    We dined in the evening in late September. The location overlooking the ocean cannot be beaten and is perfect for a romantic evening. I can recommend timing your meal so you can enjoy watching the sunset together. Food and service was very good. We enjoyed shrimp cocktails to start, with grouper and tuna for entrees, finishing with key lime pie and enjoyed every bite.

    We’ve been coming to Destin for 25+ years, but have never eaten here before - we won’t make that mistake again. Our food was incredible, the server a total delight, and the ambience and view cannot be beat! Definitely one of our new favorites for future trips.

    We had a great Birthday dinner on Sunday night. We sat outside on the deck, which was amazing with the beautiful ocean views! Our waiter was the best, a nice young guy from Croatia named Milan. He made our entire night amazing!! He makes a great Old Fashioned, too!!

    Spectacular meal, great service. Enjoyed the outdoor seating, just about on the beach. A refined but not stuffy elegance. Will be back next time in Destin!

    Robert is the BEST server. Beautiful view of the beach from the veranda. I had the grouper and my husband had the snapper. Both were fresh and delicious.

    Great view, great food!!! Overpriced but probably in line with beachfront resort dining (you pay a premium for the view which is understandable). Staff apologized for very late arriving food but without offering anything while we waited. They blamed a large party in front of us but they were pretty inattentive the whole meal (late food, late to clear the table, late with the check). Just expected a little more given a nicer place. Also be aware some publicly available menus from there are old. Their menu is more limited and more expensive than some I found online (the only steak was $64; shrimp and grits $50).

    Our reservation was at 7:30. We arrived early and were seated at the bar until promptly 7:30 when we were seated at our table. We were served water at 7:45, bread and butter at 8:15, meal arrived at our table at 8:45. The waiter stated that they were 1 person short that night. When the food arrived, it looked like it had been sitting under the warmer for awhile. We had been here previously. It appears as though the menu selections have been reduced from our previous visit. This visit was so bad that not only will we not come back, but the couple that we invited will not be returning either.

    Was able to make a reservation for 10am for my friends birthday brunch. But also wanted to check out the space in a casual manner as a potential wedding venue for 2024. We were not welcomed warmly. We were told breakfast ended at 10 am, regardless of having 10am reservations. Told us to find a seat and help ourselves to the buffet. Didnt know it was buffet style as there’s an obvious menu on the website which we were not allowed to order from. We had to get up and find someone to take our drink order For the first 10 mins we are there the staff is openly complaining that we are there and having to take care of us instead of being able to clean up the buffet We had to pay full price for a Buffett that was on the brink of being shut down as we are walking in. With that said, wasn’t a full buffet. Just disappointed. Was looking forward to a nice brunch for my friend plus seeing if the spot would be a good spot for a wedding except showed up to the most unwelcoming brunch experience of my life.

    A wonderful dining experience from start to finish. Snapper & Scampi along with Caesar, Crab bisque and “Corleone” dessert were all fabulous. Pricing very much inline given the level of service, quality and presentation. Met every expectation!

    We've been here 4 times now. The food is always amazing. Perfect atmosphere dining outside near the beach. We come here every time we are in Destin. We have never had anything but great food and great experience.

    Outstanding food and service in a quiet , romantic setting . Highly recommend the snapper . Most entrees are around $60 which is expensive but at least the food is freshly prepared and excellent quality .

    Really great location with a wonderful view. Peaceful and elegant location for a meal. The food was decent. Two of us ordered the filets which were great, one person ordered the tuna and that was also stellar. The fourth person in our party ordered the snapper which was extremely salty. The service was sub par given that it’s a white tablecloth establishment. Our waiter, maybe checked on our table 4-5 times throughout the duration of our meal and that included bringing the drinks, appetizers, and meals out ; as well as taking the orders. We finished our meals and sat there for some time before anyone checked on us. When he did arrive we asked for the check and he completely ignored the request and suggested dessert. Perhaps we did not fit the look of the patrons to which they are accustomed.

    It has indoor seating (air conditioned ) and out door seating. It is located on the beach just a short walk from the Henderson. It has a Beautiful view, wonderful food and great service!! The smoked fish dip, beef filet and risotto were amazing!

    My wife and I have been coming to the Destin area over 20 years. Beachwalk Cafe is one of our top favorite places to enjoy a great dining experience. The ambience, scenery, and quality of food are about the best you’ll find anywhere in the gulf coast area.  I highly recommend!

    Second time to eat here. First time in 5 years or so. Unfortunately, it will probably be my last. I was really looking forward to it, but very disappointed in food and service for a premium price. I usually don’t leave reviews, but this place has had a significant drop off from years ago. Maybe I caught them on a “bad night”, but bisque was watered down. Tuna was tasty but over cooked and just floating in soy sauce. Fish was too salty. Wine selection was poor. The lone positive is the setting/view. Doesn’t get much better!

    Excellent food and service. Beautiful location. My only negative is a disappointing wine list. One must make do with a $40-50 bottle or pick a great wine $125 and up. It would be nice to have more choices in the mid-price range of $60-70.

    We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary at the Beach Walk Cafe on July 30th. The atmosphere was very serene and pleasant. The hostess was very accommodating when we asked about a seating preference. The excellent Grouper Vince was our entree of choice and we highly recommend it. We appreciated the attentiveness of our waitress and her very enjoyable personality. Our experience dining here was Five-Star! Bill and Tammie

    We had the fish ceviche, asparagus and corn risotto and the ahi tuna and they were all awesome. The key lime pie was huge, one slice is enough for 4 people! The wine selection was not as good as we were hoping and everything was very pricey

    This is a lovely spot on the water inside the resort. The food was delicious although a little pricey. Fried chicken was $40 lol but it was good and my son ate every bite. The fresh seafood was all yummy and our waitress was great. It did take almost an hour from the time we sat down to get our entrees that would really be the only complaint I have.
