Bean & Vine
Ok, but they need to work on better menu descriptions, and wait staff was a little slow. Food was pretty good, but a little over-priced.
Excellent wine selection and the food was so good. I enjoyed the Quilt Cab (very reasonably priced by the glass), my daughter loved her Whispering Angels Rosé, and we both loved the charcuterie and the meatballs. Will definitely visit again!
Food was excellent. Very good wine list and the wine flights were fun.
Service and staff attentive
Every dish is amazing and perfectly sized. Drinks and coffee are delicious. Don’t be in a hurry but it is worth the wait. I’ve been for brunch and dinner a few times. Every time has been fantastic!
Great neighborhood find.
Wonderful spot, had a great time there, will definitely be coming back!!
My husband and I had a very good experience with our first visit to Bean and Vine. The southern Italian appetizer was unique and very delicious! My duck entrée was Prepared well and Delicious. My husband got a pasta dish that was a tad bit salty but otherwise great. We will be returning it sometime in the future.
Went there for the first time. Its a small locally owned place which we liked. It has a small but solid menu. If you want a big menu or big portions go to Grubs up the street but this place is more about quality. My wife and I both had the Short Rib and it was very good. Portions are smaller but we like that as well as we generally share plates at most places as the portions are so large. Priced appropriately for the portion sizes.
The owner was there and engaged. They cleared our plates when we were done which I liked. I hate dirty plates on the table. Dessert was unique sharable. The wine was a good value Overall, a very good experience. Definitely go back.
The device was great and the food was good. However,
There were maybe 5 entrees on the menu and the server informed us they are out of two of them. It did not leave many options.
A ladies lunch!
This was my second time at Bean & Vine. The first time was just for some wine and apps on a late afternoon. This lead me back to dinner. It's a small venue and we were unsure about the dinner crowd, so we made reservations via OpenTable. We ended up being the only table they had for dinner and sadly, it still too 45+ minutes to get our food. A friend of mine ended up leaving to go next door to "Sharky's" after waiting roughly 15-20 min. He brought back his food just as we were getting ours. The waiter noted "it's all from the same kitchen." So while we were initially shocked that it took so long to serve one table, it made a little more sense when we realized it TWO restaurants sharing ONE kitchen. Perhaps that's why we felt de-prioritized. All-in-all, the food was good. Will definitely go back - I just hope that work out the kinks.
Dear Quasifoodie, thank you for taking the time to share the summary of your visit, although we're saddened to learn of some of the confusion you wrote about. I can assure you that as much as I adore Sharky's, it's 100% a Separate Kitchen! Waiting too long for food is Unacceptable, but we're thrilled to hear that you'll Definitely be back! Please ask for me upon any return visit, as I would personally like to make sure you and your Friends have an exceptionable experience!... Respectfully, Kevin
Food was incredible
