I really wanted to like this spot. The interior is clean and pretty, but that would need to be your reason to go. The buffet isn't worth it. I ordered off the menu and got the yogurt bowl and my boyfriend got thr buffet. The cookies that came in top of the yogurt bowl were stale and the strawberries were old, bruised, and inedible. The granola was good, but the food there was not what I had hoped. My boyfriend isn't a picky eater, but none of the buffet food was worth the cost. If you're a huge cheese lover then maybe, but you'd still be better off just ordering it. I don't think I'll come back.

The food was excellent and arrived quickly, and the ambience was pleasant. However, the air conditioning wasn’t sufficient, and it felt quite warm inside. Our waitress was very friendly, but the busboys seemed disorganized—delivering dishes to the wrong people on the table even after being corrected, and bringing us a plate we hadn’t ordered. Overall, the food alone makes the visit worthwhile, but the service could use improvement, and proper cooling is essential on hot summer days. That said, I still recommend this place.

I lived 8 years in Paris and this is one of the best Parisian restaurants I have experienced. And having them in Boston is just a luxury!!

We are a regular at Batifol. The reason is simple. The food is authentic french, the menu is great an varying with seasons, the service is friendly, the wine list is amazing, and all this is reasonably priced. They have the best "Batifol" salad, the best steak frites, "boeuf bourgignon" and "blanquette de veau" . A true gem.

Batifol has had excellent food each and every time we have been - more than a half dozen now. Six of us celebrated some birthdays and anniversaries and were able to enjoy each others' company without shouting from one end of the table to the other.

We had a very nice Saturday brunch. Portions of Eggs Benedict and omelet were very generous and delicious. Oysters were delicious. I think our server had some trouble understanding us. And the coffee was not hot and absolutely horrible. This was a big surprise for such a nice place.

I came here for my mom‘s birthday dinner. We ordered the escargot, ribeye, mussels, and the duck leg. The service was rather slow, and it seemed like they were understaffed. It took a really long time for the menus and for the server to take our order. Though, when our server came, he was really lovely and provided excellent service. One thing that I didn’t love was that when our food did come, it was already cooled off.. which leads me to believe that it had been sitting there for a while and the food runner never gave it to us. The desserts were delicious though! We had the cream puffs and crème brûlée. Overall I wish the service was more efficient- it would have made the food and experience better.
