We hope that you also enjoy your trip to Bavaria while you join us for an authentic serving of Gemütlichkeit at the Bavarian Bierhaus.

Good representation of a Bierhaus in the US! Great Food and Great Beer! Fun Times!
Fun bavarian bierhaus. food is german food, not great but not bad. come for the experience of a Oktoberfest bierhaus atmosphere with live music and audience participation activities and German beer.
Sausage plate selected was good. Schnitzel plate was fried perfectly but meat itself was very tough and dry. Not the best German meal experience we've ever had had.
Having missed our annual pilgrimage to Milwaukee for Germanfest and not being in town for Nashville’s Octoberfest, this German couple were getting a little hard up for some Octoberfest fun. So we grabbed 6 friends and headed to The Bavarian Bierhaus on a Friday night.
Overall, it was a great experience and lots of fun. They had a good selection of bier. The food was authentic and outstanding with the exception of the sauerbraten which one of our party said was dry. We had the giant pretzel nd potato pancakes for apps,. Try the house mage mustard...awesome! My wife had the rouladen and I tried several of the sausages on a combo plate. Both were excellent. The sausages are Usinger out of Milwaukee and I think they are the best. One of our friends had the currywurst. Didn’t know such a thing exsisted but it sure was good.
The only downside of the place was the band. They were a Pink Floyd cover band that did all PF muic as polkas. Fun for a while but pretty bad overall for “the music city”. Extreamly loud! Personally, Imwould think a traditional German band would go a long way for Octoberfest.
So, Bavarian Bierhaus, we will be back for your awesome food and bier, but not on a weekend when there is a band.
The food was not real Bavarian! Sauerkraut was bland...porkchop was tough. The music by Polka Floyd was the worst I have ever heard in a German restaurant. We ate and left....probably will not return. Pricey for the quality. Music, if you call it that, was so noisy the wait person could not hear our menu selection. Impossible to have a table conversation. Extremely disappointed on our first visit.
Had so much fun!
The couple providing the music was entertaining and very musically talented. They both interacted with the crowd while on stage and off stage during a break.
They brought back fantastic memories for me from when I lived in Germany. Just too much fun!
Having live in Germany and spoken the language we were excited to find Bierhaus before our trip to the Opry (sounds odd to combine the two but it wasn’t). Great authentic Jaeger Schnitzel, great German music with some country mixed in for the tourists. We will return.
Terrific menu offering tasty recipes, unfortunately the timing was way off... Entrees where served just moments after the appetizers arrived. One member of our party of 4 was served cold food 15 minutes after the rest of the party...
Started off well, as got seated early, but got stuck at “that table”. You know, the one bsck by the kitchen, unable to see the musicians playing or really take part in the beer festival atmosphere.
Our waitress was fantastic though and took our drink orders and answered all our menu questions.
We mentioned that we needed skip appetizers as we had tickets to a show 2 hours later. Recieved our drinks quickly but then more than half hour passed before server came out w a huge pretzel, stating free, as kitchen was backed up. After another half hour or so, we got free drinks, and asked about our meals. They were finally brought out, after tables of folk arriving after us had already gotten their meals. We finally got our food and were told we were being Comped, which we appreciated. We had to gobble up our food (which was delicious) and rush to arrive at our show on time. So indigestion later....
We ARE thankful for our waitress being so sweet and nicely tipped her, but Mgt needs to improve the kitchen. And wouldve appreciated Mgt visiting us, but no sign of any. And would’ve much preferred to he celebrating the birthday at a more central table.
We ll return here at some point, to try again, but will refuse to be stuck in the far corner again. Delicious German food and music though.
It was Oktoberfest and the had a live Band, great food and great Beer.
Great food, great beer but service is not great. Went with a group of 5 had a great time and enjoyed the food but server was in a rush to take order right off the bat and once the food came he was hard to find to order drink refills ext.
Music is great and overall I love the place. But from my experience the servers I have had are not top notch.
Very fun with delicious food and beverages. Great service
Always like to try German Restrauant’s while traveling and was hasatant of this one being in a large shopping mall. Gla$ we gav3 it a try. The hostess wa# friendly, our waiter was helpful and knowledgeable. Great beer selection and many options on the menu.
Came with a group of 14. They did a good job taking care of us all. Thank you!
The seating hostess was unfriendly and uninvolved. Sat us at the worst table (almost in the kitchen )in the gargantuan hall-like place even when there were many better choices available. Once we changed tables to the bar the service was good but the food was long time coming and was cold amd tasteless. Not going back. Don't recommend.
