Batch New Southern Kitchen & Tap
Love this place!! Amazing drinks, food & service!!! Can’t wait to go back!!
Awesome place, waiters were attentive, ambiance was lovely, food was excellent. First time in a while I received a burger cooked the way I asked so that was the selling point for me lol
Great place. The ribs were fantastic and the sauce was quite nice. The drinks were AMAZING!
Tried Batch for the first time and will definitely eat there again - great variety of not the norm beverages and interesting food options - even for my vegetarian eater. Great service with personalized attention. Give it a try!
This place is great. We ate here three days in a row. Food is great, the service is great, they have a live DJ during brunch and it was jamming!!! Will come here every time we go to West Palm Beach
They cayenne in the frito dust on the mac and cheese make's it ineatable. Manager did make it right but server orig told us"that is while it has a disclaimer on the menu". None of the 3 of us saw a disclaimer and also, on the website menu, there is no disclaimer. But if it is that big of a deal that you have to refer to the disclaimer, maybe you should notify people when they order it. chicken was fantastic, waffles need more flavor
The food and atmosphere were great however the service wasn't. We waited a while after being sat for our server to come. When he finally took our drink orders it took a while to come back and take our food order.
Great food. Waiter knowledgeable but intimidating. Terrible mid-90s music in a too bright dining space.
This is probably my most favorite spot in West Palm. I visit at least once a week for either Happy Hour/dinner or brunch.
Food: amazing, flavorful...and for someone who does not eat meat, there is enough of a selection for me.
Drinks: TOO GOOD!!! Love the Happy Hour selections. Old Fashioned is a fave of mine, pecan whiskey shots...my friends love the gin + tonic. Bottomless brunch drink options are a go. You can't go wrong here.
Service: Usually A+. Sometimes during a bar crawl, or a high-energy brunch it can get a bit slow, but the whole staff works really, really hard to get whatever you need in a most efficient way. Plus, you're enjoying yourself so much you don't think to complain.
Love this place! Will continue to support as they deserve it.
Hi Karissa, thanks so much for the awesome review! Please check your private messages, we'd love to invite you in with our compliments as a thank you for such all your support!
Took a risk on this restaurant because we had never been there before. It was fantastic and my family and I enjoyed it thoroughly. During our visit though 5 police came in and out on black gloves and went towards the back kitchen. Honestly it was unsettling and no explanation was given upon asking both our server and manager. That doesn’t impact how amazing the food was and that is definitely something we will look forward to again however if an instance happens like that again I would encourage the restaurant to give patrons an explanation - especially when there was only a total of 10 of us in the restraint at the time.
Hi Rachelle thanks for the review! We did some investigation about reading this and the policemen were working in the area and were using the restrooms. We definitely should have been better communicating that when you asked! Sorry about that, but glad to hear you enjoyed your visit!
loved the food! a little noisy for talking
It’s a nice chill spot for many occasions.
Outstanding food and at very reasonable prices
Outstanding food, service, a very vibrant yet relaxing atmosphere
Excellent food and fun atmosphere. Definitely loud so plan to enjoy the music more than talk to the people you’re with. Will definitely be back!
The in-house drinks were amazing- the bootlegger! Waitress misunderstood my order however she comped my meal even though it wasnt a huge deal to me. The chicken pot pie was one of my choices and was so good! The ribs were delicious and the burnt ends appetizer was so yummy! We’ll be back
Outstandingly fresh food. Chicken and waffles are to die for.
This is one of the coolest new restaurants in the area! I went with friends and the drinks were all great! The homemade moonshine and fireball were definitely highlights. All of the food was amazing, especially the burnt ends appetizer and the chicken and waffles. I will be going back for sure during happy hour and to try their brunch!
I was expecting so much more, but the food just lacked flavor. Drinks were decent, and staff was great, attended to our needs, tried hard to make experience pleasurable.
It was a good night. Friendly staff. Food was great
Amazing food in a fun and friendly environment. Service was very sub par by our waiter Mitchel. Had to go to the bar to refresh my own drinks after we order bottomless mimosas and sangrias and had a time limit. His coworkers ended up helping us more than him. After he went missing for at least 45 mins and having to go to the bar to refresh our drinks ...once again & waiting on our check? We left! Maybe 10-15 mins later he realized we left and asked us to satisfy our bill. We received a call from the restaurant manager that actually had to jump in and assist us a few times, due to the lack of service from our server. I informed her of the lack luster service I received and let her know if he did his job? This wouldn’t have happened. Needless to say we paid for our food but definitely not service. I’ve been here a few times and never had a problem. Matt the bartender is awesome. I’ll only sit at the bar if I ever return.
Love this place! Great food, drinks and atmosphere.
Service excellent; however, food wasn’t great, just okay.
