the food was fantastic as always. it's one of my favorite place for dinner.
The food here is great. Awareness of social distancing measures not so much. In fact I believewe ate there the last night that it was possible. I loved the soft cheese appetizer with roe, but $22 for super fancy yogurt-like stuff seems dubious. Radichio and endive is a very nice salad. The lamb chops we're tasty and tender. We got two desserts, the donuts and the bonbon. I loved them both, but my husband did not. The donuts had a rose flavored cream with them. I must remember to not get the Marius because the apricot is almost unnoticeable.
I truly hope that Bavel reopens soon. Their flavors are so vivid and unique.

Bavel is fine. Nothing to write home about imo. Ambience reminded me of a sports bar rather than a pricey restaurant. Our server had too many tables to look after so the service wasn’t great because of that. It’s yet another expensive LA restaurant which is ok.
Incredible Food, knowledgeable staff guided us through our menu options as my girlfriend is vegan. 10/10 would recommend.

Came for my boyfriend’s bday, did not disappoint per usual. We got the 40oz tomahawk ribeye special, which was absolutely phenomenal. We will be back.
Went with some family that was in town and it was truly fantastic. The quality of the food, the flavors, all cooked to perfection. We all were impressed and it felt more like an event considering how much we all enjoyed it. The service and the ambiance was stellar as well. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to wow their company with.
Food was really good, but the noise level was unbearable. You literally have to scream to be heard. I had to lip read what my friends were saying. I left with a headache from the level of noise.
This was our second time visiting Bavel. We will not be returning due to the fact that they have adopted a 4% surcharge for coverage of health insurance for their employees. We feel that this a VERY SHAMEFUL act of all restaurants that put this onto their patrons instead of digging into their own pockets to cover this expense. If a company values their employees for their hard work they will cover this expense on their own. As a small business owner, I would never think of putting the cost of health insurance onto my customers. If you value your employees this should be a cost the company covers - NOT PATRONS!
