Beat Brew Hall
Where fun loving people come to meet finely crafted beers. Style that stands out, but doesn't boast, the Beat Brew Hall invites every person to come, learn, laugh and unwind. Our thoughtful menu soothes the soul with standout flavors that compliment our wide range of elite cocktails and exclusive craft beers. Walking into the doors one feels at ease and welcome. Our music matches the magic of this place: something extraordinary for the Harvard Square and Boston area. Simply put, Beat Brew Hall is home away from home.
We are Harvard Square's destination for Beats and Brews with a Kitchen that dishes out seasonal flavors from across the globe.
I’ve been to this location about 10 times and every time the staff has been amazing, friendly, and quick. The beer list is incredible and kept rotating. Atmosphere is very loud but fun. The food continues to greatly disappoint, though. The prices are very high for the low quality ingredients. Portions are on the smaller side for the price. I’ve never had a good meal here. This owner also owns the Beehive, with similar prices but some of Boston’s best food. I’m not sure why the Beat Brew can’t reach that level for food.
Big shout out to Raphael who gave us excellent advice and service. Very friendly place: great food, fun bar games, great atmosphere.
Awesome experience , everything was on point, great beer selection! I will go back .....
The staff is always very friendly and moderately attentive - Beer list is outstanding. Food is some of the worst, ordered a med rare ($19) burger and it came out very well done, poor quality meat, small portions for price, soggy fries, tiny tacos. Have been several times and will never be back for food, drinks yes. So incredibly disappointing considering the other restaurants this owner has, Beehive, is some of the best food in Boston.
I recommend the artichoke mushroom flatbread pizza. 👍
Too loud for us!
This was a fun way to start an evening that included seeing Gloria: A Life at A.R.T.
Too loud and food WAY too expensive. $16 for French fries? Nope nope nope
It was so noisy that two of our party left immediately. Then we couldn't hear the waiter. Also the beer selection was not that great and very pricey. No dark beer to speak of in winter? Only 3 to choose from for pitchers? We ended up leaving. A brew hall should actually have lots of brews to choose from and affordable food and you should be able to talk to your friends.
I'm not young, so when I stepped in here and saw what appeared to be a beer hall filled with college kids, my expectation for the cuisine was cautious. I must say that they surprise me with amazing and authentic Mexican cuisine. My wife and I loved it and will go back again. I might even have a beer.
Upscale prices, shack atmosphere and ok food. Waitress seemed unhappy
It's noisy in there, but that's to be expected, and the décor is informal. The food choices are limited and I was disappointed with the food quality. Service was OK. It's more like a pub/bar. I like the old Beat Hotel better.
Our server Eli was extremely professional - everything was delicious and he had great drink and food recommendations! He did a great job handling our party of 10!
Overpriced, divey-chic shouldn't be a thing. A flight of 4 beers was ~$24. A small flatbread was $18 + tasted like frozen pizza. It's like they went through a checklist of essential hipster things when designing. I would not recommend for any occasion.
The server didn’t seem to know the restaurant but didn’t mention she was new. It took an hour to get a beer...at a beer hall. Our food had already arrived and the sides came long after the main courses were eaten. Then we were overcharged. The food was delicious but the portioned were extremely small and expensive even for Cambridge. I was hoping for a new go to but this won’t be it.
I've been to Beet Brew Hall for many occasions, but this was my first time going there for their brunch. It was awesome! It is all a Tex-Mex theme, and the burrito that I had was delicious and the guacamole tasted better than many of the area's Mexican restaurants. It wasn't terribly crowded on a Sat. afternoon, and this will now be my go to brunch spot!
Food and drinks were fantastic. The number of beer choices is incredible. I had the chili burger and fries. To die for!!
I loved my visit to Beat Brew Hall! The beer selection was through the roof (as you'd expect with any beer hall) with a wide variety of different styles of beer, some that you can't even find at other bars! The food was delicious - I'd highly recommend the tacos and the fried chicken. Service was quick and friendly. 11/10 would recommend + will definitely be coming back soon for their live music.
The staff at Beat Brew Hall were all great, nice and friendly. The food wasn't good. Maybe it was an off night for the kitchen? The atmosphere is fun and lively and so maybe a better place to just go for a drink!
Casual, relaxed, low stress ambiance. Attentive and pleasant staff. Food was very good if you like mexican
I have to say this place impressed my friend and I. The beer selection was quite unique and interesting. They definitely have something to please every beer drinker. Our server was well versed in making sure we understood what we were ordering. The food and beer pairings were excellent. As for the food, the fried chicken is a home run. The vibe was upbeat and energetic. We will be back to try more of their beer list.
This is our second committee get together at Beat Brew Hall. The tables are arranged so that it is very easy to talk with everyone there - we had 8 people - without getting out of your seat. The beer selection is great and there are really good table sharing options. I recommend it!
Great spot in Cambridge. Easy to find with a nice big sign. Service was great and staff explained the menu well. The staff even changed one of the TV's to the football game we were looking for. Taco's, truffle fries, and the everything pretzel was awesome. Would definitely come again.
We loved this place, good food, excellent service. Good ambiance
Loved the vibe, the food, and the drinks. The everything spiced pretzel was amazing, and the green chile cheeseburger was bomb. Top it off with the Ricky Boogy - one of their frozen drinks - and you’re in for a good night.
We had an excellent experience. Food, drinks and service were great.
Fabulous dining experience at Beat Brew Hall!! From the beer to the food to the service everything was outstanding! Definitely worth a trip to Harvard Square, it’s a party!
Really enjoyed the Thanksgiving. Nice food choice for meat eaters and vegetarians. Really high quality gypsy jazz music was fun and the drinks were goid.
Went on quiet Sunday night and sat at bar so probably did not get real sense of it. The food was delicious. Not a huge fan of the hall-style decor. But can’t say I didn’t know that’s what it was.
Never seen so many beers in one place, great selection! Sara, our server was very attentive, a mind reader (this coming from a very picky person). Loved the duck confit sliders and my partner went nuts about the burger, wow, that's a "Must Try"! Nice choice of music. Too bad we had to catch a movie and didnt have time, but we will definitely be back, and this time we WILL order the "tres leches" and stay around for the live music.
Thank you Sara and Beat
Waitress forgot one drink. No big deal. No salmon available. Bigger deal. Tacos so delicious but so overpriced.
