   I live close to the restaurant and I am keen to promote and support local restaurants. I used to use the restaurant when it was Hooked on the Rocks. I decided to take to some friends to the restaurant and booked for 4 people. I called in to the restaurant prior to visiting later in the day and picked up a menu. We all perused the menu and the general consensus was that the menu was not very appealing. If it we not so late in the day we would have cancelled the table. Please change the menu. Please don't serve over prices oven chips.

   A very pleasant evening, our waitress was fun and attentive. Thought the food was delicious but quite pricey.

   No on site parking but there is a public car park 100 yards down the hill. The restaurant wasn't busy. we were sat in the middle of the room but the view was obscured by the seat design and height of the banquette seating. we were located with the white wine fridge behind my seat which was difficult for the staff to access. the food was acceptable but nothing special. Scallops over cooked, pasta stoggy, and charged extra £3, for two small slices of bread.

   Awful experience after years of enjoying the previous owners known as Hooked on the Rocks. If you want to wait 45 mins to be served by miserable staff, receive mediocre food and listen to crap music - this is the place for you!

   The location and food were lovely. The prices were very high though for a very relaxed dining experience eg side of veg £8.

   Great restaurant, good food, amazing view. For the price, you would hope to be able to spend a nice moment together and hear each other talking. The loud (and not so good) music makes it a challenge. After a while, you want to leave to escape the noise. They will not lower the music even if you ask. Ideal if you plan to get drunk and conversation does not matter so much anyway, load up the wallet!

    Service and food were both very good, portion sizes a little on the small side though. I do think it is slightly overpriced for value. At maybe 2/3 of the price I would be happier to give 5 stars instead of the four.
