Not as full as a typical Sunday morning but service was bad and I had to call back to have my points added even though I wrote the code down. Not the first time that has happened.
My partner and I have been multiple times at Beatrix River North. This time, we decided to come to Fulton Market. Overall, we did not like the food there. Our meals were very salty. The meals in River North were much better.
We’ve eaten here several times and have always had an excellent experience. Yesterday must have been an off day. We were celebrating my birthday, which was put in our reservation and mentioned to our waiter, but never acknowledged. Our waiter was extremely rude and seemed annoyed the second he walked up to our table, which shocked us as we’ve always had exceptional service. I asked a question about the differences between two matcha drinks and his answer was “well what do you want your drink to do?” Weird. 3 out of 4 of our meals were wrong and he never came back to check on us so we had to eventually grab someone else to help us. Overall, extremely disappointing and I now no longer have any intentions on coming back.
Food was delicious and service was great.
Delicious. Would recommend the miso salmon and cauliflower.
Four of us on a busy Saturday night. All enjoyed our meals.
Great experience and solid service. Cocktails (while well crafted) were stingy pours which was a bit disappointing
Asked for medium rare. Got medium well. French fries were old. Asked for expresso got a 1/4 shot of one.
Our meal was fantastic. Steven, the manager, is always so welcoming and accommodating and makes every experience there special. Everything was perfect.
Never been to a Beatrix restaurant …fully enjoyed! Their pomegranate/strawberry mimosa was delicious!
Excellent service, very fresh food delicious and great atmosphere. Five stars across-the-board
We enjoyed celebrating a birthday over dinner in Fulton Market and Beatrix did not disappoint. The appetizer options were varied and we loved the spicy grilled cauliflower. For entrees, you cannot go wrong with any of the chicken or meat entrees, which our group enjoyed. But the salads and vegetarian options looked really good too. Our server was top notch and treats us to a complimentary caramel pie for a birthday dessert - this was amazing!
Lunch menu is uninspiring. I prefer the brunch menu. Fries are average. I’ve been here a few times and no need to return due to lack of different options.
Great variety of food options with something for everybody, so perfect for a group. The turkey meatloaf was pure comfort food on a winter night, but many other upscale choices are also available. The Kung Pao cauliflower appetizer was delicious. We had a very enjoyable and comfortable experience!
Service was slow and not thoughtful. Water glass was left empty for a long time until we asked for more, when we ordered dessert no napkin or utensil was provided. Our server disappeared and we had to wait a long time until we could ask for napkin and utensils! It was frustrating
I'm a regular at Beatrix Fulton. I order the same thing all the time. In this case the maple bacon I received as includes 3 slices. One of the slices was visibly undercooked and the other two were overcook. The waiter requested a new order of bacon but it took FOREVER..I was basically done with my food by the time bacon arrived.
Beatrix is likely to have families with small children and casual diners. It was a perfect place for friendly Saturday night dinner.
Great atmosphere, tasty food, fun time. I plan to return...
Space was a little bit cramped. we were seated at a high table where there was a lot of foot traffic around us. other than that the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. this was my first time here for brunch and i will definitely be back. our waiter, a hispanic gentleman, was also very kind and attentive
We popped in last minute on a Friday night and were seated right away! Everything was delicious! Would recommend and look forward on returning.
We’d booked for 10 but had a couple of no shows and a couple of late arrivals. The staff were super accommodating and don’t make us feel bad about putting in our orders at different times. Food was excellent and cocktails were delicious. They are also accommodating of food sensitivities which is super helpful.
Client got a chicken sandwich and was disappointed; the chicken breast on the sandwich was actually dry and smaller than the slice of avocado .
It was just ok.
Always love dining at Beatrix. They have a wonderful mix of fresh menu items, a beautiful ambiance and great service. Perfect place to grab lunch!
Beatrix is always reliable to get a good meal that isn't too pricey. We went on a rainy cold Monday night and it was pretty quiet. Great food as always. They have a good selection of food that is healthy, vegetarian options, and the menu goes from light to heavy options depending on how hungry you are. Also a good selection of fresh juice mixes.
Everything was delicious. The blueberry basil drink is delicious. It’s my favorite.
Exceptional food and service. Don’t forget to swing by the bakery!
Went there with three friends. Excellent menu and cute spot, especially for brunch. One of my friends got the cauliflower grits and eggs and said it's one of the best brunch dishes she's ever had. We shared their special pancake of the day -- deep dish apple -- that melted in our mouths!! Good variety of flavored mimosas as well.
Both the food and ambience were amazing!!!
Drinks were great, food was good but the portions weren’t worth the price, loved the ambiance. Our server was the best part of the night, she was hilarious and fun.
The food was good, not knock your socks off good. I loved the drinks but they took about a half hour to arrive, basically arriving with our meal :/ the server wasn’t the most kind either. Overall I would maybe go again but I’m not dying to go back
Food was good - very dairy forward. Great gluten free options.
Shared the avocado toast and quinoa cakes.
The kale salad was very mediocre. Also had romaine mixed in
Would highly recommend for groups. Looked like they were getting boards of pastries to share and I think this is where they would shine.
They gave us a significant discount for our birthday celebration and upcoming anniversary. Very much appreciated.
Good, unique menu options. Delicious.
Dope spot good place for or a date. FOOD is good chill spot
Beatrix is a gem! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and delicious entrees at a very reasonable price!
This place had such great food and service! I will definitely come back soon. I had the ricotta truffle ravioli and my bf had the short rib. Both were amazing! We also split a small appetizer or the kung pao cauliflower. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner! Everything on the menu looks great.
Everything was great!
Great price for Chicago Restaurant week. But the prices for a glass of “average wine” is way out of line. The choices of wine are $9-18.00/bottle. $14.00/glass if just right outrageous.
Service was awful. Waitress seemed to be hurrying us and didn’t check in much.
Definitely a hopping place for brunch. Food was flavorful but heavy. Tables were jammed together so servers did the best they could. Will rethink brunch there in the future.
