   I am a regular at Beatrix and ordered the Avocado toast, which I ordered on several occasion because I love the bread that it us served with. When I ordered this yesterday, it was served on 2 regular wheat bread slices with very little Avocado. Basically, I could have made this at home. When I asked the server, she replied that they ran out of the normL bread and thus is a substitute. She should have told me that when I ordered it and I would have ordered something else. She did offer another item, but the rest of my party already had their food and I was in a rush. I will not recommend this place.

   The Caesar salad was so overdressed, that I could only eat half of it. I told the server, and he replied., “No worries”! My husband had the fried chicken sandwich. It was OK but not worth the price. Disappointing experience at a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant.

   Perfect for our post-graduation brunch, exactly what we wanted. It was comfortably casual, reasonably quiet for conversation, and Mario's great service made it feel upscale. Our brunch included the prime steak & eggs, egg white omelet, breakfast tacos - all very good. Following our brunch, we sat in the corner cafe soft seating area and had a drink and more celebration. Well suited and met or exceeded all of our expectations. We were fortunate to find our own parking just outside of Beatrix, but self-parking could be a challenge; valet parking is available. Definitely will keep Beatrix in mind for future visits.

    Excellent service (always). Great value. Hard to find a close parking spot at the Oak Brook location because the valet parking service reserves rows of parking spots but then is not available at 11:30am and not visible during lunch. However this is more a mall problem not restaurant problem. Very grateful server asked about food allergies.

    It was not too busy but the service was slow. The ambiance was nice. The appetizers were very good. We had the flatbread and shrimp ceviche. My main dish was so so. It was over seasoned with salt and pepper. I had the skirt steak.

    Our group of 3 enjoyed our lunch on a beautiful sunny Sunday. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. Our server was attentive, allowed us time for conversation before placing our order. Our food was appropriately warm and attractively served. All in all a very enjoyable meal. I'd highly recommend Beatrix in Oak Brook.

    Beautiful restaurant but lacking in service. Sat at the bar for dinner and were the only ones there at the time. Got drinks quickly and ordered an appetizers. Took longer than expected and fries were kind of soggy and lukewarm. We were not checked in after ordering apps and after finishing appetizers and drinks, we realized we hadn’t even ordered our entrees. We ended up closing out our check and dining elsewhere.

    Scrambled eggs & bacon - AMAZING - Lemon Blueberry Pancakes either had a strange texture or it wasn't cooked quite enough. Flavors were good though. French Toast - I'm not sure if it was because we ordered these at the same time, but my french toast had a lemon flavor to it, that I did not want. It was also very blonde. The coffee and the pastries in the case are AMAZING though, and the service was great.

    We have always enjoyed our breakfasts here but yesterday’s experience was very disappointing. Server was scattered, handed plates across the table instead of coming around serving to each person. 6 of us for breakfast and 2 meals were icy cold and the other 4 were just barely warm. The restaurant did comp the icy cold eggs and hash browns. Took over 30 minutes to get our food… only two other tables at that time of the morning were filled. Food and service is usually exceptional but this was an off day for sure.

    Unfortunately food arrived after lengthy delay and was cold. We ate it as we didn't have the time to send it back. Manager was apologetic and did give discount. Acoustics make it hard to have conversation

    Came in for the first time last night with my family. I was very excited until we sat down. The waiter barely gave us any attention. There was a table of 5 that also was seated around the same time. Tell me why our waiter waited on them first and checked on them numerous times. It took 20 mins for him to tell us they ran out of the shrimp ceviche. It took 20 more minutes to give us the guacamole and take our order. It also took 30 mins for our food to come out and took him 20 mins to come ask us how our food was and that was the only time he had asked.

    We are Lettuce Entertain You devotees because of the consistent service and quality of food. We had our wedding at RPM Seafood and are gold members in their loyalty program. We love literally all of the restaurants! But our experience at Beatrix's Oak Brook location last night was one of those rare experiences that missed the mark. Cocktails were outstanding as always. But the food was disappointing. Under seasoned and uninteresting. My salmon was wildly overcooked. The service was disengaged. I know that staffing is a huge issue right now and we absolutely offer some grace having both been servers ourselves, but we haven't observed service shortfalls at any other Lettuce restaurants. We had an early dinner (4:30) so there were lots of screaming babies. That's our fault, not the restaurant's - but something to consider from a timing perspective. We don't often walk away from a meal with regrets, but last night we did. We'll be back for cocktails, which is what we usually come for, but definitely not food.

    We went on a very hectic day. It was Mother’s Day Weekend/Graduation celebrations. Almost every table was full! The staff handled everything great! For me, the chairs were hard, but they kindly swapped it out for one with a cushion. Since it was so chaotic, we did not have a chance to look around and take it all in. It also made the place seem closed in. Food was great! Staff great!

    This was one of our worst experiences at Beatrix. Our server was great but everything else was fair to poor. They were cranking the music so it was way too loud, they squished all tables with kids.... even older children like teens in this one small section where we were all on top of each other. The food which we normally love and are frequenters of this location and Streeterville was bland and flavorless across the board, we had chicken tingas, avocado toast, burger. My husband enjoyed his arugula salad. They were out of multiple things on the dessert menu. We then ordered the cookie skillet which took half an hour.... they comped it because of the delay. I'd say this location is trying to be too many things to too many people.

    This locale is always good. Parking is crazy because of the blocked off valet for the other restaurants, but no big deal. Service is quick and they have ample seating options.

    Food and server were great. We had a reservation for 4, called to try and update our party to 5 and that request was denied. There were several larger tables open and available for our group size. Seemed strange to not take another sale.
