP OFF!!! The Menu is very deceptive, online Brunch MENU stated $25 per person which included Mimosa’s or Sangria When I arrived I ordered the Chicken & Waffles and my lady ordered The shrimp & Grits and we had Mimosa’s Chicken was over cooked, very tough, and my waffle was Cold, but I didn’t complain! My Bill came and it Read…… $122.00 WTF I noticed they charged us $50 for Mimosa’s I asked the waitress who by the way was very nice about this, and she said Mimosas was $50 and was not included in Brunch Never Again!!! And I’ll advise all my friends and anyone thinking about going, it’s a Rip Off

    My friend took me for my birthday dinner! 💜Drinks was popping! Delicious margaritas and happy hour before 8pm! I think they got a lil stronger after 8 🤔💜 I had the crispy fried catfish with shrimp fried rice DELICIOUS 💜 she had the lobster Mac & cheese, she was disappointed said “it was soupy” like they rushed and sweet 🤷🏽‍♀️ I wouldn’t know I don’t eat that ! The wings we had for appetizers was banging! Tasty with a nice crunch 😋 Had a great time catching up with my friend ! Will be going back! Didn’t get to take many pictures! And the music was great and loud yet we was still able to converse 💜

    This place is super cool! My husband and I went for Saturday brunch. Great ambience, beautiful decor, super friendly waitstaff. The food was remarkable. Actually surprised by how great it was. It is loud, with some of the best hip hop blasting through the speakers. I love that, but if you're not a fan of loud music, just keep that in mind. Looking forward to going again--next time for dinner. Great spot overall!

    Beatstro is always a vibe! However, this day was something special, because they had the block closed off to celebrate Ted Smooth’s 50 Years of Hip Hop Block Party!

    This was my first visit to Beatstro, and came for brunch. Overall i’d say 3.5 out of 5. We had kale salad and macaroni for starters, and the burger and chicken and waffles for entrees. The food was tasty and portion sizes were more than enough. Probably my favorite thing were the fries with the burger. They were seasoned and cooked well. Our server was pleasant but with the loud music at 1:30pm it was near impossible to hear her. And although we were seated at a booth near the kitchen it took at least 40+ minutes to get our entree so definitely a bit too long. Especially when a couple seated and ordered after us sat and ate their meal before we even received ours. I would be willing to come again as the food and ambiance were decent.

    Hidden Gem. Sunday afternoon brunch with a dear friend. Food was good, drinks flowing. Music was AMAZING!!! If you enjoy hip-hop and classics then This is the place to GO!!!

    Here are pros & cons: Went for brunch on Saturday Pros: Food is delicious & service was great Cons: place opened up 20 minutes late - no one came out to let us inside or apologize for the tardiness - in spite of there being a group of 8 people waiting outside their door (for 11:30am brunch). Unlimited brunch cocktails is a joke - it’s nothing but juice - I tried the mimosa and it was only juice, so I asked for the sangria, it was the same thing. I would return for the food and ambiance but rather purchase an actual drink instead of paying $25 for juice.

    The place is very nice, I went on a Saturday night with my husband at 11pm and it wasn’t pack the music was very loud for the place not being packed which made it difficult for the staff to hear us and vice versas. We order three different appetizers; mofonguitos, coconut shrimp and chicharrón de pollo. The coconut shrimp tasted the best out of all three. The mofonguitos tasted like it had too much tomato sauce and the chicharrón de pollo was not boneless despite us ordering boneless twice, both times we got the chicken it had bones. For the entree we ordered the lobster Mac n cheese which had good flavor but did not have a lot of lobster. We order three drinks; w finding nemo and the Virgo. All the drinks were very strong, the taste of alcohol was over powering. Over all it was not a bad experience just had some minor discrepancies.

    Beatstro is always a fun spot. My husband and I met up with another couple to catch up and just chill. Just know that is very loud inside the restaurant, which we already knew so we were good. Drinks were strong and I always enjoy the food and music.

