Beacon Hills Crab Cakes
It all started with this recipe from an old Maryland cookbook. Eight crab cakes served with red pepper mayonnaise. We loved them & hope you will too
Blackened Salmon Alfredo
Perfectly seasoned salmon with mushroom, tomato, onion, spinach, basil & bleu cheese crumbles in parmesan cream sauce with penne pasta. Served with mixed greens salad & dinner roll
Brown Sugar Chicken Wings
Savory wings dipped in brown sugar BBQ sauce
Honestly the host was a little rude, but I didn’t take it personally since they were basically throwing menus on tables and walking away from everybody, not just me lol. The rest of the experience was top notch. We had the wings, and crab cakes, both were great. Surprised that in a land locked state like Nebraska they had good crab cakes.
Tried Beacon Hills, having heard Gary Saddlemyer talk it up on his Good Morning Show. Was glad I did!
I enjoyed the Blackened Salmon Alfredo; my family, the Burgher, Chicken Fingers, & Reuben. Thumbs up all around. Consensus is, we’ll be back. Dining room was busy after 6, though great to mingle with people and support another one of Omaha’s fine dining establishments. As a retired chef, I appreciate the effort at scratch cooking, at which Beacon Hills both prides itself & nicely achieves.
Excellent as usual
I love your fruit and nut salad. It is the perfect combination!
Great food. Service was a bit slow but expected at this time. People need to get back to work! Customers are out, so should able bodied employees! It’s time.
The salad I had was good, and the waitress suggested a side of their “amazing Mac and Cheese that is a specialty of the house.” It was objectively bland, overcooked and a complete waste of money. Since only two bites were gone (a second person at the table wanted to also try it), the waitress asked if we liked it and I said no. “Huh” was the reply, and there it was on the bill.
food was delicious but shrimp was a little undercooked. staff was incredibly friendly and filled up water like crazy without us even asking half the time. it was a saturday night so one of busy and loud but was still an amazing experience
We love Beacon Hills. The food is always excellent and wait staff are very friendly and attentive
From the moment you enter the door of Beacon Hill, you are greeted with a smile, friendly service and great attention. You are never in want for anything as both the servers and greeter are always paying attention to each table that is occupied. Thank you for a wonderful Sunday Brunch. I will return VERY often. Charles
Excellent food! Great patio
Beacon Hills was good. The service to order was a little slow for an empty restaurant. The food was very good though and our server was friendly. A great spot while visiting Omaha.
Our server was great and my friends really enjoyed there food
The food was great. We would definitely go back!
Food is great, service is prompt - can't ask for more.
Brunch of ham, green beans,Mac and cheese and biscuit was really good. Ate on the patio, where there were lots of diners but the traffic and diner noise wasn’t distracting. Have been here several times and the food never disappoints.
A varied menu with friendly service and reasonable prices are standard features of Beacon Hills.
It was very good
Everything we ordered was hot, fresh, seasoned well. Had a large booth in back so it was quieter. Loved the decor. Walleye was outstanding!
Hostess, server and manager were all very pleasant. Food was perfectly portioned with excellent flavor. Our first, but not last visit.
Great place for weekend brunch!
Fabulous Sunday brunch. Small menu but it's all good. Andrea is the bar tender/waitress in the bar and she's great.
Great food, great service.
Good solid choice for an early dinner. The menu offers a lot to choose from.
We found Beacon Hills to be a fun little restaurant. We had reservations and were seated immediately. The service was fast and courteous. My wife had the Yankee Pot Roast Stroganoff, which she loved. I had the Delmonico which I found bland. The steak had no seasoning or flavor and was very disappointing. We will go back, I just won’t order steak again.
Great Sunday brunch! Would recommend - great location, great food.
Great service, beautiful atmosphere and wonderful food! Can’t wait until the weather is better to come back and sit on the patio.
Classic but creative menu. Great people. This place is definitely one of my favorites.
Steak was cooked perfectly! Will come back again!
Horrible! Service was terrible, the food was raw and so bland! I will never eat there again!
We had a great meal in a warm quiet atmosphere. Staff was friendly, service was great food delicious as always.
We went for my wife’s birthday. It would be nice when I selected birthday as a special occasion on the app if the restaurant acknowledged it but otherwise awesome as always.
Should build out west in Omaha too. Back in the day Olive Garden had a map of Omaha with push pins where the next one should be built and it’s been busy non stop since they opened it. Maybe try that to see if there’s a demand for it. Ask the customer you already have, they’re much cheaper than trying to find new ones.
Although the food is always good here, I was disappointed that you no longer offer the salmon basket
Went for Sunday brunch with friends. Really good food and Ben, our server was excellent. Very professional, but friendly.
Very good meal, nice place but the crab cakes have a little too much breading in them for my taste.
Excellent menu choices, I’ll be back again.
First time there in New Year’s Eve. Great food!! Will return.
Our appetizer of wings were undercooked. The pot pie had an unusual taste and the carrots were undercooked.
Service was fantastic, speed of food and drink delivery were great. The turkey could have been prepared to be delivered with a higher heating temperature but overall service was very good
Went here for Thanksgiving meal and was very disappointed. Understand that it is Thanksgiving Day and not their regular menu but a limited menu. The main courses were turkey, prime rib and salmon. We ordered the prime rib and salmon. No seasoning at all on the salmon and the prime rib was served w/o au jus. Entrees were lukewarm at best like they have them on a plate ready to just put the side dishes on them. Cole slaw had the most vinegar I have ever had on a side dish. Dessert options were pumpkin, apple and pecan pie. We tried apple and pecan and not very impressed - you could tell they were store bought. Service was good and their cinnamon apple mimosa was tasty. Food was definitely not worth $130 for four people. I hope their regular menu is a lot better to warrant these 4-5 star reviews.
Food was tasty but not hot.
Dinner roll was microwaved and rubbery
