Beaker & Gray
Start your dinner at Beaker & Gray off with the bites menu with items such as churros, shrimp, chorizo, and ginger or Oaxaca, wax pepper, oregano, and tomatillo. Cold dishes at Beaker & Gray include Renée salad, Spanish octopus and Cobia. Small dishes include pumpkin gnocchi, chicken nuggets, oxtail, duck and turkey leg. For larger appetites, try the short ribs, whole fish or mussles and clams.
Our impeccable service was topped only by the deliciousness of our brunch. We had the steak and egg which was cooked to perfection. The croque madame was made with an extremely tender oxtail that resembled the best pot roast you’ve ever eaten, only better. We also had the cheeseburger hash which did not disappoint. We enjoyed the Bloody Mary and mimosas. It was a little noisy, but only because of the number of people there. Definitely one of the best brunches in the Miami area.
The food was outstanding. Service from the staff was. Destiny was our server and she was very attentive!
Great food and price; would definitely recommend to friends
Food is very average
Restaurant was more than half empty but very very loud. We had dinner for four and only Tapas, no entres or single meals. Most were good but Octopus was very fishy tasting, others so so. Not sure the food was worth the price. Would not likely go back. There are better options
Great ambience. Visited early mid-week before musical show. Happy hr drinks and the food, small plates, was amazing. Many flavors and variety. Definitely heading back for m ore samplings of other plates.
We had a lot of fun, good food and good drinks. Place is pricey but has good ambiance
Loved the food, ambience and location
Wonderful girls lunch
The portion sizes were too small compared to the price point. There was no avocado in a sandwich.
everything was fantastic. short ribs, calamari etc and the deserts were excellent
Tapas style. Must try the hanger steak, chicken thighs, and gnocchi. For an appetizer the sandwiches and rangoon are amazing.
We were there to celebrate a birthday and it was amazing. We tired multiple menu items and neither of us could chose which was best. The food was out of this world. We can’t wait to return.
Service was not good, the waitress appeared to be in a bad mood or making us a favor to be coming to the table and asking for our orders. She did not look at us when speaking, she didn't smile, she didn't explain about the courses... The food was not too good either, I asked for a medium hamburger and it was medium well, they did not have ketchup to eat with the burger, they don't have kid's menu. One thing that I have to mention are the Cocktails. Specially one called That's all Folks, it was delicious. Nice job Bartender!
Great food. Highly recommend getting plates to share. Desserts were great
Wonderful time on a Tuesday night. Restaurant wasn't crowded but had good energy. Great service. Excellent drinks. The LAVAGAVE is a hit! Celebrated a friend's birthday. Food was outstanding! Don't skip on the burrata, cauliflower or pumpkin gnocchi. Will go back again soon!
Everything was great! Food was much improved from their opening.
Service was perfect, food was outstanding! Perfect evening!
Delicious food, perfect ambiance . I will go over and over again.
The food was excellent & service were excellent. Can't vouch for the entire menu, but our meal consisted tradition brunch items with modern twists. Our server was friendly, polite, informative, and attentive.
Met there for a junior high classmate reunion. The atmosphere was incredible and the food was DELICIOUS! I’m from Orlando and will definitely be making various trips to have everything else on the menu.
Amazing service and food. The drinks were also amazing had the mule and an old fashion not only the servers were fast but super great service and food quality. 100 % recommended.
My risotto came in a little cold but it was super tasty I loved it.
Nice atmosphere, small over priced plates. Very tasty, though
This was my 10th time here and it’s always a superb experience. Outstanding service. I have a food allergy and they could not have been more attentive or accommodating.
The food was absolutely amazing. Lots of complex flavors, great mix of textures, great quality. The proportions of each of the dishes was perfect and their recommendation of two dishes per person was spot on. The presentation of each of the dishes really tied to the ambiance and style of the restaurant. The only critique I would have would be related to the noise level which sometimes made conversation difficult and that a few of the dishes were over salted.
Food is just amazing! Creative and delicious! So glad I found this place
Went in for brunch on a Sunday and, even though the restaurant was packed, the service was great. We had two ladies taking care of our overall service and they were both very attentive and polite. Our main server was great at making recommendations when we asked for them (i.e., is this too much/ little food to share) and anticipated our needs (we ordered pancakes among other savory dishes and she asked if we wanted that at the end as dessert). Everything came out in good timing and all was delicious (especially the chilaquiles!). Great experience.
Food was great, service was average.
Loved this place!
Good food but small portions/pretty expensive. A little much for tapas.
Food was incredible and our server Jacob, even more incredible. Recommend highly.
Excellent food, cocktails, and recommendations from staff.
Burger croquettes were amazing.
A little challenging for conversation but worth the effort
We loved the food... I’m a Chef, and I’m crazy about that food!
Amazing experience. Jacob was THE MAN!
4 small, really heavy appetizers and 1 beer $130.
2/3 of us had stomach problems.
On our second trip here, we still loved the food, vibe, service. Menu has lots to recommend it.
Not worth the price, food sub-par - don’t get the tuna.
Very good service but food was overpriced and there were no dairy free options on the menu for my child with a dairy allergy. Would not go back.
Great meal and service. We came for a weekday lunch and shared the heirloom tomato small plate and the larger octopus bowl and short rib bowl. All good was extra flavorful and the service was great. Would definitely come back again.
We tried a bunch of stuff from the lunch menu and there wasn't a single thing I didn't love. Standouts were the roasted cauliflower, "bagels" and lox (they're not really bagels, more like savory donuts with everything seasoning), and the loaded fries. We went on New Years Day and they were out of a few items, including ground beef and shrimp, which limited our options. Our server said this happens every year, so I guess that's something to be aware of. You should be fine the other 364 days of the year and I intend to go back and check out their dinner menu very soon!
