    The food was outstanding. Help was very personable. The wait for the food was long. Appetizers were not too long of a wait but main course was. It was quite loud in there. However I’ve been waiting to try Baton Rouge for quite awhile and I loved the food.

    We had a group of 6. My first choice on the menu wasn’t available. Then the food arrived for everyone else but me. Shortly after, the server noticed & asked what I had ordered. It was another 20 minutes before mine arrived. (Guess my order didn’t make it to the kitchen.) When it finally arrived it was piping hot & really good! The rest of the table ordered coffee so I wouldn’t feel so rushed to catch up. There was a small discount on my bill. Mistakes happen, but what’s important is how they are handled. I would still go back again.

    I believe our server was young and inexperienced. His level of attentiveness to our needs was low. When we ordered our appetizer I told him I did not want order my entree at the same tim and the reason being I did not want them on the table at the same time. He assured me this wouldn’t happen so we placed our order. I was right. Before we finished our apps the meal was there. An indication to me this is a McDonald establishment. Get them in and out quick. Not what we wanted. I put this back on management who train their staff. Our server came back to ask how are meal was tasting as I finished my meal. Lack of attentiveness. I was never asked if I would like a refill on my wine. Lack of attentiveness. On the positive side we ordered spinach dip which was excellent. My wife ordered the ribs which were delicious. I had the seafood linguine. It was good, not the best I’ve eaten but no complaints Overall the food was good. The service lacked. Would I return. Yes

    Excellent food and service our first time but definitely not the last!! The ribeye and the top sirloin were amazing and don’t get me started on the garlic mash
