We were able to sit on the patio. Our waitress was very attentive and we received our drinks and food in good time. The only thing I suggested to her was that when the hostess seated us she should’ve told us that it was cash only due to the power outage and that the machines were not working. I had to find an ATM to get cash. But we should have been advised of this by the hostess.

Apps took 45 min to arrive. The tray it came was dirty. Old piece of chicken and residue was stuck at the bottom of the tray when the dish didn’t include any chicken (the tri dip was ordered). As for the main course. I ordered chicken carbonara and the chicken was extremely dry and the piece of toast that accompanied the dish was horribly burnt.

Wasn’t overly impressed. The food was lacking flavour and the temperature was off. Was charged 9$ for virgin drinks. The server was wonderful but the lack of flavour and expense will not be having us back again. A dinner at the keg was less expensive and the food is of much better quality

Service good, only half the menu available. Waiter kept returning to the table that selection ran out, Steak, Lamb, Mussels we ended up eating hamburgers. I can go to McDonalds for that.

Food was amazing and hot and tasty. Server Rob, was fantastic, great sense of humour, pleasant, treated all of us so pleasantly, including our grandkids who sat at seperate table. He was fantastic. We have been coming to Baxters Landing for about 2 years absolutely love the atmosphere. Thanks for making my birthday a great success. thanks again The Treloars.

I use to go to Baxters quite often and was always extremely happy with the food and service. We went to celebrate a birthday yesterday. The menu has changed not enough options on it like before. I asked about the roast potatoes but since the menu change they don't have just potatoes anymore. The food was ok not as good as it use to be.I don't think we will go back. Other restaurants have more options and food is better . Don't change if something was working

We were very dissatisfied with our visit and won’t be back. Put in the reservation it was our anniversary no one mentioned it or cared. Worst part was there were ants crawling on our seat and on the floor. Fruit flies trying to get in the wine. Food took 45 minutes and was cold.

We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Our waitress was new and unfortunately we’re very disappointed in her service. She forgot to bring our appetizer which we had hoped to enjoy with our drinks that we had ordered. So our meals came right away which were very good although my pasta was slightly undercooked. We asked about our appetizer and the waitress was very apologetic and came back saying we would receive a complimentary dessert. We appreciated this gesture and finished our meal. We were not asked if we would like coffee with our dessert and at no point in the meal were our water glasses refilled. We were also not asked if we would like to order another drink. What was meant to be a special dinner out was overall a disappointment and we went home feeling that we will have to go out again as it did not feel like the celebration we had planned.

Food was bland, no seasoning, nothing, wings were over cooked, nachos well what can I say, seemed like they took a can of tomato paste and dumped it ontop the nachos. The place wasn't super busy, yet took 20 min to get ONE drink and longer for apps. The dragon lemonade my wife had was ridiculous refreshing tho!

Our experience on Saturday, April 16th was excellent right from the reception to the superb service by Rachel. The food was delicious and served as advertised. A great night out made even better by our experience at Baxter's Landing at the Oshawa Centre.

Ordered steak for my husband and they brought steak with shrimp. Told them that he can't have it as he is allergic to shrimp. They took the dish back and pretty sure they just cooked the same steak for few more minutes and brought it back. He ordered medium well- the steak was past well done, BURNT!!!. He took one bite and spat it out. He is not a picky eater at all. I did not taste it as the burnt smell of it was intolerable. No apologies from the staff. Spoiled our entire night.

Friends’ French fries were not hot, sent back and remained lukewarm. My friends did not bother saying anything again, did not feel it was worth the effort. The food otherwise was ok. Service was pretty good overall, sometimes not attentive. Had better experiences before disappointed because I suggested the venue to the group.

Always love coming here but our waiter, Rob, made it a great experience the last couple of times. The food is great and every once in a while they change up the menu. The bacon jam and cheddar burger is a must have!

It was good, our waiter was very scattered and nervous, maybe his first time. He got really confused with the bills which was very simple and mentally it was too much for him. We also asked to bring fish tacos as a meal for a guest but it came out as an appetizer so she ate before everyone else and watched us eat. Attention to details would go a long way. Overall we had a good time just really slow from the kitchen.

We ordered nachos since we liked it a previous time we here, but this time the nachos seemed to be missing a lot of melted cheese. Maybe they had a different chef this time or they were rushed.