    We had such a good time on Father's Day. The food was very affordable and tasty. I overheard the waitress say that she was the only waitress for the entire restaurant, so I was prepared to wait very long but that was not the case at all. Also, she had an amazing personality and smile through it all. Hubby ordered the rack of ribs and was overwhelmed by the portion. He left happy. The decor and ambiance are great. Nice lil hip hop restaurant.

    I brought my honey for a Father's day brunch. He loved it! The ambiance and music was right up our alley. Overall, I'll give the food and drinks an 8 out of 10. We'll definitely be going back!

    My boyfriend and I came here for brunch on Fathers day. The venue itself is very cool with a nice ambience. We had a reservation and they sat us right near the DJ. SO loud, we could not talk. We ate in silence. Kind of lame for date night. The booths looked great, but all the tables for two were tall, wobbly tables with tall bar chairs. Not very comfortable. The food was mediocre for the price. We could have got the same thing at a diner in the neighborhood for a third of the cost. You are paying for the venue. Not much in the way of vegetarian options, and if youre vegan, forget it. If you come here for brunch and do the 90 minute unlimited sangria or mimosa to listen to music and chill with your people, then thats probably fun. But if youre coming here just to eat on a regular day, maybe skip it.

    Great atmosphere, service was SLOW but the vibe was good. The good music kept us distracted from the fact that our food arrived extremely slow. We had brunch, there was 3 of us and the bill was $194 ($27) gratuity for the poor service was automatically added lol. Music was great the DJ was awesome.

    Booked for a table of 15 for my daughter’s 21st birthday! Talia and the rest of the Staff was amazing and as always the Ted smooth had the tunes on point! Everyone in my group had so much fun and everyone wants to come back!

    If you haven’t been to Beatstro, you’re missing out on something truly amazing! The food is always flavorful, plentiful, and served beautifully. Service is always customer-centered, keeping an eye on what’s needed before it’s even asked for and patient when being asked 1,001 requests. The ambiance is beyond compare. The hip-hop spun always matches the mood and gets customers hyped for not only the drinks on deck but the memorable experience they will have by the end of their visit.     I came from the UK for a family reunion and wanted an authentic hip hop restaurant experience. I booked 3 months in advance. I also confirmed my reservation 2 days before the booking..I was staying in Hell’s Kitchen and took a taxi .When I got to the restaurant at 7pm it looked closed on the outside and with the curtains drawn . I looked closely and saw a light and I went inside… as soon as I got in I was told the kitchen was closing at 7.30 and the restaurant closing at 8pm. I said I had a reservation but they didn’t ask my name and put me and my cousin on high table … I have mobility problems and cannot sit on a high chair and there was low table and chairs at the back of the restaurant which was available… they said a private party was there but there were also other diners separate plus 2 spare tables not with the party .I asked to sit there because I had problems and they told me no and kept saying they were closing … when I said that showed 9pm closing from the instagram page and different time on website… they told me that they have been quiet since 11am and now started to get busy after 6pm . It just seems like they could not be bothered to cater to their guests because they wanted to go home early… I was rushed to order and when I asked to add something else to the order- they were annoyed and said I had to make sure I have ordered everything as kitchen was closed - this was 7.30pm …the people in there seemed to be friends and they were not being rushed . I asked for the bill at 7.50pm as I was so uncomfortable and shocked by this poor service… I paid the $118 bill with cash… then the waitress shouted out if we NEEDED the change! Trying to embarrass me to say no .. i had already paid gratuity which i should have taken off... as leaving we saw a huge rat coming from the outside street of the restuarant . for 50 minutes i paid$85 round trip taxi and $120 food bill ... i would never waste my money or time on such poor service

    Me and my 2 besties came here for Saturday brunch; we had reservations and were seated immediately. Our server came over as soon as we were seated and was great the entire time. Food was delicious, vibe was good. The music was more hip-hop than R&B but we still enjoyed it. Would go back.
