BC Kitchen - Parq Vancouver
BC Kitchen is a restaurant go to for inventive comfort foods. With an approachable, fun spirited ambiance, guests will enjoy local favorites with a twist. BC Kitchen will also have an extensive bar featuring a range of local, regional and international beer, craft cocktails and wine by the glass. This will be the premier casino social destination pre-and post events.
My corned beef sandwich was super dry. My friend was told her dish wasn’t spicy but it was. Disappointed with both orders. AND we had to pay $25 to park to have mediocre food.
The seating is challenging and the noise level for sporting events is a little excessive. The noise from the Casino that is!
It took 10 minutes after we were seated for anyone to realize we were there. Then we waited a very long time just to get water, our drinks, and our meals. My meal was served well before my husband..who had to wait another 10 minutes until his meal arrived. We chose the restaurant because of its proximity to BC Place as we were attending a concert. There are too many other great places to eat nearby....avoid this one!
So close to sky train and stadium! No need to bring a car into the downtown to attend any event. Super staff at BC Kitchen. We added 1 more person to our table last minute and they took care of us.
Went for bite before concert , appetizers served within 20 min BUT we waited 50 min for a turkey & beef burger , my fries cold didn’t even eat and hubby upgraded to yam fries , not served with his burger he had to wait additional 10 min for yam fries , manager said sorry were busy , BUT you are in the casino , next to BC Place Stadium & Rogers arena , it must be not unusual for you to be busy during concerts , game days , all events ? Burgers were good our server was friendly, but what’s happening in the kitchen??
Party of 4 had a reservation for 5:00pm before the Paul McCartney concert, we were there waiting in line as the hostess seated walk-ins first. Once seated it took 15 mins to take our drink and food order. It took 40 mins to get our drinks, we never got our food as we walked out after waiting an hour.
left a review on facebook. This was an awful experience.
I was very disappointed with BC Kitchen. Even coming into the Casino, the greeter tried to steer us away. I had reservations when they were totally unnecessary. We planned to come to BC Kitchen as I read reviews that they show UFC fights and other sports. I asked the server if she would change one of the channels to a FREE UFC fight on TSN. She said she could not, and if we wanted to watch anything other than what was showing, we had to sit outside in the lounge area but then a manager still had to approve of the change. Where we sat was very difficult to see any TV's at all. The food ranged from bad to good. Stay away from edamame hummus. Their happy hour specials are really just portioned downed food so you think you're saving money but you're just getting much less than their full orders. No good drink specials. Everything was just a tad bit overpriced for what we're used to getting when comparing to a place like Match Eatery in Langley. On top of this, we had to pay for parking when I read Valet Parking was originally free. I don't think we'll be back to BC Kitchen anytime soon.
It was so good
The prime ribs were over done as usual. The waiter was nice and attentive.
The restaurant Manager was not friendly and rude about the “Free” popcorn. There wasn’t any sign specifics for the Bar customers only. No management training on customer services in food industry.
At the end of the day, how much does the popcorn cost?
I don’t understand why our group wasn’t allow to have the popcorn too since my group
had spent our money on both alcohol & food.
Best service from our server Nathan he helped out so much, Our event happened to be our engagement party! So he made it super special for us! BIG THANKS TO THE SERVER NATHAN AT BC KITCHEN
The prime rib had been a little bit over done for a medium rare steak twice.
Food wasn't hot enough.
Food was great, I got the pizza and a buddy got the burger. We both liked our meal. While our server was very nice and always answered our question, the drinks were slow and I drank my buddy’s water because I never got a refill. Other than the lack of water great experience. I would totally go back.
There were 2 of us and we got nachos and a pizza to share. The pizza was decent, not enough sauce in my opinion. The nachos definitely needed more cheese, there was barely any on there. They pile up the chips so it looks really good, but its just a decoy. Their dessert (churros) was really good. I'd come back for those, but not sure if I'll be back for dinner.
The service was poor. The food wasn’t great I wouldn’t go back there again
Took over 30 minutes to get first drink and orders taken / food was another hour. Gladly the food, when it arrived, was amazing.
Fairly standard sports bar atmosphere. Service was okay, however they didn't go out of their way or add any value to the experience. Had the BCK burger and while it was quite flavourful, the burger itself was a bit dry. The fish and chips were very good according to my wife. All in all, not a bad place, but didn't stand out to me.
