B.B. King's Blues Club - Orlando Ratings and Reviews
Despite reservations for our anniversary, we were seated toward the back with no view of the entertainment while better tables were available. My husband got our table changed. Service was friendly, but slow. Food was acceptable, but portions were small for the price paid. Food read better on the menu than it actually tasted. It was disappointing. Entertainment was the only enjoyable thing about the evening.
Horrible we were first sat at a small table that couldnt fit us. I made reservation for a table that was away from others, I was sat right in the middle. They had a whole upstairs section that no-one sat in. After requesting a bigger table, the server takes our drink order and the drinks are high priced with a dap of cheap alcohol. At this point we just decided to have an appetizer because the menu has PORK, PORK, PORK on it. I had to keep telling the server we need napkins, straws ect..I live in Orlando and I could have went to the Chillis by my house and had better food and service...THIS IS MY FIRST AND LAST TIME VISITING B.B KINGS ORLANDO
Atmosphere was amazing - great music provided by the BB King Allstar Band. The food and cocktails were great. The bourbon glazed ribeye was absolutely wonderful. The service was adequate. The only real negative was that the tables seemed too close together.
i clicked on the unsucribe link by mistake, please suscribe my account back and i would like to recieve emails again. We had a wonderful time and will go back soon. The staff was wonderful and the food is great..The band was awesome and we really enjoyed it all!
Our group tried some new menu items this time around. As with everything Kings servers they were excellent. I had the ribs, both Memphis dry rub and original. They were fall off the bone delicious. Kings has some of the best BBQ sauce in town. My wife had the half chicken meal which was super juicy and flavorful. My buddy's wife had the ribeye steak. It was perfectly cooked and the "butter" fat melted in your mouth. If you like corn bread do yourself a favor and order a side of muffins. They will blow your mind!
On top of all of the wonderful food, Kings has some great live music at night. This is one of my favorite places in town to eat and have a good time.
Wonderful! Had a celebration with 12 guest, 4 adult 8 teenagers they were able to accommodate all of us. We were seated right next to the stage and the band was so interactive that it really gave that personal touch. The Memphis Wings were a group favorite and best nacho starter around. The band sounded phenomenal! Our teens were dancing during both the band performance and the DJ'd intermission. It really fit both generations and left lasting memories.
Its okay as a club atmosphere. They need to let you know in advance when making reservations that they #1 charge a cover charge at the door. #2 don't hold true reservations, although we were on time for out"reservation"we still had no table reserved for us and could wait until one became available (which the hostess said"i can't tell you how long people are going to stay so I don't know what to tell you." We ended up eating at the bar which I absolutely HATE AT ANY RESTAURANT. Then we had to chase down our food being taken to other tables. They need to train their staff to provide great customer service because the visit will not be that cheap for the service and food you get. Go elsewhere, it's not worth it.
The music is always excellent, but the food not so much - unless you define quality in terms of amount of food. The portions of everything are huge, and everything on the menu is of the "unhealthy" fried, heavy, southern type food. I was looking for something a bit light and/or healthy and couldn't find a thing. My husband ordered the nacho appetizer. It was fit for four people and mounded with alot of things....including bar-b-Q sauce...yuck.
Janelle the waitress was very rude and condescending; she made rude sarcastic remarks towards us. It was our first time going to BB Kings and despite our rude waitress it won’t be the last time either. The music was great; the atmosphere and food was amazing we had a blast!! I can’t wait to go back hopefully Janelle won’t be our waiter …….
I did not go thinking it was going to be all it was cracked up to be. I have been to a lot of over-hyped restaurants and I have to I was impressed. The live music was the star of the attraction. The music was amazing, the food was great, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Most of all, I am glad that my mother enjoyed her mothers day here.
The food was great but the customer service for this particular location left more to be desired. The music was very upbeat but a bit loud, made it difficult to carry a conversation indoors. Asked to be relocated outside and received no service. I would go back there again- at least once more- to see if my 1st experience was a one time thing or not.
This venue sits in a well attended, high end shopping and restaurant complex. Great for tourists and for locals as well. Excellent house band (blues trio) and then a high quality, energetioc, very danceable large R& B, soul music ensemble. Service (Mike) excellent. Food pretty good for this type of place. Catfish bites appetizer stole the show, but ribs were commendable as well. Hush puppies suffered from dryness and lack of a dipping sause. Beer cold, mixed drinks very weak. Turnoff was a $5 cover charge to get in. Understandable if not eating, but there should be a system taking that charge off your bill if you do have dinner. Our party of four spent close to $200. Decent value, but cover charge seems chintzy. Would go again
We have been to BB Kings in Memphis and it was awesome. While we enjoyed our time at BB Kings in Orlando, we thought the music was terrible. Individually, the musicians were great, but for some reason when they played together they were terrible. When many many more people dance to the piped in music than the band music, that tells you something. It is usually the other way around. Plus they played rock n roll, not rhytm and blues. We had a great time, because we danced our heads off (we will dance to anything) and drank lots of their BB King brew. I would still recommend anyone to go and we will return.
The band was excellent, the vibe was excellent, the service was very good, my overall impression was I loved the place and would definitely go back again when I'm in Orlando.I don't think that you can raise the dining experience any higher than it is. My expectations were not to enjoy a five star meal and they were met with a very good meal that was served in a hot blues joint venue. I think you're food is right in line with the atmosphere and I would not expect more than what I got.
Keep up the great work and I'll see you when I come back to town
As usual BB King's did not disappoint us! We have been there before & LOVE the place! The music was some of the best blues around. We were there for my 12yr old daughter's band competition & she loves blues & jazz so this was her first trip to BB's. The Shaun Rounds Band was AWESOME! If you close your eyes, he sounds just like Stevie Ray Vaughn! He even took a request from my daughter to play "Pride & Joy"! Check who is playing the night you go!! We have seen Beautiful Bobby Blackmon before as well & loved him so much we bought his CD ;)
Service was not even close to the norm for BB's-The only difference was I was using a Restaurant.com certificate which auto adds 18% tip, so she knew that she was getting a tip good or bad service :(
First and foremost, we went there to hear music. The AV system is good. We had a table in front of the stage and did not get our ears blown out. The food portion was large and could be shared between two light weight eaters like me and my wife. The staff was fun and upbeat.
