Come join the 400-600 people every Wednesday in our outdoor event Pavilion for a bar, bbq, dancing and a GREAT time-all right on the water’s edge, Every Wednesday (Memorial Day through Labor Day). We keep the party going all winter long- every Wednesday outside of Labor Day-Memorial day, join us in the Bay Pointe Bar & Grille for live jazz, vocals, piano, or guitar from some very talented musicians.     Very good service as soon as we entered. We were 15 minutes early and still got right in. At the table my husband mentioned it was my birthday and they surprised me with two chocolate covered strawberries and Happy Birthday written in strawberry sauce. Nice way to end the meal.

    We have gone to Bay Pointe Inn for dinner many times, but it has been over a year since we last had dinner there. Overall, the quality is still excellent. Our food was very good, the new patio and additional indoor space is great. Our server, Leslie, was polite, friendly, and attentive. Our only criticism of the restaurant is the limited wine selection. We remember that there was an extensive selection of wines, including the malbec and rioja varieties that we enjoy drinking. You will keep us coming back if you broaden your wine selection, across the board.

    Any time I can dine near water is awesome. And Bay Pointe has an awesome view of Gun Lake. The food is delicious. The wait staff friendly. What more can you ask for!

    We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary- wasn’t acknowledged or given dessert like we have in the past. We chose bay pointe this year because we wanted that same amazing experience to celebrate and it was far from it. Prosecco I ordered was super warm and tasted flat, for $9 it wasn’t worth it and was disappointed.

    Having had a challenged service experience visiting on a Saturday night during the tourist season we opted for a weekday lunch with out-of-town visitors. Excellent service and food. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. My wife got the grouper sandwich and I got the Hawaiian grilled chicken sandwich and it's a pretty good bet we'd both order those again - very tasty and the warm seasoned potato chips were perfect with the dishes. My only recommendation is to add a protein-based vegan option or two to the menu (besides just a salad, hold the cheese). So many people eat this way now and it's challenging to have one guest that feels out of place when choosing places to eat.

    We are occasional patrons since we live approximately 20 minutes away, but I can say I don't recall a bad experience. The staff is attentive overall, which is a rarity in our area the past couple of years. The grounds are spectacular as well.

    Eating out on the patio looking out over the lake was beautiful and we had great food and service. Highly recommend the fish tacos. My dad had a very specific preference for his martini and the bartender crafted it to a tee, dad was so happy. Only item I wish they would add are cappuccino or other specialty coffees.

    After 10 summers in the area we finally got to this restaurant. The reviews from friends over those years was up and down. I'll cut to the chase: we had a 6:45pm Saturday evening seating during a very busy vacation time. The place was packed, and every server was hustling. Water came quickly and then at least a 10 min wait before drinks and appetizer order was taken. It then took at least 20 minutes before the drinks and the bread came out, and another long stretch before the app was delivered. The food/drink: I got the white sangria, which was okay but not memorable. The pear martinin was tastier. We got the trio of dips (asiago, smoked whitefish, red pepper hummus) - the dips (esp the whitefish) and chips were perfect. For dinner we both got the perch dinner, which was really good. The cilantro-lime slaw was featured on this and several other dishes, so expectations were high. It really tasted just like a bunch of chopped up cabbage with a sprinkling of cilantro. There was no mayo or other binder. Overall a positive experience, and our server Emma did and said all the right things during the service. We'll be back, though probably at lunch during the week when we hope to have an opportunity to sit on their beautiful patio area.

    Our food was excellent. Wish our server had been more attentive and that she had at least pretended she wanted to be there. We weren’t offered additional drinks or dessert. You could tell she just wanted us to leave so she could go home. We ended up having to go sit in the bar for another drink and dessert. We come here every year for our anniversary as we got married there. Unfortunately not the best celebration this time.

    Fabulous place to eat. The new menu has some great choices. Being at a table on the outside porch is super nice. You get the air from outside but are in the shade.

    Glad I made a reservation because it was Gun Lake Live night…not happy that I had to park across the street… the main parking lot had spaces and the guys monitoring said they were saved for dining reservations… which I had and they never asked… they told me that I should have said something but I wasn’t given an opportunity! Thank goodness for Leslie, the best wait staff ever!!! She is sooo good at what she does and everything was perfect. The food was excellent even though it was busy it all came out better than expected. The dining room was buzzing and I think a few less tables up near the bar would be beneficial for any server because it’s a tight squeeze and I could see them struggling to get through…

    Food was good, had lake perch, my wife had the beef tips. Both a little pricey. Service was acceptable. Nice place to spend our gift card for a special occasion.
