   Food was just okay. Service was very slow. Drinks were fine. Loved the ambiance and we were lucky with the nice weather and seating on the patio.

   Salmon was delicious and perfectly cooked. Mussels are amazing too!

   Always a pleasure to dine here. We celebrated a friends birthday, she was surprised by a delicious slice of chocolate birthday cake with a great torch like birthday candle. Thanks, you made her night extra special!

   Usually enjoy Beacon, but unfortunately on this visit, food was lukewarm. Soup had to be reheated. My fish was lukewarm too, although I chose not to have it reheated. Hopefully next visit will be better

   Chocolate cake was not good. Everything else great ! Service was good not great. Prices are high but good ambiance.

   Gem in the heart of Oakville The prefixed lunch menu is a great deal! Generous portions, well executed, and very tasty The staff is lovely at this restaurant

    The hostess and wait staff here are excellent, very attentive and friendly. We were happy to see a tasting menu which we had not experienced before. Two of our party of four ordered the black cod and they kindly adjusted the sauce to accommodate dairy free and rice instead of the pasta as a GF option. Unfortunately the cod was so fishy tasting, neither of us could eat it. Also the broccolini on the plate was cold right off the bat. They offered us another choice but thats difficult once the rest of the group is halfway through their meal. Both had the steak frites, which was excellent. We ended up eating most of their frites. Our meals where taken off the bill, which is fair, but when you plan a dinner out, you want a nicely cooked dinner.
