   Great food, drinks and service. Mole chicken was delicious. Pasta with shrimp was excellent, but scant portion for a hungry 23-year old. We had great service and a nice table. Prices are a little high for the place.

   Food is Yummy - Yummy- and great service. Music was great, but not so loud which can be difficult to chat with your guest. And food was delivered within minutes. Didn’t have to wait long at all. Great view too!

    The hostesses were inattentive. I came 20 minutes earlier than my reservation time. I made the hostess aware that I would be visiting the bar. The bar staff were polite and responsive. The hostess never asked for my contact details nor said they would reach out once my table was ready. I had to revisit the hostess and remind her about my table at the reservation time. At the time I did this, there weren’t any other patrons waiting for their table. The table service was poor and slow. Poor because of the infrequency and inattention to expediting our multi course meal. The food was not tasty enough for me to want to come back. They ran out of a basic vegetable (potatoes) but managed to substitute with French fries. That was very disappointing. I was provided with no chance to provide any input on what I would like in place of the potato. French fries for valentines dinner? I’m not a teenager, no thank you. At this point I just wanted to eat. The time between each course was 20-30mins. Not acceptable at all given they were serving a fixed menu for everyone. Felt like an eternity. I saw no manager on staff during the busy Valentines evening. I would not ever come back for a special occasion, especially a publicly recognized occasion/holiday where the staff is unable to handle a busy day. I would only ever consider visiting the bar.

    Four women who rarely sit down for a meal together had a lovely meal, a fabulous backdrop, and were able to communicate in our normal voices! The service was impeccable and the food was delicious! It was a perfect afternoon!

    Gave 3 stars for food and value even though I never ate here, but had to rate those categories to continue the survey. Gave it two stars overall because the place is run by fools. I made reservations with my friend attend. I arrived, gave them my name and told them I had reservations. The whole purpose for us to go was to be outside by the ocean. They said they had not tables outside. I pointed to a table and said, "that one is empty." The hostess said that it was reserved for a four person group. She said all she had open was in the dining room. She took us to the dining room to...wait for it... a FOUR PERSON TABLE! I made mention of the fact that it was the same table as outside, but she ignored me. My friend and I sat down, looking at stark walls and absolutely no ambiance. The difference between outside in the sunshine and inside in what looked like some dining hall was vastly different. We decided that it was not what we wanted. We left.

    Not worth it to buy the executive brunch. We paid $400 for an “executive chef brunch” for four people that was mediocre at best. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating but the food was not the greatest ESPECIALLY for the price. One person in our party didn’t drink any alcohol but they were still charged a $10 wine tax on the ticket which we didn’t object to. The menu reads better than it tastes. We all left the brunch underwhelmed and shook that the mediocre food cost almost $500!!! They should put way more effort into the brunch and stop overcharging for subpar food

    We brought friends from out of state to Beachside hoping that it would be as nice as it appeared on Open Table because we had never been there before ourselves. We were more than pleased with our choice. The valet parking was great. We had one of the best servers we have ever had at any restaurant. The food was delicious. All I can say is that you won't be disappointed in going there!

    Another restaurant I have loved and bragged about for years that has changed in sadly, such a terrible way. I selected it for a girls day out lunch, but things have changed so much, I will never be back or ever recommend again! Used to be you could have a wonderful weekend lunch or brunch there with lots of tasty, reasonably priced options to choose from on the menu. Now? You have two menus. If you'd like to enjoy brunch, you can for $80/person and pretty sure that didn't even include a mimosa!!!! The other menu is extremely limited and, not surprisingly, on the expensive side - mostly salads and sandwiches. I opted for the chicken sandwich with fries. Chicken was dry and fries very boring. Their fries used to be awesome, but McDonald's fries are way better than what they offer now. So very sad. Another example of greed and/or a chef with an extremely large ego he/she thinks their food is quality and worth the price...it's not good quality and certainly not a good value! I grieve for the good old Beachside I was proud to recommend and loved to enjoy. 🙁

    Daughters birthday! So the food was phenomenal- it was 80$ for the brunch/ and so glad I did it but I think it was over priced for portion. Yes it’s a lot of courses 10 but they were 2 bite size except for last plate. But again food was delish.

