Very good waitress and bartender. Steak was cooked just about perfect.
Pretty fantastic. The food has always been amazing and the service has been good or great depending server. We come here often as we enjoy trying new things each time.
Seriously, the blackened salmon alfredo is borderline worth dying for. But then you wouldn’t ever get to eat it again.
Our waitress was great and the food came quickly, but probably too quickly because it lacked taste. The blackened salmon was light brown in color and my prime rib sandwich tasted bland with no depth of flavor. For the higher than normal prices we expected more from what we ordered. We may be back but it will not be at the top of the list of options.
Fantastic night out, our server was attentive but not pushy and the food was great!
Can’t wait to go back!!!!
Very good food that is reasonably priced
Excellent food and service!
Great Neighborhood spot, in Aksarben Village. A venue for any occasion.
Family night out. Great food and service
Very poor service. We were a table of 6 on a slow night and they sat us right by the door on a night it was 20 degrees outside. A person in our party ordered a Pinot noir—server brought him a Pinot Grigio. Server called a older woman in our party “Grandma” three times—and she was a grandma to NO ONE at our table. Rude and disrespectful. Salads were brought to the table AFTER the entrees. Server spent as little time at our table as humanly possible. Three of the six at our table were from out of town and this experience was an absolute embarrassment to Omaha’s restaurant scene. I could go on, but those are the highlights. If I cared about this restaurant’s success, I’d call and speak to a manager. But, we were so upset and and disappointed, we’ll just vote with our dollars and won’t go back.
Good food. Diverse menu, something for everyone. Great service.
Nice place in Aksarben, service was good, food was hit or miss. Great appetizer and drinks, average main course.
It was a great spot for lunch. Lots of good choices, and healthy options also.
My only recommendation would be to provide more veggies for the spinach and artichoke dip. We got 4 celery sticks and 4 carrot sticks and were told we couldn’t get a mix of the flat bread and veggies. The dip was great so we ended up using it with our meals. My group I dined with all loves veggies and were disappointed with the quantity.
While my steak was over cooked I had a phenomenal experience. The waitor and manager were professional and provided excellent customer service.
I had the crab cakes, fruit and a salad with wonderful strawberry vinaigrette. Waitress was very attentive and helpful. The food was great. As a person who is disabled, finding a close place to park was really important, but not a reality. Except for the parking, the experience was great.
We were seated quickly by a very nice man who said his shift was just ending. Said our waitress would be over in a bit. At least 10 minutes went by and he came back asking if we had been helped yet and we said no. He returned with a young lady who said she was our waitress. She left to get waters. We had questions about the wine and our waitress knew nothing, so the nice man helped us, and stayed past his shift to show her how to open the bottle and pour it. He then said good night.
Our waitress took our order, but totally forgot my salad. I had to flag another person down who got my salad but it was well after we received our order. Our waitress said the crab cakes were the best so my 96 year old mother in law ordered them. They were terrible. I ordered salmon that was decent. We never saw our waitress again. Did not ask us if we wanted anything else, more wine, water nothing. WE finally flagged her down for the bill and said no to dessert. Not a good experience.
So when Beacon Hills first opened my husband and I stopped in for a drink. We sat at the bar and I got a glass of wine and my husband asked for the old fashion. The bartender looked at him in the face and said she's never heard of that drink. Again, we are sitting at the bar and she's the bartender. I tried to make light of it while my husband walked her through on how to make the drink after she couldn't find a recipe on her phone. After we left I thought they just opened so I would give them a second chance and after all we didn't eat anything. Fast forward to the time I tried the food last weekend. It was average and I mean average, I've eaten better at buffets. Two of the four people ordered mac and cheese. The two dishes looked completely different. One had barely any mac and cheese and looked fresh. My husband asked if he could get a little more. The other persons mac and cheese looked like it was scraped from the bottom of dish warmer. Funny thing was, the bowl was full to the top of the bottom of the barrel old mac and cheese. So when the two dished of mac and cheese came to the table everyone was taken back. I can only speak for mine on the way it tasted. I ordered the Chicken Florentine and that was literally a frozen cooked a piece of chicken with two slices of swiss cheese on top, 1 slice of tomato and little pile of spinach and that was it and that was $15. There is a lot of great places to choose from and this is NOT one of them, I will not go back again.
