I have been wanting to try this restaurant out for a while and was very pleased that i did! Restaurant is beautiful and very comfortable. Arrived a little bit early and we sat at the bar to try a cocktail. Selection is great and drink was delicious. Bartender was very nice as well. Everything from then on was on point. Hostess taking us to our seats, service and all were great. Food was very flavorful and beautiful in presentation. All the dishes we tried were awesome. Great variety and well executed. Cheers and thank you Beaker & Grey for a great night!
I went with two friends. The place was quiet. The waitress said they were out of both fish dishes. So, we were left with main corses that had meat. I am a pescatarian and ha do my one dish that confirmed to my diet. Did was ok, service was good, wine by the glass choices were limited and not great. On the expensive side for the quality and portion size.
Excellent service, food very out of the ordinary....loved it all around!!!!
Unique drinks and happy hours appetizers. The cheesy fries are amazing!! Fantastic servers!!!
Amazing experience! amazing food! Amazing service. JUST AMAZING!
The shrimp salad was everything!
Food and drinks were great, but food portioning and food menu descriptions were very poor.
The service was great, both at the bar and table. The server was very accommodating to a gluten allergy in our party, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Dishes and drinks were all delicious, great crowd and ambiance, although the restaurant was busy it didn’t feel crowded or distracting. We will definitely return!
Food and service are just exceptional here
Great brunch but it was a little pricey. Service was great !
Very delicious and beautiful ambience. Coupled with good customer service, it justifies the hefty price.
Always a great place to hangout with friends- great atmosphere and great food!
Food was incredible and the servers were very attentive. Will definitely be back!
Food is absolutely amazing, so much flavor and lots of options. The ambiance is wonderful as well. I’ve told all my friends about this place already. We will be back!
Excellent inventive food, great service, very attentive without being intrusive, nice ambiance. Portions are tapas style, but large enough to share. Loved the Spanish octopus, barrata, and scallops. Prices are reasonable. Truly excellent!
The food is amazing! The atmosphere is great! The only thing is the pricing, too expensive for what you get in a matter of portion.
We had a wonderful experience! Food was creative and delicious. Service was terrific as well. We will definitely be returning on future visits to Miami.
Taking my mom out for our weekly dinner - food was deliciously on point but the lighting is too low and the acoustics are not so great, hard to have a conversation and read the menu.
Absolutely spectacular!! The fact that they have a vegan menu made my night!!! Oh - and the regular menu was spectacular as well!! Service was impeccable all around.
Food was delicious! Restaurant is really cute and quaint. Service was great also. Definitely must return for dinner.
Amazing food and cocktails! Love this place! I’d definitely go back again.
Finally made it to Beaker
We have enjoyed dinner here on various occasions of which we really enjoyed it. Flavors, variations & overall experience. First time we went for brunch. It was ok for us. Portion for value was not good for us nor were options. We expected more variation and edgy options in the style of the dinner menu. It was ok. My choice was the Proper breakfast 2 eggs over Med (seems like smaller eggs where utilized
which came out a little over cooked w bacon which was 2 small pieces thick thou but tiny 2 pieces of thin sliced toast & small potatoes $15. Ordered a Mimosa which was room temp (I prefer it cooler). Portion was small for cost. My hubby ordered oxtail croquet which was delicious but unfortunately oxtail was cold in spots. We were assisted by two people 1 a lovely trainer & the other we were told a more brunch experienced person. She was not too friendly & kept tell us the cheese on this plate was Swiss where clearly states on menu it was guyere cheese. She even said she would check w kitchen.
We are glad we had the opportunity to try the brunch at this amazing eatery however find ourselves coming back to enjoy the amazing dinner options and skip brunch. There was not even a brunch special offered.
One of the best brunch spots I have been to! The hospitality was great and my friend and I had a nice time.
Although, I understand the premise of tapas...“plates will come out as they become ready”, I was extremely disappointed that my husband’s chicken thighs did not show up. As a party of eight, we ordered a variety of items from the menu but somehow those thighs never made it. When my husband went looking for the server, she said “oh, they’re coming out now”. Well, the rest of us had already finished, so he canceled the order. In addition, when we received our “old-fashioneds”, we requested them not so sweet. So, we were informed that these drinks are premixed and couldn’t be made less sweet. We were shocked, since the beauty of Beaker and Gray, is that they boast excellent mixologists! We have had many favorable experiences here but this was not one of them. In all fairness, the food is always amazingly creative and delicious, so we will return! They were possibly just having an “off” night!
Mother’s Day Brunch was wonderful. Our waiter was so attentive to us and helpful with explaining the dishes. My mom loved the food and glass of wine she had. I will definitely go back for brunch again.
Food is always amazing and service spectacular
You can never go wrong with this place. The food is AMAZING and so are the Cocktails. I reccomend the Yellow Curry, the Pork Belly and to drink the Lavagave!
Cool place, food was delicious, our server was very knowledgeable. Wish the noise level was lower. Overall 8/10
The service coming from the bar and from the kitchen was poor at best. Drinks ordered first didn't arrive until after the appetizers. The food carriers had to auction off the food when they arrived as they had no idea who order what and there where only 2 of us. The desserts took forever. To make up for long wait to get the desserts, management offered us free coffee. Here again, the coffee was cold by the time the desserts arrived. Nice place, great bar, great food, poor service from the Bar and Kitchen.
This is defiantly high end dining. For the celebration in question, it was good, but I can imagine it getting very pricy quickly. The "Bottomless" mimosas run $30 for 2 hours, which seems high to me as most places in Broward do it for $12 - $15. I might come back for a cocktail, the bar is impressive.
We definately had high expectations going in to Beaker & Gray. The ambiance was casual, no “wow” factor at all with the decor. Kind of on the dark side and tables were wide (we had a party of 7) so you felt far away from the people across from you. The hot dishes were all meat heavy, not many vegetarian choices. The risotto was good, and my husband said his wings were
good. My cocktail was not great, the Lavagave.
Amazing , it’s a must try.
Amazing!!!!!!!!! Would come again for sure no doubt
2 out of the 4 dishes we tried were very good. The other 2 just OK. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. It was a good experience, but I would not rush to go back.
Every bite was fantastic. Tried 5 separate plates and each one amazed in its own way. I would definitely recommend this place. I live in Fort Lauderdale and don’t make it down to Miami that often, this is worth the drive.
This is one of our very favorite restaurants in Miami and the Beach. Consistently top notch. Interesting dishes spanning the spectrum of tastes. This visit we enjoyed the burrata which was amazing. The chicken wings were a great twist on a staple dish. The Cobia in a coconut broth was fabulous. The pumpkin gnocchi with shredded short rib was flavorful and balanced. Our server was knowledgable and considerate of the pace of bringing out the dishes. Dining outdoors on the veranda is a little quieter than the vibrant scene indoors. It's all good - better than good!
The food was good. The service was fair. The images we saw online indicated larger portions than were provided. I was happy with what we ate, just felt like the prices were too high for the size of the dishes.