    Dogs on the patio. The menu is VERY limited, as in 5 items. Drinks were basic. Service was just okay. Overall would not be open to trying again. Was a nice day for Sunday, so that was a plus.

    We used to love this place but the brunch options have changed and they literally only have an expensive four course option or for other items. A fast food restaurant has more options. The ambience and service is great but we won’t come back until they have an actual menu again unfortunately.

    Worst Caesar salad, wilted lettuce, tasteless Salmon was ok, beets served with salmon still had indentations from the can they came in imprinted on each slice It I had know it was a hotel restaurant t I would never have booked I it. Not a memorable experience .

    The location for this restaurant is great, beach views and decent parking options. Our main issue was with the menu. We were going off the online brunch menu and when we arrived for the reservation, there was only a limited menu being offered. The online menu has several meal options (especially helpful for those of us with dietary restrictions and food allergies) but the menu at the restaurant only had 5 items you could choose from or an $80 10-course “experience”… The manager lacked empathy and offered zero accommodations. We had already been sitting and waiting for about 45minutes after the reservation started at that point so decided to stay. The food was decent but will not be coming back given the limited food options and manager’s behavior as well as lack of transparency at the time the reservation was made. At least an update to the website would’ve been helpful.

    We have visited the Beachside Restaurant many times over the years. Since the Pandemic we had not been there for 2 years. The last time before this visit I had delicious Huevos Rancheros. But now it seem they have radically redone their menu. If you want traditional brunch fare, this is not the place for you. No eggs with bacon, sausage, ham, hash browns, etc. Only eggs with Pork Chops and/or steak, also a Breakfast Sando with roasted pork belly, pumpkin seed and kale pesto, sliced tomato, arugula, honey mustard, pretzel croissant Breakfast Tacos -( not on New Year's Day menu) Frangelico Custard French Toast & Fried Chicken crispy fried tenders, fresh berries, cinnamon butter, vanilla maple syrup Beachside Scramble applewood smoked bacon, tomato, avocado, cheddar & jack cheese, basil, country potatoes Protein Scamble (misspelled) egg whites, spinach, shiitake mushrooms, grilled chicken breast, avocado, quinoa salad Also Roasted Broccoli Ceaser (misspelled) romaine lettuce, parmesan, brioche croutons, anchovy dressing Stone Fruit & Prosciutto Salad seasonal market stone fruit, greek feta, mint, arugula, peanut salsa macha dressing Shrimp Ceviche coconut lime leche de tigre, octopus, aji Amarillo sauce, totopos (gf?) Mexican Shrimp and Grits Jamaican jerk rubbed, hominy grits, mango mojo, peanut salsa macha Salmon Achiote Achiote & lime rubbed, quinoa salad, grilled corn and zucchini, mango chutney, pickled onion No omelettes, no Eggs Benedict (they had no English muffins!) just a lot of very complicated, upscale food. The entire menu was so disappointing I ordered a burger (which was very good but not what I wanted for brunch) I won't be going back unless they restore good old fashioned brunch food to their brunch menu!

    Had dinner reservations here for new years, it offers a great view of the marina del Rey fireworks and nice live music, but these were pretty much the only highlights of the night. We waited almost an hour past our reservation time to be seated, the service was inattentive, the food was mediocre for the price, and to top it off one of the managers spilled an entire tray of champagne all over the poor woman sitting at the table next to us. Glad we got to see the fireworks while eating, but will pick a different restaurant with a similar view next time.

    We loved our time at the Beachside Restaurant & Bar. It was an awesome night, other than the wait time to get our table it turned out so good. We enjoyed the service, food and band. If it hadn’t rained during the fireworks display it would have been the perfect evening.

    The food was pretty good but it took 45 minutes for us to receive it. A salad, short ribs, French fries, and ceviche. I don't know if they forgot to put the order in or what. The waiter apologized multiple times which was nice, but he never checked on us, no drink refills, nothing. It was unfortunate it was such a disappointing experience because the restaurant itself is beautiful. We were really looking forward to the visit.
