   Our waitress had a very loud voice that could be heard all over the restaurant no matter where in the space she was. And she and the other staff congregated by the espresso machine which was close to our table, so then we had to speak over their conversation to hear each other. That is a sign or poor training. Regarding the service, although it was not busy, the first table they offered was right next to a group of four conversely loudly. We asked to be moved to a quieter table, suggesting the back room, but they sat us at the end of the front room -- hence opposite the espresso machine. They didn't seem to 'get' that we wanted to be able to have a quiet conversation. And the waitress could not keep straight who wanted which items -- the beverages, the desserts, and even after having given me the check (which was correct since I was hosting), plunking the folder with the receipt and my credit card in the middle of the table rather than returning it to me. Either her concentration or memory were lacking. Our food was very nicely prepared and presented, but all these other factors lead me, likely, to not return.

   We had brunch there. Food was good. I ordered a salad that was not on the menu but they have been able to accommodate my request. It seems that they have a nice breakfast selection as well that we will try soon.

   We loved the Beacon Hill Hotel. It is a great location, a pretty spot and great food. I'd definitely recommend it!

   Lunch for four. Caesar salad delicious. Salmon and risotto excellent. Omelet good. Farro salad good. We would come back

   Lovely quiet lunch spot on Charles Street in Beacon Hill. Great place to meet someone for a business conversation or catch up. Staff is welcoming, service on point and food quite tasty at reasonable prices. Worth a visit!

   Beacon Hill Bistro was our favorite brunch spot. We obviously hadn’t been in some time because the restaurant changed the name, menu and ownership and completely went down hill. The poor selection of brunch food is over priced. The food wasn’t good nor was the “Bloody Mary”. It’s too bad that Boston lost one of the best brunch spots.

   The food is always consistently excellent. The halibut and the chicken are two of my favorite dishes. Ambiance and service are also both great.

    Party of 3 - What a gem in the heart of the neighborly Beacon Hill. Drinks and cocktails were very delicious. I loved the truffle fries which were thick & crispy yet fluffy inside. My wife had the Caesar salad w/Salmon and she says it was spot-on and lovely!! Chocolate covered cheesecake for dessert!! Everything was wonderful!! Thanks for your hospitality
