   We celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary! What an amazing dinner! Peter our waiter was outstanding. Food was amazing and the view was beautiful! Can’t wait to go back. This is a must visit

   The view is amazing! Great spot for a nice quiet lunch. We came at noon and we were the only table there. Very relaxing meal. Food was average.

   The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent and contributed to and enjoyable dining experience. Food preparation, presentation, and taste were wonderful. Peter's service was attentive and cordial matching his knowledge and descriptions of the food selections. Would return without hesitation.

   Really great little bistro. Nice break from the resort food options and we basically got the whole place to ourselves. They even have a non advertised kid menu that was a hit. Would definitely come back!

   Overall, it was rather disappointing. It’s probably a staffing issue, but everything was very slow. We were seated 20 minutes late (the entry is small so there isn’t really anywhere to wait). The bar was being run by two “kids” who kept asking how to make things, which is fine but I wouldn’t really get a cocktail here! They were out of several menu items, which was disappointing. Overall, the food was good, although the ribeye was way underdone for medium-rare (dark red, cold center— more like what you would want with seared tuna). They were happy to put it back on the grill once we brought it to their attention. We won’t be back— for $450 (6 people) it left a lot to be desired.

   The restaurant must be having some issues because they were out of a number of things and were down to just one dessert. We asked the server what was going on and he said he didn't know, but he was suffering from it just like us. That is not a great answer. Hanger steak and walleye were both great, but the accompanying vegetables were hard as a rock. The dessert was "store bought" with fake whipped cream. The bar was empty and only a few tables filled on a Friday night.

   I made this reservation because I wanted to eat at around 9:15 and they were the only restaurant that had a table available at that time. After driving to the restaurant I find that it is closed. Won’t fool me twice…

    Peter is a great server! Menu has been scaled down, but still has a nice variety of choices. Would like to see 1 or 2 fish entrees. Mussels were plentiful, way more than an appetizer portion. The ahi tuna was also a nice portion size. It's nice that the restaurant takes reservations.

    Becca was just outstanding. High energy, polite and very attentive to our needs. Chicken wrap and crab cakes were great and my buddy loved the wagyu burger. I would like to see brewed iced tea and French fries added, but LOVED Becca, the setting and the food.

    Autumn was a wonderful server. We enjoyed the delicious shrimp and grits appetizer and had the hanger steak and pork belly ramen bowl for dinner. We also had a sensational espresso martini for dessert. Everything was fabulous. It’s lovely to be here when it’s nice and quiet!

    Nice location and terrific view of the Bay. Our server Emma was terrific. Friendly, professional and efficient. However, she was thrown a curveball by the kitchen. I ordered the Bucatini Pesto Burata but was informed very quickly by Emma way hat they ran out of bucatini. So she suggested the Short Rib Stroganoff. I decided to order it and when it arrived, the pasta used was not pappardelle as listed on the menu but, wait for it, drumroll please, you guessed it - BUCATINI! When I pointed that out to Emma she was clearly surprised and uncomfortable. Not good leaving your wait staff hanging like that. Additionally, the stroganoff was a bit bland. Wife’s Poke Tuna was good but she would have liked the tuna cut in smaller cubes. Overall, we would come back on the strength of the service and ambiance in the hopes that the coordination between the kitchen and the wait staff would be better.

    Our waiter Tim was fantastic. The Kitchen decided to give me a dish that I didn’t order. I ordered pasta and they gave me gnocchi- tried to pass it off. I don’t understand if you don’t have the dish please tell the client just don’t give them something they u decided to substitute. Then they add a 4% convenience fee on the bill for credit card use what if I paid cash??? I told Tim I would go back because of him and his service ( he took the dish off the bill even though I ate part of it because of the time it took to serve us. I don’t think I can recommend or go back. Sorry Tim.

    Food and service were fabulous. Everyone loved their dish and we had items as varied as salmon, osso buco, brussel sprouts and beef stroganoff. Lake views were stunning. Only issue was noise- very hard to hear each other.

    All four of us had a wonderful dinner tonight! Food, drinks. Service and ambience were all outstanding. Paul, our server , was attentive but not hovering. The food was the new fall menu and it was excellent—beet salad, soup, chicken Marsala, short rib bc stroganoff were superior! Truly wonderful evening!

    We came here for my s/o's birthday. There was not a single thing on the menu we didn't like. The food and drinks were amazing. I especially liked the paper plane from the bar. We asked the host if we could switch to a window table with a lake view. It was very busy and we were there for two hours, but everyone was very nice and we had a great time. It was hoppin' and loud, so maybe not the place to go for a low key dinner.

    They have added Walleye to their menu to replace the halibut, and it was outstanding. I'm GF, and they were able to prepare it for me that way, with ancient grains and fresh veggies, and it was really wonderful. My husband had the bolognese, which is his usual, and it's always great.

    Service s little off probably because we were outside. Osso Buco was very nice. Wedge was chopped so not my favorite and a little shy on cheese. Wagyu Sizzler was great with chimichuri which was particularly nice. Decent wines by the glass although reds were warm instead of 60-65 degrees.

    Located with a great view of little traverse bay, the menu has something for everybody. It is a little pricey for the menu but the food is locally sourced and well prepared. Recommended for up north dining in Petosky.

    We dined outdoors at a table overlooking the street. Jim, our server was great . Each couple shared a beet salad. Two of us had salmon and two the mussels. All was clean plate club. No dessert. Cocktails were flavorful and original. Bill was reasonable. We will be back.

    Service was very slow, but server was pleasant and knowledgeable. Pasta Diablo was good, and as spicy as its name. Walleye was good. They forgot our salad and comped our drinks. We will definitely visit again, and sit outside or in the back with a view!