Father’s Day brunch with a reservation made more than a week in advance. They sat 7 adults at a table for 6 and when we asked for something bigger the RUDE hostess told us they were very busy and that’s all we could get. If you can’t accommodate a table for 7, don’t offer it. They had a LOUD DJ for Sunday brunch. Keep in mind it’s families (many with older grandfathers/fathers) and nobody could even talk. It was like a Friday night in South Beach at noon on a Sunday. One order was wrong. When it was corrected it was awful (poached eggs were completely hard boiled). My fathers meal came out 15 min after everyone else’s. My meal was luke warm. Some meals were good. Drinks were exceptionally good and our server Michael was phenomenal and pleasant and was left with nothing to do but laugh it off, which definitely lightened the disaster that our experience was. Thankfully management did right and comped my dads meal and the horrible poached eggs meal. As we were paying the check a random runner from the kitchen threw down a plate of toast to my dad that was supposed to go with his delayed meal (he was long done eating). I really wanted to love it here and so highly recommend their craft cocktail menu. But we won’t be back. (Attached is a pic of the poached egg yolks)
Hi, were terribly sorry we let you down during Father's Day brunch- please take a look at the private message we sent you so we can reach out to you. Thanks so much, The Batch Team
Very good food. Will be back soon. The biscuits were very nice and the skirt steak flavors were amazing.
I can’t get past the chicken pot pie on the menu, it’s so good. Everything else I’ve tasted has been amazing too. Great menu, great staff. Can be a little loud on the inside, if you’re going for a catch up maybe try sitting outside.
Or server Michael was great and gave us lots of good recommendations on plates to try. Good food and laid back atmosphere.
Clematis Street is an accident waiting to happen. You have to go through an obstacle course to get there. It's worth the effort. Oysters were fresh and not too big. Pecan infused Bourbon was a treat. Duck Hash is a keeper. Too bad all the great spots on Clematis are dealing with road construction. I say fire the Mayor!
Having been here in the past, I had high expectations. Today's experience was one of the worst experiences I have had in the area in a long time. When I arrived, the host was extremely rude and ignored me. She was busy talking to her friends. After waiting for her to finish a personal conversation, she finally checked me in. The restaurant was very busy and the scene looked like a great time. When she checked me in, she just walked away not saying anything. She came back and pointed at something and walked away again. Eventually I was shown my seat. I had requested a booth, but instead I was placed in a back corner. I asked the waitress if we could wait for a booth, then she walked away. Some worker came up to me, not identifying herself, and told we that they could not accommodate me. I understood it was busy. However I waited over 10 mins for a server and when the server did not come over, I left. Honestly this place has really really gone down hill. I will not be back and would not recommend it.
Amazing Brunch atmosphere. Great food and drinks.
Had great time on a Sunday. Music was awesome. The only bad part was trying to wait for the bartender to refill my drink for the bottomless mimosas.
Completely outstanding!!! Two thumbs Up for everything.. The food is amazing!! Plenty of gluten free items!!! When I set up my reservation.. They called me back in order to confirm... We had shrimp and grits!!! Delicious.. Ribs, A salad!!! Yummy!!! I really enjoyed and we needed a place like this on Clematis!!! Really tasty!!!!
The food was amazing. The food was seasoned to perfection. The staff (Waitress Charlie) was attentive, friendly, and very pleasant. Everyone should visit the Batch restaurant. I am already planning my next visit.
The bread was obviously old.. and the sandwich we ordered didn’t had any sauce or cheese -which is ok we ordered it- but It made the old bread way more noticeable. Besides that the drinks we good and dessert was amazing . But the bread it’s extremely important in any burger or sandwich, please take note of this!!! Is the main reason I wouldn’t recommend The Batch.
Hi Carla, sorry we let you down on the bread- we use Old School Bakery out of Delray, they're a craft baker and we get drops every day. We have a maximum shelf life of 2 days on our bread; we'll definitely investigate what happened. Sorry, and we hope you'll give us another shot to enjoy the bread the way it's supposed to be.
We had a good meal here. Server could've been a little more attentive, we had to call him over to refill our water/iced tea. Nice vibe. A little strange that they don't serve any hot coffee.
Really outstanding food....great recommendations from the server...we all tried something different and were all very pleased..>Chicken and Waffles lives up to the hype, the Brisket and Short Rib burger was
outstanding ....( I will get it next time ) and the Jambalya I had was the right HEAT and very tasty....after
happy hour drinks are a bit "pricey" but very tasty and unique.
Whenever I see a restaurant using farm to table meats and produce, as well as honey and herbs I always try them first. I once again was delighted with our choice. This restaurant excels in quality, well seasoned dinners. Everything they make is in house even their drinks. Highly recommend
The food was good! Went for Mother’s Day and they have all of the moms a little gift and it was very sweet.
Fun and memorable day. Food and atmosphere was good. However, they left the sliding doors open so it was very hot inside.
