Bastion is the 24-seat restaurant of James Beard Foundation Award Nominee Chef Josh Habiger. It is located in a separate area within the casual cocktail bar of the same name, and it is a part of the Wedgewood Houston neighborhood of Nashville, TN. Bastion's dining room features counter seating around the kitchen for parties of 2 as well as three tables for parties of 3 to 6. Bastion's small team serves a weekly set menu of six dinner courses featuring many dishes with a wide variety of flavors, ingredients, and inspirations. Friendly service guides you through the culinary experience, which also features wine pairings, creative cocktails, and a curated vinyl soundtrack. Come early or stay late in the hidden Little Bar, which is a private offering for guests of the restaurant.

    Everything is outrageously salty. It’s extremely disappointing since Bastion has been recommended as a very popular restaurant, our experience has definitely missed the mark.

    Great experience again. Morgan prepared some amazing cocktails for us and Diana took great care of us during our dinner. Music was a little loud and made it hard to understand all explanations about the food, that was the only small issue. We will be back.

    My go to dining experience for special occasions. Love just saying “chef feed me”. Choosing a wow dish is impossible. It is all fabulous.

    Amazing experience with great hospitality. Could accommodate gluten allergy without any issues. After we ate they made room for us at the small bar and we continued a fabulous evening!

    Could not have asked for a more beautifully curated menu! From start to finish impeccable! Perfectly seasoned, thoughtfully crafted, seamlessly coursed dinner! It has taken us 7yrs of living in Nashville to finally dine at Bastion & we will definitely be back soon. Service was lovely, watching the chefs put together each plate & course with such ease was inspiring! The NA menu was delightful and the tiny wedge of birthday sunchoke and sassafras chess pie was the perfect end to a perfect night! Thank you Bastion Team!
