Beach Walk Café, known as the “Most Romantic Dining Experience in Destin,” is located inside the Henderson Park Inn where guests enjoy unobstructed views of the Gulf overlooking more than a mile of the world’s most beautiful and secluded beaches with spectacular sunset views.

In this idyllic private setting Beach Walk Café features an intimate atmosphere with dining available inside, with a cozy fireplace and magnificent views of the coast and outside on the verandas of the Inn overlooking the emerald waters of the Gulf. We had a delightful dinner and were able to sit with friends. The location and intimacy with the beach were bonuses, but the food was exquisite. We all had seafood and salads with one of our favorite wines from California, Sand Point. Our server was from Hungary and so attentive and delightful with recommendations and conversation. Awesome dinner.

The front hostess was exceptional. I have dined here for my anniversary 9 years in a row. This place has always been our destination spot. Last night was incredibly disappointing. After being seated, we were not greeted again for 30 mins before I had to ask for service. It appeared the server took issue with that and came to our table unprofessional and not in the normal Henderson park guest service experience. He was so rude we left our table and decided to not dine at this beautiful venue.

We have eaten here several times and love this place. Yesterday we arrived at 6:30 and was seated promptly withe server coming by and taking our drink order while we were waiting on our guest. We all received our drinks and informed the server we were going to visit awhile before worded. Twenty minutes later we were needing another drink and waiter still had not come cack to check on us. I saw him at the table behind us and got his attention, he came over and we ordered another drink, we had to wave him down to order food. we ordered food and after 30 mins finally had to ask the manager where our door was. Very poor service for a $160 bill for two people. Not sure we will be going back with service like the. Side note, the restaurant only has 10 to 15 tables for seating. That should not cause a problem getting prompt service for the prices they are charging. We are retired and eat out 6 night a week. This is the first time I have ever wrote a review up. That should tell you what I thought about the experience.

I was worried this would be just an overpriced resort restaurant. While it was expensive, the food was very good and the service was great. Only downside was parking is limited if you are not staying at the very expensive hotel connected to the restaurant.

Overall I gave 4 stars because at first it was very loud due to a table of very loud and obnoxious people. Once they left the ambiance was much better. The food was just ok for me.

We sat outside and enjoyed a spectacular sunset from the porch. Our service was top-notch & we really had a great experience. My cocktail (Hugo Spritz) was delicious & even tho the wine-by-the-glass menu is not extensive….there is something for everyone. My pecan/grouper with potato cake & green beans was only outshined by the gigantic chocolate brownie dessert. I highly recommend this upscale & unique Destin gem.
