Bazille - Nordstrom Shops at Merrick Park
Always a good meal at Bazille!
Very savory and delicious food
The new menu has more healthy options, lots of salads.
Loved it! Will certainly go back sometime soon.
Consistently great! so glad you are open again. Thank you!
a renovated Bazille, a real improvement, especially for the noise levels. removal of a wall at the front made a HUGE difference. food continues excellent, love the deviled eggs!
We made an online reservation for Easter lunch on April 21, 2019 at 12:15pm. An email confirmation and reminders were sent through. We were naturally astounded that when we arrived we found the whole of Nordstrom closed. The online booking system was obviously not properly configured to inform patrons of closed dates. Fortunately, we were very lucky to have found an alternative venue nearby. We can not comment on any aspect of the restaurant, which is surely very lovely, but we were certainly not too impressed by the booking failure. We will certainly make another attempt to dine at Bazille, but we’ll confirm through phone confirmation.
Jason, the manager runs a fantastic restaurant! He is efficient, professional, and friendly!
Jason is a great manager!
I like Bazille, it has an excellent kitchen. There is only one point to note: The noise level due to the ceiling construction is too high.
Significant lack of attentiveness and consideration by servers.
Bazille is a gem in Me
I ordered the pan seared chicken , and it was delicious. We usually order the chicken tacos and prosciutto pizza which is always good too. The GM 75 cocktail paired perfectly with the citrus undertones of the pan seared chicken. Great combo. Waiter was nice, polite, and very attentive. This is one of our favorite spots for every day dining 👍🏻.
Great food, great service, professionelle waiter😊👍. Best sangria in town! Would be great if Management invests in a noise reduction ceiling!
Very loud; slow, too-casual service; basic food.
The food is always good. And the menu is clearly marked regarding food allergies/sensitivities. There is always a long lull between when you are seated and when you are asked about drinks. The restaurant is always packed full of small kids. There are so many small kids and Strollers that my teen said it was reminiscent of Disney. His is not the restaurants fault but it creates a disjointed atmosphere are multiple parents are standing, rocking baby or rocking the stroller. Not romantic.
Always a good place to eat lunch at. The crab bisque is too die for as well as the white chocolate bread pudding.
Great food and service. The desserts are to die for.
We are frequent customers, unfortunately this time the food was horrible, kids pasta came cold and uncooked, salmon reheated and dry, they even charged us 4$ per kid’s juice even though the kids menu includes free drinks for kids. Not sure I’ll come back. Definitely the place has gotten worse.
Bazille is great for a lunch or dinner. They've changed the menu a few times- some for the better some not so much. But overall the food consistently taste great. Bring back the old caprese salad please! The server Erwin is the best! Thank you.
Wasnt warned HOW SPICY food would be ! The shrimp in spicy sauce on pasta , HOT !!!!
Great food, excellent sangria- best in town !!!! and excellent service. Just the noise level is a nuisance and should be improved.
I would go back for lunch if I'm shopping. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.
The food was excellent. Yummy sangria too. Great place but sooooo loud!
I wish they didn’t change the menu so much. I don’t like going and finding out that they don’t have my favorites
Very nice lunch, shared French dip sandwich with fries. More than enough for two, good food, and good service.
I loved it
Half roasted chicken special today was fabulous! Pizza is always good too. One of my favorite places for lunch, although don’t go if you are in a rush. Service is slow but good, food is fantastic!!!
Open table accepted our reservation but the restaurant and store were closed!! Then they emailed to criticize me for being a no show!!
Did not like the new menu changes. As a regular Some of old choices should be left untouched. Not sure if I will be returning until menu changes again.
So was really excited and had a craving for this place. However that has quickly dampened. I thought last time was just a path day new chef or new menu that was trying to be introduced to maybe not that successful , However, I was wrong. With every change the menu it seems to be cheaper quality less tasty and smaller portions. I would not mind the smaller portions if it had better quality. The bruschetta has changed to a sure we are crouton would taste more like a canned pesto and lower quality balsamic glaze and oil. Last time my shrimp salad the shrimp or not grilled as they appear to be before or smaller and less in quantity. The gradients also didn’t taste as fresh. This time I tried the chicken tacos which were good and the price was good so I was happy with that. However my most favorite what everybody talks about coming there for which is the bread pudding was so disappointing that will make me not want to go back. It is now like a piece of French toast the raspberry sauce is no longer there nor is the chocolate shavings or side fruit. There are a couple pieces of raspberry which were OK but it did not make up for that watered down version of the sauce that they used to have. It was really disappointing. I must not be the only one thinking this way as I am a Thursday night when it typically would be very busy we were one of only a few parties there. I really hope that the general manager or corporate reads this and take this to heart because I used to love this place I used to crave the bread pudding and salads. Now instead of sitting for a meal I’ll wait to go somewhere else or grab a quick bite from e cafe. Please change back!!!!!’
The food and the ambiance were excellent
Onion soup was very salty. margarita pizza needed more cheese and the new version of bread pudding is very disappointing. Go back to the old one.
Since you know I dined at Bazille on 5/23, please award my 100 points.
Our waiter was great, but it took 20 minutes to greet us at our table, and there were only a few tables....food was fine....expensive!
Place was very full. We barely saw our waiter for the duration of the time we were there. We had to stop several other waiters walking by to get whatever we needed. Overall the food was delicious but the service wasn’t so great.
We were there for a late lunch and in a bit of a time crunch. It took over 5 minutes before our waitress showed up. We explained we needed to put our order in right away and we did.
Twenty minutes later, the waitress showed up and said, matter of fact ly, sorry, but that our order was not placed in properly, so she had to take our order all over again. We gave her our order, again, and got our meal about 15-20 minutes after that, as I got my salad and then my husband’s chicken dinner came five minutes after my meal.
No one came over and apologized or offered us anything in the meantime. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a Nordstrom restaurant. One star is too much to give that experience.
Food is prepared with the freshest ingredients. Salads are delicious. However, my favorite is their pizzas. Superior taste.
Bazille is very reliable and the quality of its food is always good and consistent. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We enjoy our stay every time we go there for lunch. The experience would be outstanding if Managemen would invest in a system to lower the noise level which I guess is so high due to the high ceiling and no noise reduction material has been installed.
Manager Jason super great and solved the eating idiosyncrasies of our friends !