I love the menu and the quality of the food
Bad place for a first date on a Saturday night. Lighting too bright, ambiance is that of an airport lounge. Staff tried to convince us to dine at the bar when I had requested a booth. No offer of a drink when first seated, just menus. My date already had a drink, as he waited at the bar for me. Overall, disappointing, good quesadilla could use a side of sauce.
The food was good, the wait staff was attentive. It was good!
The Crab cake appetizer's were excellent. I had the Salmon Basket which was very good, the salmon was fried like chicken fingers.
The only thing is that we allowed 90 minutes to get to the Lindsey Stirling concert but it was jammed with many others also heading to the concert. We didn't get served until 20 minutes before the start of the concert and had to really eat fast!
Our food was good although we thought it took a bit of time to get it. Waitress very nice and efficient.
Loved being able to make a reservation and only waited about 10 minutes to be seated.
Only drawback is the noise level. Pretty loud.
I was skeptical about taking my family from out of town to eat our Thanksgiving meal. My spouse has special dietary requirements, and I called ahead of the day and spoke with the staff. They were more than willing to bend over backwards to accommodate our needs. Everyone in our party said the food was absolutely delicious, and our server was delightful. Not only will wr return next Thanksgiving, but also all through the year.
Staff was friendly, but we waited a long time for our food. We were told that two large groups were causing a delay in the kitchen. When our food finally arrived, it was warm, not hot. If the kitchen is that busy, then the food should be fresh and piping hot when it arrives. The food tasted fine, but it was nothing to write home about. The serving sizes were appropriate, but prices were high for what was served. I ordered the stuffed biscuits and gravy, which was tasty, but it was not worth the price charged.
have had better experiences here in the past. the beef stroganoff was tough as nails this time
Three of us ordered 1 salad and 2 sandwiches for dinner and it took 45 minutes to receive our food. Our server was nowhere in sight, so I told the person at the front desk how long we had been waiting. We then received our food within 2 minutes. The food was not warm, so it seems like the server wasn't paying attention. I won't choose this restaurant next time as there are plenty of other options nearby.
The food was excellent. The service was ok, but I think it could have been better. Maybe the server was just having a bad night.
Good food and attentive service. Got there right after noon on a Friday, and it was busy and a bit too noisy for conversation. After 1pm it seemed to quiet down so we could talk!
We had a nice night celebtating my mom's birthday. We brought some kids and picky eaters and everyone found something on the menu to be excited about and everyone left full and happy. We were not completely satisfied with our waiter but management made things right. They also kindly called and tracked me down when they realized mom left birthday cards and presents there. And all was acconted for when she came back including a visa gift card. So these are honest folks with a nice restaurant.
another positive experience at Beacon Hills. Service is always friendly, very attractive decor and food has been consistently good. Would recommend and have done so. We will be back
It was good
OMG the pancakes were tough, chewy rubber and the eggs were not fresh but liquid scramble.
They give you a tiny ketchup container with cold syrup that gives you sticky fingers when you pick it up, and when you ask for more the waitress brought another and spilled the sticky stuff and didnt even clean it up. They must be trying to conserve. Every restaurant gives you a container on the table.
The bacon was good. Overpriced for what you get.
great food for the value! Never a disappointment with service or food.
My opentable reservation did not show up on their schedule. They were able to seat us anyway. The hostess could have been a little more friendly.
Very good. A little too noisy for conversation.
First time/ last time. Chic salad was cold and dinner salad was a small handful of iceberg. 4-6 oz pours of wine. Better options out there for $100 for a couple.
Our meal and the service were excellent. My only "complaint" is that bread was not served with our dinners.
I have also enjoyed Beacon Hills happy hour and brunch in the past.
