    It was absolutely fabulous. Great food great service, great atmosphere, price was right. Highly recommend! Easy parking, food came quickly, beer was cold.(The last one was most important).

    The food was outstanding. The salmon was the best salmon I’ve ever had in a restaurant (moist and not dry at all). Our appetizers were generous and plentiful. The atmosphere was casual to business casual and just open, airy and nice. But THE BEST part was our server, Jennifer. She was witty, fun-loving, entertaining, talented and just fun. Highly recommend!

    OK so it’s not gourmet fare, but the food is VERY good, well prepared and thoughtfully presented. An excellent martini, also. Service was also excellent by Julie. Great view of the lake. Next time in Erie, will go back.

    Great food. Staff is great except food comes out very slow. We had dinner and breakfast there and was over an hour to get food. But I understand they are probably short staffed.

    I reserved a table for five for lunch. We came in two different groups: the first group was seated at our table outside as per our requested reservation, the second group was told there was no reservation, and no more seating outside, and were given an inside table. It took us 15 minutes to realize that we were all there but just divided by a wall. It must have been shift change, sort of hectic. Our waiter was very personable, and helpful (5 stars for the waiter). The menu was fortunately marked V, VG, and GF which was appreciated, but there was only one VG/GF dish on the menu! A salad! A world renowned hotel/restaurant chain, and only one gluten free entry, no non-animal protein, and even the french-fries were coated with gluten! Most cities of this size have done a much better job of helping those on whole-food plant-based diets. Healthy meals can be so simple, but so hard to find.

    If you are going for the view, then the Bayfront Grille is the place to go. If you want your food and drinks served quickly, then this is not the place to go. Waitress came over quickly to get my tables drink and meal order. It took 20 minutes for our drinks to come to the table. Our reservation was at 745pm ended up getting served our main entree at 9pm. Waitress was lovely and again the view and sunset was amazing. Bayfront Grille needs to work on how long it takes for the drinks, salad, and main course to be served.

    Slightly over rated , I would say very good, but not exceptional as per open table rating . That being said, I have mostly lived in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia and comparing this restaurant to the average of pitt and Philly .

    The view is nice. Right on the water. Fir an appetizer had bruschetta. It was horrible, very sweet and lemony. The cheese wasn't even tasty. Had a couple of bites and did not eat the rest. Waitress took it off the bill as so many people hated it, but the chef won't listen Burger was good, fries had a weird after taste. Spanish salad was excellent. Ordered parmesian fries but kitchen messed ip

    Special dinner for us with moderate results. Salmon dinner overcooked. Most problematic were: When I requested bread or a roll with our dinner, was informed we would need to purchase a bread plate appetizer for $5. Plate of breads were far more than 2 people needed. Who does this? Had requested preferred seating due to anniversary. Initially perfect indoor table for two looking out over the patio and lake. Then they sat four people and raised an umbrella on the other side of the window. We were then about 18” apart from the group and without the view. Restaurant not overly busy while there.

    Beautiful time with my girlfriend and the perfect dinner date. I recommend to all family and friends for a great dinner and experience at the Bayfront Grille. This is my third time eating there and each time has improved on the greatness scale. Our server, James, was excellent. Very efficient and caring but also relayed advice on drinks and entrees. Highly recommend James for other dinner dates.

    We had a reservation on the patio. It was a lovely night. There was live music, a soft jazz group. Service was prompt and efficient. Really no complaints, except my mahi mahi was over-cooked but still flavorful. Overall, a good experience.

    Our family had the most perfect dinner experience at the Bay Front Grill. We were out on the Paddio watching the bay go by, had a marvelous server, Amaria, who took our order, with several personal diet needs in stride. The food was marvelous with special kudos to the Shrimp Cocktail, the Salmon, with wonderful Brussel Sprouts, and the Mahi Mahi , with barley as part of the Mahi Mahi dish. The manager spoke with us very cordially and suggested that if we knew we were coming to the BFG (not the Big Friendly Giant but the Bayfront Grill) a day before we could call in our dietary needs with the reservation! All in all a wonderful evening.

    It was a good night. Our waitress was amazing. The view was nice but we tried to be there for sunset and the view was a little bit of a let down. The bugs got crazy after there was no sun. The food was good but portions were small.

    Very flavorful food, including the shrimp and grits, and the Caesar salad. The calamari appetizer is one of the best you’ll find. Overall a good value and you cannot beat the water side location.

    Lovely outside dining but I would suggest trying to mitigate intense sun in evening in some way. Food very mediocre but waitress was delightful. Other hosting staff seemed stressed and therefore not as welcoming and friendly. Music was mellow and just the right volume so one could have a conversation without straining to hear. And setting looking over the lake and its activities was wonderful.

    Dinner was OK not great. Had the pork chop which was totally unseasoned but tender and juicy. My wife had the chicken pasta which was good. Very light sauce and a bit of heat. The total turnoff was our waitress added a 30% tip to the bill, never told us, but assumed it was due to our using the Fine dining card. Very disappointing.