We thought we were going for the “dine out”. Only reason we booked was we liked the menu.. When we arrived we were told it wasn’t available as it had stopped a couple of days previously, according to the manager.. We ordered off the regular menu It was just ok. The server was excellent but the manager didn’t bother even checking back in with us even although he knew we were disappointed..
Went here for pre game drinks & food. We arrived a few minutes before the game day happy hour was supposed to start but they let us order anyways. Buffalo cauliflower was so good I ordered another bowl. And for $6 the burger was impressive. Service and atmosphere was great. Felt like I was transported to a fun Vegas lounge briefly. Will definitely be back!
Great starters and burgers!
Dine out Vancouver offering was very nice. 3 course meal for $25, the food was excellent, the staff was very friendly and courteous. The décor is open style with lots of windows and high ceilings, there are a lot of tvs with sports on them, but the sound is off and the rock music playing is not loud. The noise from the slot machines doesn't intrude much, and the place was clean and well-run. Will be back!
Came for the dine-out 2019 menu. Absolutely delicious and great value for the food I had. I found the desserts mediocre compared to the savoury items. Still good, but compared to how delicious the main course was these were just "meh". Quite loud inside as well. I could hear across the table but it was slightly uncomfortable.
Great place to grab something to eat and drink before a Canucks game.
We did not stay. The noise was overwhelming so we cannot really give a review on any of the questions asked
We made a reservation at 5:00 pm after a 1:00 pm Canucks game . We ended up early but they were able to to accommodate us no questions asked. Very friendly.Definitely go again.
Outstanding service by friendly staff members. Food was quite good, just a bit on the salty side for us.
Went out for a girls night and the service was exceptional!! We had an amazing time.
We were with a large group. Good food and good service.
Dear Joel, Thank you for your review and your patronage at BC Kitchen. We are happy to hear you had an enjoyable dining experience. We look forward to welcoming you back soon! Best Regards, Emily Davis Community Relations
I understand that at any given bar, not every Old Fashioned is going to be amazing, and sometimes when it’s busy the mix might be a bit off. BUT.. I was served a very poor Old Fashioned. I can even handle that, but not when it’s $14 while the rest of their cocktails hover around $10-11. At $14 you better make a decent cocktail, and this was one of the worst I’ve ever had. Also had a sort of southwest salad with “spicy buttermilk” dressing. Underwhelming and wouldn't order again, but not a massive fail like the drink. The guiness poutine was pretty tasty.
Restaurant not busy, sat us at a small table. Took forever to get service. Food ordered was 3 smoked meat sandwiches on rye. Came out without mustard. After waiting to flag down server, she said was supposed to come on the side. She delivered the plates, she should have noticed. How were we supposed to know that? Took forever to get the mustard. Took forever to get our bill. Won’t be back.
Encore Rewards Sunday Prime Rib Night is the best!

Good food , good prices and good service we have been here several times and suggest this place to all of our friends.
Great location pre-BC Lions game with family! Reservation highly recommended on game nights!
I’m not sure if it was just a one off but the service was really bad the night we went. Our reservations were for 4:15 pm on a Saturday. We were seated promptly but waited for 20 minutes for someone to even come and take our drink order. The restaurant was only 1/2 full at this time. After asking 3 times, we finally had someone take our order. We then waited 15 minutes for someone to bring our drinks. We could see the drinks sitting at the bar but our waitress was no where to be found. The food came quickly and was very good. Our waitress did not come to see if we need anything else or wanted drink refills. When it was time to pay our bill, our orders were all mixed up and we had to write on a piece of paper our order so the waitress could fix it. There were 4 servers on in our section that we counted...so lack of service should have not been an issue. I believe this could be a great place to go if they had better service.
The $15 Sunday Prime Rib special for Encore Rewards members is a great deal.
We miss the old menu! We've been here a few times so we thought we knew what to expect but we were wrong... The calamari doesn't come with sashito peppers anymore, the double burger has pulled pork on it now and there's no more poached egg on the salad that comes with the grilled ham and cheese. For us, these menu changes made our visit disappointing. Other than that, the food, sevice and ambiance we're fine.
I have never received such horrible service in my life, server repeatedly ignored us and was incredibly slow despite the fact the restaurant was not busy. Would never recommend or return.
Food and service was good
