   Great dinner and top notch service. Every staff person was on point and so attentive. The mixed drinks are a little small and light on alcohol, and the entrees were light on fries, but we will go back.

   We go to the Beechwood frequently in the summer, as we have a summer home nearby. We decided to go to dinner during President’s Day weekend before attending the Aunt Mary Pat show hosted there. They advertised their Winter menu on the website, but the menu offered this weekend was extremely limited. The place was packed, staff was short-handed. My food came out 40 minutes before my husband’s meal did. It took at least 15 minutes to track down our server to inform her of this. Beechwood is usually a great place to dine and have drinks. However, this visit was not up to par. It seems that the focus was on the event and not on the restaurant, which was unfortunate.

   Entrees are over priced and food is just not worth it. Good place for drinks and maybe small plates but every time we order actual dinner items it’s just disappointing. Such potential and great location.

   Rough night. Our waiter was great but kitchen really struggled - - never got dinner. I usually have a good experience at Beachwood but really bad tonight. I recommend sending gift certificates to all who had reservation on Dec 31 to win first timers back.

   Waited an hour for dried up salmon and chicken, asked where are food was it appears 1 minute later clearly microwaved as the dish was so hot you couldn’t touch it. Band and drinks were good.

    We waited over an hour-and-a-half for our meals to come out after ordering - it took a while to get our main entree order in. We didn’t eat until 10:30 and we initially sat at 7:45. All the tables around us were seated after us and ate and left by the time we got our entrees. The manager eventually came out and apologized, but that was literally it. We have eaten there before and the experience in the past has been much better.

    Last night of the season. Staff worked super hard. Clearly kitchen was swamped as our food wasn't great, but that is VERY unusual. We love the Beechwood and can't wait for them to open again in February.

    New Years Eve dinner. 210. Includes tip. 1 app, 2 entrees, 2 cocktails, 1 glass of wine. Steak served with a butter knife, serving carafe of wine served with out a glass. Pasta with cream sauce, more pasty vs. creamy. Fried calamari rubbery, not crisp. Steak under seasoned. 2 excellent cocktails. The young man and woman behind the bar know their business. Our server was earnest and pleasant. I would go back for cocktails but not for food.

    Probably the worst experience I have ever had at this place - and the experience during the busy summer months is usually quite good. Totally understaffed for a holiday weekend. It was so bad - they didn’t have enough menus for the customers. Management should take a hard look at how much they hurt their brand by being open with such a small amount of staff. That being said - the staff made a Herculean effort and should be commended for their efforts. The waitress- and there was only one and she told us so when we’re were seated - was awesome! The few other staff - runners, hostess etc really tried to pitch in - they should all receive significant bonuses for their efforts. After 20 minutes of pondering the situation over our drinks, we knew things were only going to get worse as a lot more people poured in and they tried to accommodate them, so we left. Fortunately, within 10 minutes we ended up at another restaurant nearby and had a very pleasant meal - with great service and food. Beachwood- next time do better - if you don’t have the staff - don’t open your doors. Will be quite some time before I give you a try again - very disappointing.

    While the off-season menu was limited, the variety was excellent and everything we had was very good. Stephanie, our server, was very friendly and did a wonderful job. It was a slow night in December, but the vibe of the room was good. We'll come back

    Made reservations to celebrate my wife’s birthday on 12/10/22. It was very cold outside and it was also extremely cold in the restaurant. It did not feel like the heat was on at all. All the patrons (about 10 total) kept their coats on the entire time as we did. We mentioned how cold it was to the manager who indicated they had their heat up all the way. My wife and I were literally shivering the entire meal. The food & service were good but when we dine out we like to enjoy the meal. The temperature inside had to be 55 degrees tops. This significantly detracted from the experience overall.

    We love to come in off season as we always get a booth and quick service. Jen was a great hostess/server, completing a few jobs perfectly. Frank was helpful with our gift card purchase. Good and drinks are always delicious. Love our quiet end of the island ❤️

    second time dining here and just as good as our initial experience. I bit on the expensive side, but everything was excellent - food, service, etc. love their cocktails. We planning on returning soon to sit at the bar have a more casual dinner. their burgers look amazing so I need to try it!

    Evening started poorly as we waited 15 minutes for cocktails before we were told the bartender dropped a glass in the ice bin and they needed to clean it out. We said we understood but we did not want them to bring our dinners with the drinks. They said “of course.” We waited another 15 minutes until cocktails came, only to have a bug floating in one of them! Back it went for a redo. Didn’t take long for the new one to come…and right on its heels came the entrees. We asked them to take the entrees back to give us a chance to enjoy our cocktails. Shortly afterwards the manager came over, reviewed everything, and apologized. He also said the drinks are on the house. Lastly he asked how much time we wanted before they delivered freshly made entrees. Two short rib dinners came right on time, and they were delicious! Kudos to them for owning the problem and turning the evening around.

    Great service, beautiful and clean atmosphere, good live music. Price point for entrees should be evaluated- 3 out of 4 of us ordered salmon which should have been served with risotto and asparagus. Sadly, 2 of the 3 salmon entrees arrived 90%uncooked and cool to the touch in the center. The 3rd Salmon entree was about 70% cooked and the guest did eat it. None of the salmon entrees were served asparagus only the risotto. The bar cocktails were excellent.

    If you want a leisurely slow passed dinner, this is your place. If you have children or cannot set aside 3 hours for dinner, this is not the place for you! Food was great when we eventually received it.

    What a great place! It was up on the second floor overlooking the street below. Sliders were open which welcomed a nice breeze. The food was great and our waiter was very nice, informative and helpful. Would highly recommend. As an extra bonus, walk a few blocks and see an amazing sunset.

    The Beachwood was very good. Food was excellent, service was great from a server perspective however drinks were backed up at the bar and took a while to get another cocktail. We ordered a second prior to dinner being served and came out once dinner was finished. Food was a bit pricey but was excellent!

    Overall food evaluation was just fair. They were accommodating but we had 1 vegetarian and there were very limited options. Bar scene looked good but we were there for dinner so cannot evaluate. Overall disappointing and overpriced.

    Food made us terribly sick. My boyfriend and I both have Celiac and were informed that the food we ordered was gluten free. Avoid if you have food allergies. Waitress kept asking us for our order every 2 mins even though we said we needed more time.
