   Good food, excellent service. Grew up in Germany and worked in both Germany and Austria---this place nails it. Only drawback are the beer choices unless you like wheat beer (which we don't). Definitely will be going back

   We were greeted and seated promptly. The goulash soup was good, although a little salty. Jager schnitzel was tasty, but a little lite on the mushroom sauce. The spaetzle was good. There were three German Pilsner or lager on tap. We certainly would return sometime in the future (from out of town).

    The server Jada was amazing. The food was ok. The large pretzel with beer cheese and mustard was the best thing I ate. I also felt like the food is overpriced for the quality. I probably will not go back unless someone asked me too.

    My family and I finally had the opportunity to visit Bavaria this past Saturday and we had a wonderful experience! From the beer selection, the absolute quality of the food, to the outstanding quality of service we received we are putting Bavaria on our short list of places to frequent on a regular basis.     We were very excited to try the new German restaurant downtown Pensacola!! We were greeted by a nice young man and seated in the front window at a picnic (typical Oktoberfest table). German beer nice and cold in giant mugs. Sausage platter and potato pancakes were delicious as an appetizer. Entrees of Sauerbraten, roast pork and Jägerschnitzel were all very good. Good service made for a fun evening!! Only one suggestion- Needs German music!!

    I am delighted with Bavaria Pensacola. Having spent multiple years living in Germany, I know good German food. Therefore, I am delighted with what comes from this restaurant's kitchen. I had rot kraut during this last visit, and it wasn't the best. Make sure you use dry red wine and cook the cabbage long enough. Otherwise, everything was GREAT. Thank you, too, for the excellent staff--all friendly, fun, charming, and customer oriented. ~ Barbara

    The restaurant was loud. "Table" for 6 we booked was a narrow table with a bench. Very uncomfortable. Took a while to get drinks for half the table. Glasses went un filled for a good amount of time during dinner. Schnitzel (Holstein) was quite large, fried eggs were cooked well not many capers though. Bratwurst was ok. Currywurst tasted like a hot dog with curry ketchup. Not to mention it was my birthday was being treated by family, however I was paying for my son and his boyfriend. Waiter got it all wrong and I ended up paying for 4 people on my bill and all the appetizers. All in all a "meh" experience for a higher price.

    We were sat in the *ITALIAN* pizzeria in the back… not the south German restaurant for which we made reservations on our special occasion. They were out of the one German beer my husband wanted and the meal (Bratwurst) I was looking forward to. Our server was not well informed by the kitchen or other wait staff, frequently forgot items we asked for, and disappeared for periods of 20 minutes or more. We waited for our food for over one hour. The food was not bad but it was lackluster. The noise level was overwhelmingly loud, even though we sat in the back of the restaurant in the quietest part of the building. Even though other birthdays were recognized, ours was not despite being noted on the reservation. We are glad to have a German restaurant in Pensacola, but after our experience, we won’t be going back for a while.

    The decor and atmosphere were very nice. The waitlist option on the website was great. All of the employees were friendly. Our waitress was new and attentive but her voice was very soft and we could not hear her over the loudness of the bar. My husband ordered the jagerschnitzel because he enjoyed it so much when he was in Germany. I had the sausage, saurkraut and mashed potatoes. The presentation was great but unfortunately the food had no flavor. We were disappointed, especially for the cost.

    The food was great. The price was reasonable. The atmosphere was outstanding. The host was fantastic. I gave a low rating on our server, who was very nice and it seemed that he was pretty new. We just had to remind him a few times of what we needed. However, it was an overall great experience and is on our list of repeat restaurants in the area to go to.