Slightly disappointed with the apple strudel - will not order again- too soggy.
they did not have the dessert we wanted and did not have mashed potatoes - although the Spaetzle was delicious.
Service was so bad that our whole meal was comped. It was really a miserable experience.
My favorite was the pretzel pudding
Excellent beer selection I loved the mac & cheese will go there again
Had a birthday lunch with our family.
Great German beer and food. The schnitzel is huge. Sausages also great. Try the beer tasting samplers to find your favorite beer.
Great food. Trilene is a fantastic server.
Good food but too loud to enjoy the company I came with.
The condiments for the kid friendly food wasn’t kid friendly.
They should offer American basics for the less adventurous eaters.
I’m a foodie but my other family members were disappointed that there wasn’t basic mayo, mustard and ketchup to eat with their “Safe” chicken fingers and fries.
I really wanted to love this restaurant. I've been to many beerhalls in Germany and I was so hopeful that this would bring authentic German food/drink/music to Nashville. This was our second trip for dinner. The atmosphere is great, the look is very traditional German. But - the food on both of our trips was very disappointing. Spaetzel that was mushy and overcooked, kraut and red cabbage straight out of the jar, rouladen that was drowning in canned gravy, pork roast that was over half pure fat. We also got the dessert plate with a soggy thing that was supposed to be apfelstrudel, a Black Forest cake that had some kind of gooey gelatin in it, and some nasty pretzel bread pudding that was just hard lumps of yesterday's stale pretzels in a gelatinous goo. None of this food tasted authentic. Our guest of honor was our German friend and she was appalled at the quality of the food as were we. And to top it off this disgusting school cafeteria food was very expensive. Each entree was at least $19. And there was music - a duo that played accordion and guitar and sang. They were not terrible but every other tune was an old American tune. I felt like they should just stick with the German/polka tunes considering where they were. On a positive note - the beer was great! All in all, it was a $200 disappointment. We will not be back. Makes me sad.
It was worth the drive from Clarksville on a Friday night. The service was excellent and the food was good. Oompah-pah music was good. Noise level was loud, but it is a beer hall after all. We enjoyed everything about our night at the Bavarian Bierhaus. We will return! Don’t forget to try the apple strudel for dessert!
Good but very loud and with such an open room couldn’t really hear the entertainment.
I lived in Germany and the food tasted exactly as I anticipated. Fun experience!
Great food. Live music great, but too loud. Couldn't hear what anyone at our table was saying.
Our server was inattentive and kind of rude. They refused to sing happy birthday to my boyfriend, and were stingy with the sauce when asked to take some to go. the portions were large however and the music was nice
Really a fun restaurant for family and groups. Enjoyed the music and the food and the decor of the restaurant. Like being back in Munich in October.
We went for a family gathering and loved it. The food and atmosphere was great. We will definitely be going back!
Beer is awesome. Traditional German food. Flammenkuchen is one of their best offerings.
Our waitress was very nice and my husband said the beer was good. However, I found the food to be bland, and the fries were lukewarm. No band was playing the day we were there.
Authentic German food. German beers. Bierhall atmosphere. Polka band. What could be better?
Fun atmosphere and delicious food! Music was fun and you can dance if you want to. Large tables.
I had a very fatty piece of pork. The only reason I would say that I would recommend it to a friend is to try something different. I should have gone with the Saurbratten as I originally wanted to! The staff was very nice. I felt that because it is a family setting, the hostesses were revealing a bit busty for kids!!
German beer hall atmosphere, pretzel was good, bier cheese dip not so good, German beer was excellent, but a .5 l was $9.50 way above norm. My sausage plate was ok,but the sauerkraut, cuke salad lacked the normal German spices, very bland. The other three diners all echoed my sentiments. I had spoke strudel for dessert same comment very bland, no raisins,no spice.
Went here for a birthday dinner and it was great! Very reminiscent of the Beer Garden at Epcot/Disney World. We went on a Saturday night and had no trouble getting seated (we reserved on Open Table but were early and they sat us right away), there was live music that was fun and interactive with the audience, service and food were great and the desserts were delicious! The little gift shop by the registers is a lot of fun too. All the staff were very nice, the restaurant was large and busy but very clean. Really enjoyed our evening here!
Great food, great atmosphere, great everything! Authentic German food. Karen on the Accordion provided wonderful entertainment. Prices were quite reasonable with huge portions. You have to get a pretzel with mustard and beer cheese! My family and I are from Louisville, KY, but were so pleased to find this gem while on the road. If you are anywhere near Bavarian Bierhaus, make a stop! It's SO worth it!
We do not get many opportunities to enjoy German foods and biers, so we seized the moment. We enjoyed the experience.
