Great experience. We went to experience the table side pasta wheel and was slightly disappointed to know they no longer have it. But the food was so amazing we were pleased.

My best friend and I chose to eat here based on Instagram posts and reviews. The restaurant is nice, very quaint. We were both very disappointed with the taste of our pasta dishes. We ordered the Mafalde and Agnolotti. Tried to end on a good note by ordering dessert but that was also very mid.

Overall we enjoyed our much anticipated visit. We were a little letdown to find out that the pasta cheese wheel service is no longer offered. the reason we booked such an early reservation was to ensure we were there for happy hour and that cheese wheel. The host who happened to be the GM was the one who broke that news to us and lacked empathy or seemed to care at all. Our food was really good and our server was simply amazing!

Recommended by an Atlantan friend, spacious and thoroughly enjoyable spot. perfect for friends with many offerings made to share. There were some hits and a few near-misses. Overall, I’d say solid, but not a wow. Our server, couldn’t have been more helpful and more competent. I ordered a drink a Smoky?, which sounded interesting, but to me it was one of those mixologist-gone-wild drinks. The liquorish-like aftertaste was a dreadful flavor profile with the restaurant’s Italian cuisine and in-particular it overpowered our mozzarella board tasting that we selected as one of our appetizers. meatballs were light and had good flavor but came out a bit under-heated. My first bite of the mushroom aracini made me swoon, but the richness of the mushroom sauce (and I’m a sucker for umami) dropped off almost immediately, leaving me wanting. It’s like it “left you at the altar.” Our mozzarella board was a fun “participatory food” game. I love playing with my food with others. Bastone makes their own Mozzarella. Cool! One prob. They laid down about 8-10 thin slices of country bread between the cheese selections; a good start. But the generous cold pressed olive oil and s&p soaked the bread. It both overwhelmed the texture and the flavor, interfering with the delicate flavors of the cheeses. Another near miss. We moved on to interesting entrees and as I switched to wine. I selected the duck lasagna and I’m so glad I did. Topped surprisingly with pistachios, the layers of duck & vegetables with bechamel were a wonderful pairing. I found myself slowing down to savor it all, bite by bite. The gnocchi a la vodka, good but not great. A bit too much sauce and gnocchi were a bit mushy. Other entrees were well received, but again, a bit heavy on the sauce. apple pie-ish mouse seemed homogenous and undistinguished. Don’t get me wrong, the food is still very good, the service excellent the space so comfortable, the vibe is chill and welcoming. small but good wine list. Price added up.

The charcuterie board was priced at $52, which seemed a bit excessive for mozzarella’s and Salami with a few pieces of focaccia and some olives and artichokes. However, the service and drinks were good. Unfortunately, they did not have a couple of the wines we wanted by the bottle. Overall, it was an okay experience.

Our server was very kind and knowledgeable and we enjoyed every dish we tried. There’s two things that would have made our meal easier to enjoy. We were a party of five seated at a capped 4 top. It was very difficult to fit everyones food and drinks on the table and we were quite cramped. Our reservation was at 4:45 and there were only a few other tables. I’m not sure why we were sat at such a small table. Second, I explained that four of the five of us were vegetarian and asked if the meat on our board could be on the side or substituted with cheese. What came out was a huge plate of meat and a tiny dish of cheese. Additionally the honey, artichokes and bread were all served touching the meat so nobody could eat them.

We had such a great time at Bastone! The mozzarella tasting was such a unique and delicious experience, and the pasta/mains we got were phenomenal. Service was wonderful as well! We hope to come back soon!

Our server, Matt, was excellent. I brought my out-of-towners to dinner and no one was disappointed. The meal was delicious, service was the best I’ve had in a long time as an Atlantan. Amazing experience!

So yummy! We had the gnocchi alla vodka and agnolotti for our main courses and the Brussels sprouts to start! Our waiter, john, also selected two meats and mozzarellas which were incredible!!

Super slow service, weighted about 20’min before we were asked our drink order, slow main dishes and desert. Food was ok and waitress nice enough but mediocre footed with slow service.

The service was great and I absolutely love the weight staff. However, because we ordered pasta, I would’ve expected it to come out hot. Unfortunately, it came out lukewarm and the cheese was already pretty hard and the pasta was cool. We still tried to eat most of it, but separating the pasta was a challenge. We ordered four different plates and all of them were cold.

The food and service were excellent. The di búfala cheese was amazing. We ordered the Brussels sprouts on the recommendation of our server and so glad we took her recommendation. Our server was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. The duck lasagna was superb and the squid ink calamari was good as well. The prawns were delicious. We have to go back to try the rest of the menu items!!

I had a lot of expectations for this place. The food was just not authentic. I myself having Italian in my blood I can say i have had better Italian. The ambience and service was great.

An honest (positive) review. I rate restaurants against their own peers, so if you see my give a burger joint 5 stars and this place 4 stars be aware I'm comparing it to other fine dining (i.e. pricey and chef driven) restaurants. We had a very nice experience, 45 minutes late for our reservation and no problem getting seated. Inexpensive valet parking was crowded but workable. Tables close together for a seating of two, so more of a social than an intimate setup. Great drinks, I had the caprano classico (ok, 2 of them) and my wife had some kind of grapefruit spritz. We got the large board which was loaded with many mozzarellas and meats and several accompaniments including lightly marinated artichokes, which I really enjoyed. Then we had meatballs which were amazing, and the mushroom something or other, which I enjoyed but wasn't fascinated by, didn't enjoy the tiger prawns. Never made it to the pasta or the mains due to a time crunch but had an apple fritter for dessert that was top quality with a very nice presentation as well. Our server was Margot and she was awesome. Also note you can get $50 off using the "in kind" app which was pretty cool, and seems mainly to be associated with this ownership group, I bought quite a bit of credit so I'm looking forward to trying their other restaurants.

The food was great, but the dining room could use some adjustments. Bastone has one of the most extensive selections of mozzarella I have ever seen, which makes a great foundation for a charcuterie board. The pasta is fresh and good the bite, and the halibut was plump and solid. The roasted chicken was delicious with a strong buttery flavor. Tasted more French than Italian to me. The room could use some minor adjustments. The wooden chairs were uncomfortable and slid easily across the time floor. Each of us (3) commented on the chairs. It didn't make for an elegant, comfortable dining experience.

Overall a great atmosphere and a must try if you haven't already. We sat at the bar and it was a great experience.. our server was very attentive, this may be challenging due to the drinks they are always needing to create - not in this case. I tried the eggplant, which was not my favorite but the cheese and charcuterie was ON POINT and a must try!!! They make their own Mozzarella! I will certainly return to try more of their menu... Please bring back the pasta wheel - I want to try it!

The service from the bartender (I sat at the bar) was top notch. I enjoyed his wine and cheese recommendations very much. I will probably come back 100 times just for the duck prosciutto and the wine!

Another amazing experience with friends at Bastone. The service and food are always outstanding! However, I did read a review left by a patron earlier this week that must be addressed. The customer left one star saying the menu was confusing and overpriced. I would like to agree with them if their normal Italian experience is The Tour of Italy at Olive Garden. Please don’t criticize what you don’t understand.

The quality of the food is not at the level of the pricing. The menus are misleading, and the atmosphere doesn’t live up to the pricing. We love the concept but don’t think the it will last too long.

The food was pretty good. Love that the pasta is homemade and the the Mozzarella bar! . Our server Noah was outstanding. The ricotta cheesecake was delicious! My husband and I will definitely be back!
