For 30 years, locals have become regulars and traveling foodies have raved. What can we say? We are flattered, grateful and more than ever, determined to exceed your expectations. For this reason we recently underwent a comprehensive renovation, updating and upgrading every facet of our restaurant, from design and equipment to menu and energy. Our first time here. Apps were very good. Drinks were well made and refreshing. Our entrees were fantastic. The squid ink pasta with seafood fra Diavlo was awesome. Loved every bite! Restaurant was packed and we were seated promptly as per our reservation. Very jovial atmosphere on a Saturday night, lots of fun! Plenty of parking, service with a smile, great food, great drinks!

Food and cocktails are outstanding! Restaurant is always very busy and loud - but fun! If you want quieter - i suggest requesting outside seating. The swordfish Francais is my absolute favorite ! My husband loves the Veal Parmagiana. Everything is great!

Had a table of 12 and it was the night of that bad storm service was slow but we were all considerate due to it seemed the restaurant was short staffed and the electricity went out several times. Couldn’t order pizza since the wind messed with the pizza stove but over all drinks and food were great as always! Shout out to our server he did the best he could considering the circumstances and disclosed later a tree had fell on his car.

Time in time again we love Basta and it NEVER DISAPPOINTS. We have our friends from out of town join us for dinner. He's born and raised in Italy so we knew we had to pick an amazing restaurant. Basta was purely heaven, as it always is. The special fried zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta and prosciutto was off the charts. We also ordered the meatballs and eggplant. Our friends commented on how amazing the food was and the sauce was again one of the most tasteful we've experienced. We also got the veal parm and swordfish. and of course, topped off dinner with tiramisù and butter cake. The staff was truly amazing as they always are. Giselle our favorite was on the floor and helping out our primary server, (we just love her). Last night was a huge microburst thru Cranston, the lights went on/off 3 times and the servers just kept smiling and serving the food. Thank you all for an amazing night as always. Your always know how to bring families/friends together and make it special. See you again in a few weeks!!

The service was impeccable, the food was perfect!Although, the weather was dicey, the place was PACKED and the lights flickered- Every single person in Basta was a happy customer, and/or a true pro. Great time. Will be back soon!

We absolutely love sitting out on the patio. It is probably the nicest outdoor dining of any of the restaurants that we go to and we certainly look forward to going back again. Food was excellent excellent as was the service.
