Basta Pasta - Fallston

Had reservations for 6:00pm on New Years Eve. Loads of people and noise. Almost lost my table because the hostess was calling names so softly and not to all of us waiting. Then we have a table for 4 and waiting for friends to arrive (parking that night was horrendous) and manager comes to our table and says at 6:01 , is your party coming because "we're really busy" I think he was going to move us to a smaller table. Server was great! But the restaurant was not prepared for the crowd and manager seemed panicked!

Absolutely wonderful experience! Dinner on a Saturday evening at Basta Pasta in Fallston was great. The seafood risotto was prepared perfectly - creamy, well seasoned and the perfect amount of seafood. My dining partner had the salmon and spinach with cream sauce over pasta and ate every bite. Service was steady and well timed. Our server was extremely pleasant and professional. Managers walked through to greet customers and asked about our meal which contributed to the positive experience. One of my favorite restaurants that never disappoints!

This was my first time visiting this location. We have previously dying in the location that was formerly located in Perry Hall and I always enjoyed ourselves there. We had a large group of 21 for a family Christmas dinner and all of the staff was very accommodating and friendly. We were well taken care of, no one had any complaints. Food was fresh and fastly prepared considering how many of us there were. Would definitely recommend coming here for another family gathering or even a small dinner with you and a loved one. You should definitely try the caramel apple Moscow Mule you will not be disappointed.

Wait staff strives to meet our every need. Have celebrated the holidays there for the last 4 years.

I was visiting from Los Angeles. I was very pleased with the friendly service and great food. You wont leave this place hungry!

Food and service was good. However the chef mixed up my pasta with another person in my party. The server asked if we wanted to have the plates corrected but we declined.

We had a wonderful experience at Basta Pasta! The food was delicious. Both my husband and I went home with plenty of leftovers. We will certainly be returning customers!

Basta Pasta was incredible! My school, Aveda Institute Maryland, had it catered for national pasta day and I fell in love. I made my family go two weeks later. The food was amazing, cheesecake outstanding! I've told everyone I know about Basta Pasta!!!

Overall very good. Maryland crab soup was undercooked and lacked flavor. Shrimp feast diavlo was spicy, good amount of shrimp and very generous portions of pasta. Lasagna looked very good as well.

Meat sauce was so think it wouldn’t stick to the spaghetti. It had more the consistency of vey chunky chili. We asked for some tomato sauce and was give a 1/4 cup amount for a bowl of spaghetti.

Our meals were delicious, and the service was great. As usual the salad and bread sticks were fabulous!

Waiter and food were both outstanding!!! Highly recommend for any occasion!!

Chose this place because it has booths and makes conversation easy! Our food was tasty and there was none left!

First time ther , Hanna our waitress was outstanding, the food was excellent!! I was VERY impressed! Totally different then other restaurants.
We will definitely be repeat customers, the only issue was I had reservations on line, we came, but I received a email stating you would appreciate next time if I was not coming to call, etc... that hit the wrong way since it was your error, I felt I was being disciplined for something wrong, and it wasn’t my fault, I did receive an apology from you, much appreciated.

Father’s Day. Just had a nice easy meal that was good. Service was exceptional

It's been years since we tried Basta Pasta and I was very disappointed in the food. My cream of crab soup was very watery. My entree was just so so and the prices were very high.

The food was good but we felt rushed. It was like sit, order, eat, then leave. Dinner was served before we finished our appetizers with no acknowledgement that the appetizer plates were still there in the way. All in all, okay.

Food and service was excellent. I was told I could bring in a cake to celebrate my daughters graduation and I wouldn’t be charged. Before the cake was served I was told there would be a twenty dollar charge to cut the cake and serve it. Which at this point could not say anything in front of my guests. Just disappointed. And never offered coffee or after dinner drinks.

Great service from Jesse, late notification of reservation for graduation group of ten. Accommodated with good seating and, of course, great service and food.

There were four of us. Did not have a great experience this time around. We frequent the restaurant quite a bit. I had veal parmagin which was way over cooked - had trouble cutting it. The other 3 meals were ok but none of the meals were up to their usual. Has the cooking staff changed?

The server was prompt and the food was good.

We were greeted at entry, very accommodating with my mother in a wheelchair, service and food were great. Only down side, and this is every time we go there, it’s very chilly. If we had a jacket to wear outside we always end up wearing it inside. Which is fine if you know ahead of time that we are going there but if we do not go there from home it’s uncomfortable sitting there and we are always in rush to leave.

It was great, as always. Everyone had a wonderful time. 😊

We went to Basta Basta on Mother’s Day and had a wonderful experience. Our meals were delicious and service was outstanding! We’ll be back again soon.

Waitress brought wrong drinks several times, wouldn’t bring an extra plate when asked, and had a very poor attitude, making it seem as if we were putting her out for asking for drink refills. In addition, we were charged a $12 “cake service fee”, when all the waitress did was bring plates and a knife! She never TOUCHED the cake!! 😡 Because there were 6 of us, she automatically added the 20% tip, which we DEFINITELY would not have given.
We’ve previously had good experiences with Basta Pasta, but won’t be coming back after this one.

Mother’s Day

It was super busy because it was Mother's Day, but we had an excellent server and the food was delicious! Seating was a bit tight, but we enjoyed the meal.

Food was delicious. Great place for a niece dinner or special occasion.

We went for Mothers Day and it was a bit overwhelming - very loud and the waitress seemed distracted with the other staff. Had to hunt her down a few times for water, rolls, check, etc. The coffee came out cold and we sent it back - took another 15 minutes to get a fresh one. I guess I shouldn't judge since it was a holiday and was chaotic but they should have stepped up their game especially for a holiday. Will not go back for a special occasion. Food was pretty good.
