Loved this place. Been several times in the past. Had 9 people with us and the service, atmosphere, fun, our waiter was great! Will be back again and again.
We alway love coming to the Bierhaus. The food and beer selections are perfect.
Food was good, service was good, ambiance had a nice German bier house setting. Was a bit noisy but that was to be expected given the live German music.
The service was very friendly and the food was good!
It was busy Saturday and we understand but it was hard to find our waiter for refills or special needs. It took a longer time than usual to get our food. But all tasted good and it was fun for ages 12-72 in our group.
Good food, great space for groups. Large plates of food.
We enjoyed Bavarian Bierhaus. Great value and a lot of food that was very good. The only item we were not crazy about was the spaetzle. We live in a Bavarian town in Washington state and have always gotten some sort of sauce to go over it as spaetzle usually does not have much flavor and dry without it.
This was our second time eating at Bavarian Bierhaus. Great place to eat a good, authentic meal before shopping. Great beer selection and great ambiance for families.
Love this place! Been there twice now and both times the food, service and people were awesome. Can't wait to go back...just wish it was closer to home :)
They made our wedding day lunch an amazing experience! This will always be our favorite place!
I lived in Germany for two years and I always look forward to jaegerschnitzel und pommes frites. Although the ambiance was wonderful, the jaegerschnitzel was not. The schnitzel was too thick and chewy. The jaeger (mushroom gravy) did have a good flavor. I don't get to each German food that much so I was truly disappointed as I was looking very forward to the experience.
Food was good but not a “wow”
Interesting place to eat German food etc but not a place I’d go much
Very fun place a must if you have not been.
Great food and service. Lots of fun! Two of us lived in Germany years ago and this really brought back memories.
Authentic German food in Nashville. Very true to the beer halls in Germany in my experience living there. If you can get Fatjon as your waiter he is fantastic and we felt like he was an adopted member of our family by the eve of dinner. We had a party of 12 for a birthday and the entire restaurant including the band made us feel like it was our party. We eat here regularly and highly recommend it.
Took my German father in law here whilst he was visiting, we all loved the food and beer!
Music was good, our waiter was great and very good with our 3 year old!
Only negative would be the grumpy person on the front desk as you walk in and the person who led us to our table. They both came across as very rude and disinterested. Not a good first impression but everything after that was great!
Best restaurant in opry mills mall! My favorite in Nashville so far!
Nice food, good ambiance. Actually loved it! Authentic German live music!!!
Very noisy, but one should expect that from a Beer House!
Very good food and had fun with friends.
It was a good time. I think our waitress could’ve been a little friendlier. I also noticed they changed their menu and the prices went up a little. That was disappointing. The band wasn’t my favorite but overall everyone at the table enjoyed themselves.
Really enjoyed having dinner here. The food was delicious!
We came here for the Valentine's Dinner for two. It was our first time coming here, and it was so fun. The ambiance and service made for a truly wonderfully memorable evening. The food was WONDERFUL! We will definitely be back!
Perfect place for a date night... the service was spectacular and the music was authentic 👍🏾
Couldn't have had a better time. We were able to get the Beef Wellington special even though the kitchen didn't anticipate serving it until later. The food, dessert, and wine were excellent. Our server was very accommodating. We were very pleased. Thanks.
Beast German Restaurant I have been to. Service was friendly and outstanding. We had dinner, liked it so much we returned the next day. Onion soup is outstanding.
Scheduled music did not start for the 35 min we waited for it.
The music was authentic. Our server was super - nice, attentive and met our every need. Very sweet.
If you like to eat fresh, clean food this is not the place for you. Chicken Schnitzel tasted like it had been frozen and the lemon cream sauce was a gelatinous tasteless goop with a fresh lemon slice on the side. The pork chop special was not eaten because it really was like a ham chop with what tasted like powdered mashed potatoes with another gelatinous brown gravy. Our appetizer was soggy fries with another gelatinous orange goop poured over. The beer was really good so my rec would be to skip all the food and just drink the beer. Service was good.
For the price we paid and the quality of food & service, I would recommend somewhere else. We had a later reservation and although the atmosphere was nice, we felt like they were rushing us to get out so they could prepare to close. We probably won't go back.
It seamed like it would be a great place to go with a group of friends when the music was on. My wife and I went on a Sunday around 5/30 pm it was almost empty and no live music on. It would have helped if the waitress new more about the food and how long it had been open. No one asked if the food was ok and we never saw a manager visiting any guest at any tables.
Apart from the Bavarian decor and piped music very little atmosphere.
While the food was okay, neither the quality nor the portions are worth the price they expect you to pay. The spaetzel was very good and we had an apple jack cocktail that was delicious. The live music was fun but it was so loud that we had to shout to be heard by the person right next to us, and we weren't near the stage or any speakers. Our server was incredible for his patience and attentiveness, since I don't imagine it being easy to work in that noise for hours. The atmosphere is really wonderful, and that's where the money being spent goes toward the experience.
We have been to the Bavarian Bier Haus several times. We always have enjoyed our visits. Lynn Marie and E3 entertained us and they are a favorite if ours. Our service was great and we will return again soon.
We are in Nashville for a small family vacation and decided some authentic German food would be a great dinner experience. The service was amazing. The food was excellent. Would definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys German food and beer.
Fun atmosphere with live music, beer hall style seating and servers in German costume. Food was delicious and reasonably authentic. Beer was the real deal, HofBrau and Spaten by the liter. Great fun and good food. Prices were high ($20 a plate) but worth the price
My lady and I were very pleased with our meal and the whole experience of this place. We asked our waitress questions about the food and she was very informative and helpful. The portions were large and the food was quite tasty. We also enjoyed the beer recommendation she shared with us. We will stop by again whenever we are in this area. Hopefully we will be able to dine later in the day when the music is playing.
Nice job replicating a little piece of Bavaria
Good selection on the menu ....nice offering of beers
Service team takes on the Bavarian hospitality role with refreshing enthusiasm....as do many of the regular patrons
Noch ein Bier, bitte?!!
Fast and friendly service, good food and an overall enjoyable experience.
Had a fabulous time Saturday night! Always have great food, great service, great beer. Andrea, our waitress was patient (we took guests that had not been there before), and really great. The music was great and the little kids were all up dancing. We had so much fun! 3rd time we've been there and would go more often but live on other side of town. Very authentic German food and Bierhaus. Kudos to owners!
Everything was good except the metal 'nut' my sister found in her food. Yes, a real metal nut that came off a bolt from somewhere?? (I can't make this stuff up) My sister is a trooper and kind of laughed it off but, it was real and still had grease on it. The waitress was excellent and called over the General Manager. I would have thought he would have given her the meal for nothing but, instead offered a free dessert (it was her birthday). The whole thing did not leave a good taste in my mouth but, I'd still go back because the rest of the experience was good. The music was great and our waitress was awesome. My food was good. We were there on 2/1/2019 from 5:30 to about 7ish.
It was my wife’s birthday and she had been wanting to to go there for sometime. I was stationed in Germany in the early 70’s and wanted to taste some memories. Food , entertainment, and libations was above reproach. The best part of our experience was our waitress. She was the best of, an overall outstanding experience.
