    I was expecting top notch service. Waitress did not check in on us busy talking with other staff. We did mention that we had lobster shells and cartiledge in every other bite of the lobster cannelloni. Not any type of apology. The lemon beurre blanc sauce was bland no lemon flavor. The filet was amazing. Sadly disappointing as I was expecting this to be the highlight of our time there.

    Visited Beargrass for our Anniversary based on a recommendation from our VRBO host. Ambiance, host, servers, cocktails and wine along with the food were all great. We started with the wedge salad that we split and Beargrass served this on two separate plates - very nice. Good balance of servings on our main dishes, both beef cuts. We requested rare and medium rare and meat was cooked just as it should be. Size of portion and tenderness and flavor of the beef was of the highest grade. To recognize our anniversary they provided a card signed by the staff and a complimentary dessert. Both very nice touches and well received. This is not an inexpensive place to eat with a $200 tab plus tip but certainly enjoyable for a special occasion.

    Beargrass Bistro is the best restaurant in the Flathead Valley. The food is always superb. The staff is excellent and very knowledgeable. You can’t go wrong choosing Beargrass.

    We like to stick to the appetizers because you can get a nice variety of so many tasty dishes. The beef tips, crudo, cauliflower, karaage chicken all delicious. The wedge salad is better than kale. Great drinks too. Service is always great.

    Dinner first night of a 3 week VRBO stay nearby. Wow! This is some of the best food ever. We dine in NYC, Miami, Aspen, everywhere. This is the real deal. Very innovative. Pricey but worth every bite.

    The food is absolutely fantastic as is the service. My husband had the 16oz sirloin while I had the scallops. 4 stars for value because I had 3 scallops for $5 more than a 12 oz wagyu sirloin steak. The chocolate bourbon bread pudding was the best bread pudding we've ever had. The staff even gave us a card for our anniversary which was a lovely touch. We'll definitely come back and have found our favorite restaurant in the area.

    Baregrass Bistro experience was mixed for us. It’s a lovely restaurant in beautiful Flathead Valley. The menu is quite limited for our tastes. However, our server was kind, prompt and energetic. We had the halibut, Japanese chicken, and Waygu carpaccio. All were outstanding!! We had dinner about 6:45pm which was quite loud. So much so we couldn’t hear one another talk.

    Lakeside is lucky to have this jewel of a restaurant. This fine dining experience is comparable to any big city fine dining. If you haven’t tried this place, what are you waiting for? The food is delicious!

    Excellent food and a few unique options. Patio is quiet while noise level inside is moderate to loud. We enjoyed the patio. I would suggest they get some fans for the patio. Overall great, we will be back.

    The seafood curry was lacking in curry flavor and sauce and the portion was very small. The prawns on it were good though. But for 40+ dollars there should be enough curry for 4 people to be very full.

    Wonderful restaurant. Great service, engaging menu, very good wine and drink options and great acoustics. A table of 6 can enjoy a conversation while having a wonderful dinner.

    Great experience as always! The Land and Sea starter was fabulous. We had such an amazing time hosting our out of town guests. We all loved our main dishes (duck, elk tenderloin and lobster cannelloni). So excited to come back.

    We had a wonderful dinner for my sister's birthday! We started with dessert; the cherry cobbler and lemon ricotta cake were delicious! The karaage chicken was savory and crispy and the red pepper sauce had a lot of depth of flavor. The yellowfin crudo was absolutely to die for, the sesame sauce paired with the creamy avocado and the brightness of the kumquat with the buttery texture of the yellowfin was incredible! The fillet, veggies, and potatoes were cooked perfectly and the truffle butter and horseradish butter were a perfect pair with the steak. The lobster cannelloni was simple, but so tasty, the creamy and bright lemon beurre blanc sauce was exactly right with the lobster and pasta. Both the tiki rum drink and the vesper were great cocktails as well! If you want a wonderful meal with great service, a cozy atmosphere, and delicious food, beargrass is the way to go!

    As always, the food was amazing! Our server, Cadence, was friendly, helpful in choosing, and has an amazing memory! She remembered choices we'd made from the last time we were in! The ambiance, I'm defining as the decor, is beautiful and compliments the idea of the restaurant very well. The noise level is very important to me as I don't hear as well as I used to. Normally the noise level is excellent with just background chatter so it's easy to carry on a conversation. Last night there were some very happy tables that got a bit loud. Once they left the noise was very good and it was easy to carry on conversations. The food is a bit expensive with dinner for two usually costing us between 100 and 150 dollars. The food is amazing though! It was worth the extra cost. Every meal I've had from there has been exceptional! When you consider that you can't get out of McDonalds for less that $20 for two it makes the value of the food extremely good. :-). This is not my first time here and it won't be my last. It quickly became my favorite night out with the wife.

    I booked a reservation for my 30th birthday and put a note in the booking about it. No one acknowledged that it was my birthday when we were greeted/seated (which I found unacceptable) and a dessert was not offered (which I was not expecting but is common). The table across from us was being served and sung happy birthday by part of the staff as we were closing our tab but maybe their party mentioned something to their server. I ordered the lobster cannelloni. It was very good, lots of lobster and exactly as described on the menu (though I did not taste any lemon). I found the meal feeling unfinished though since it was the same rich flavor the whole time with no vegetable. Very simple, good quality. If you’re in the mood for a rich lobster dish, it’s perfect. I wished I had ordered the duck, but again personal preference/mistake. My husband ordered the filet mignon and really enjoyed it. I really liked our server and she asked about my meal when she notice I didn’t finish most of it (I did take the rest home). I gave her the same feedback I mentioned above. Overall good, quality of food was excellent, will try again and order something that has more of a range of flavors on the plate.

    I have no quarrel with the food or the establishment whatsoever, however I booked this dinner while on vacation with my wife for our anniversary dinner. It was booked through the app under special occasion - anniversary, which I have done before. This was the first restaurant that did not acknowledge the anniversary at all. Not even so much as a “happy anniversary” or a “ congratulations “. Needless to say it took the wind out of the sail.
