Best Steakhouse in Vegas !
Had high hopes for this restaurant based on reviews. Both my husband and I ordered the $85 aged bone-in rib eye steak. You would think paying $85 for a steak, that it'd be a really good steak, but it was one of the worst steaks we've had in Vegas, and we live here and eat out at fine dining restaurants every weekend. Both of our steaks were full of silver skin and gristle, and you couldn't hardly get a bite of the steak that you didn't have to pull out of your mouth because you couldn't chew it. My steak was ordered medium (pink in the middle I was told) and it came very rare. I would have sent it back, but the waitress didn't come back to our table for 10 minutes and we were seeing the Bruno Mars show and couldn't wait around for it. Their wedge salad is very good and was the highlight of our meal, and it's large enough to share with yummy bacon on it!
And can I just say, what's with the lighting?! It is so dark in there that you cannot read the menu. While in the restroom, a bunch of people were laughing about how dark it is and how hard it is to see anything at all, and one person couldn't see the restroom sign and had to get better directions to it as she had missed it. I get that you're going for ambiance, but come on, there is a limit what the human eye can see without light! Put a few lights on so people don't have to use the little lamps on their table or turn on their cell phone lights to see their menus!
I liked the feel of the place, and I think with a few tweaks, they could be a great restaurant, but as of now, they are missing the mark for such an expensive place.
The food was spectacular and the service was even better. We enjoyed our meal with no feeling of being rushed and the food was so delicious.
Had a great Dinner date with my husband, staff was on spot with the service.
Food was great. Drinks that were recommended were great. We would tell
Anyone visiting Las Vegas to have dinner here.
Food was delicious but my steak was undercooked. When they brought it back, the edges were completed burnt, hard, dry, and inedible. They gave me a 20% discount off the check but, id rather just have had the steak cooked right the first time so i dont have to waste food and enjoy it at the same time as my date.
For a location that is "$$," i was a little dissappointed. Other than that, the sides were excellent, my date was happy with his steak, and like the other reviews say, the crab cake was great.
Excellent food and waiter Randall, did an outstanding job !!Thanks again
Reserved a table for two. Was unfortunately placed in arguably the least desired location (between two other two-seated-tables in a booth). That being said, the experience was great. Our server (can't remember her name) was a delight. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection. And the manager offered us a complimentary desert and drink due to our wait time. That's the kicker though... The wait wasn't long at all. Nice ambiance and pleasant experience overall for Valentine's day dinner. Would recommend.
I visited Bavette’s in Chicago years ago and remembered it as one of the best meals I ever had. The Las Vegas experience was comparable if I forget the unloaded baked potato that tasted as though it had sat for hours. The server recommended garlic shrimp was exceptional and our rib-eye and filet were perfected. The entire experience however was mired by the 2 hour plus delay between the appetizers and entrees.
Have had appetizers and drinks at the bar several times and the food and service was amazing. Went to dinner for Valentine’s Day for the dining experience and was disappointing. If I hadn’t had such good experiences at the bar in the past my review would probably be lower. Will go back to the bar as the service cocktails and appatizers is a much better experience at 1/3 the cost.
Very good service and ambiance. Took a while for the entreés to come out. Decent price for a 45 day dry aged steak. Old fashion with Hibiki was great. Will come back to try the seafood, more steak, and to get the elote again.
Food was excellent, service was top notch. Good drinks. Classy atmosphere.
It was their first Valentines Day dinner since opening. Needless to say, we never received our entrees. They did comp the wine but we had to leave before the main course arrived, waiting more than 2 hours!
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Our food was good but slow to arrive.
Unfortunately, other than the appetizer, I cannot comment on the food. We gave ourselves a 2-hour window before the concert to be able to enjoy a leisurely steak dinner. The atmosphere seemed great, initially the waiter seemed attentive, and then.... Our waiter was notified that we had concert tickets and claimed that he informed the Chef that the food would be brought to our table as soon as it was ready because of the concert. Everyone was there for the same concert and so they were well aware of the circumstances. One hour later, on Valentine's Day no less, our food failed to arrive. So despite the fact that it was Valentine's Day and we were celebrating a birthday, we had no dinner and had to go to the concert and live off of concession stand food. We asked for the Manager and the manager failed to arrive upon notification. Instead, he waited an additional 6 minutes to come to our table, with a dismissive "Bruno doesn't get on stage until 9:15". We paid for our drinks and a wonderful steak tartare, and left so we wouldn't miss the concert. It definitely started before 9:15. Not wanting to eat steak in 12 minutes flat with sides, we had no choice but to walk away hungry. The most redeeming quality I can point to is: best. water guy. Ever.
Had to be one of the best meals I have ever had. The steaks were amazing and the sweet potatoe is a must have.
