Located in the heart of Little Italy, Baz Bagel & Restaurant has been a cherished NYC dining institution for over a decade. Family owned and operated by Bari Musacchio and Saralyn Feinberg, Baz Bagel is celebrated for its nostalgic diner-style charm, and hand-rolled, kettle-boiled bagels capturing quintessential NYC start to the day. Beyond bagels, Baz is known for classic diner breakfasts, like potato latkes, Challah French toast, matzoh ball soup and it's famous Pizza Bagel!
This year, Baz was proud to be highlighted in local icon NY Nico's Guide to NYC as well as the NY Times' Best Bagels! From hosting NY Fashion Week events and iconic magazine photo shoots to bartending Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live (WWHL), Baz is no stranger to NYC's cultural pulse. We’ve lived in the area for 31 years and never knew about Baz. This was our first time. Loved it. Now we will be regulars.

A very cute and intimate place with only a handful of tables and a long counter. The classic Jewish deli food is terrific, I wish we had ordered more of it. The service was a little rushed as our waitress was dealing with some problem with another table, so things took a little bit longer then maybe they could have, but it wasn't really that bad, and it was just one of those things that happen. We really enjoyed ourselves and would suggest if you want some classic deli in a cute setting this is the place for you. Make a reservation as it was completely full.

Do you love BARBRA? So does Baz Bagels! O.G. icons like Dolly Parton, Bette Middler and of course Babs are celebrated in the pink and palm tree'ed decor. It's such a super-fun, cute place it makes you wonder why other bagel places are so boring and blah. The "avocado toast" style bagel is amazing -- we loved the watermelon radish garnish in Baz's signature pink, too.

Took my tween for Sunday brunch. We are new fans. Food was amazing. I'm in love with the horseradish beet cream cheese. My daughter's banana honey milkshake was a hit. I would go back just for that. Super cute space and great service. We will happily return.

Absolutely loved my visit to Baz! The decor is absolutely adorable, the waiters were so nice, and the food was delicious!

Loved our waitress! The lady with the coffee cup tattoo... she was awesome. The food was phenomenal, this place is a true gem.

Our food took over an hour to come out of the kitchen and when it came out, every dish was cold. We overheard the waitress tell another table that the kitchen was having problems (after we had already been waiting for 30-45 minutes), but we were never told this while we waited or given a choice to order a cold dish. The restaurant is very cute and assume it would have been good on a different day, but would have expected better service and transparency when they were dealing with a kitchen issue.
