   This place is getting the minimum amount of stars for the way they handled a situation last night. It was crowded - the bouncer letting people in said it was more busy than usual because of large parties. While dancing, my friend bumped into a guy who then tried to dance with her. She told him sorry but she wasn't interested. That should have been the end, instead the guy comes back telling her off and saying that she danced into him and what she said was rude. Even when my friend said sorry it was an accident but she just wasn't interested, he wouldn't leave her alone. After that, we told him less politely to go away. He then proceeded to physically grab her neck to get her attention (we were trying to ignore him). We told him even less politely to really go away. He then proceeded to start arguing with us and with a guy friend of ours about the situation. When one of the security people came over, he assessed the situation (1 drunk raving guy with a bruised ego, 2 girls trying to just be on the dancefloor, and 1 guy trying to defend the girls) and decided it was the girls' fault. When I told him (calmly) that the guy had physically grabbed my friend's neck, he told me "don't overreact." Meanwhile, the guy who is arguing and yelling (the only one yelling) because he was told "sorry, no thanks" by my friend was clearly having the perfect level of rational reaction, but the girls who were telling a guy who wouldn't go away to leave were overreacting. (This guy also continued to be near our group, ranting for approximately the next hour and a half.) The truly unfortunate part (and the reason for the bad review) is that a security guard, who is supposed to make the establishment safe, condoned a man grabbing a woman aggressively, after she has already said no to him, and placed the blame on the woman. That is not a safe space for women, if when you blatantly say no to a man and he puts his hands on you, you're still overreacting and at fault when the man gets angry.

   After reading about this restaurant, we decided to try it out. We went for brunch and it was a very sad meal. Everything came out cold (if they remembered to bring it out). The food tasted like it had been made earlier in the day and was sitting out until it was ordered. It took forever to be served and the server refused to write anything down so he constantly would forget what we asked for. We were one of two tables that had patrons so we were baffled as to why it would still take forever for food to come. It took about 30 mins. One of our meals was completely wrong and we had to wait another 20 mins for the right order to come out, and it still wasn't hot. It was a shame because if the food had actually been hot, it would have been semi-amazing. The restaurant is pretty small and had a homey feel to it but there was definitely no love in the food. Would we try again? Only if the would guarantee that the food would come out on time and freshly made.

   We got a table partially shaded by the trees which was great with all the sun. food was good with large portions. I had a great beet salad with fried goats cheese.

   And literally nothing they said online was true. no unlimited mimosas. my food seemed like it was microwaved from the night before. We were the second party seated that morning and they were already "out of the pancakes." Overall poor experience.

   The food was unique. As a caribbean person I can say they absolutely put a spin on caribbean food. The corn was outstanding. Wish they had a salmon or shrimp dish thought.

   I recently went to Battery Harris for the second time. Good vibes, good food and drinks. You also can't beat the available parking in the area.

   Went for their brunch. Food was mediocre. It's basically self serve. Nice decor and space, but a lot of flies. One landed right on my food as I was eating .

   Went here with a friend on a Wednesday night, so it was pretty quiet. We seated ourselves in the outdoor area, and it took over 15 minutes for a server to come over to us. Once he came over though, he was pretty attentive (forgot a few key things like napkins and a pen for the credit card, but I think he was new). I got the jerk chicken sandwich, and it was nothing spectacular - very bleh.

   Had a great brunch here with my dad. The mimosas were amazing and I loved the bottomless brunch. Ordered the carribean breakfast and really enjoyed it.

    the staff is the best very friendly and charming but 2 orders were sold out and we only found that out 30m later and then the food took forever to come and was cold. the staff is so cool that its okkkkk but i could imagine the food could be great if fast and hot and available. they gave us a discount so that was great
