    I thought the menu was overall limited in my opinion, especially regarding shared appetizers. However, the food was very tasty and cooked to perfection ...no complaints on food served. The restaurant was crowded and very loud as a result. I made a reservation for 8:15 PM , but had to wait a bit. The service was good while dining. The bar made tasty drinks, and she was really busy. After deserts served , the back kitchen staff rolled out 3 large garbage carts filled with bagged garbage , no lids thru the dining room . I have never seen that before in my life. Yes it was late about 10:30 PM , but then why take a late reservation and sit us even later. It just seemed in poor taste and not very clean pattern to roll garbage thru main dining area. I will not be back as a result.

    When a restaurant is crowded at 5:30 PM, you probably know it’s pretty good. Despite the early dinner time we enjoyed a great dinner. The wait staff was professional and attentive. The food was outstanding. I can tell it will be hard to get reservations at this place going forward.

    Food was well delicious/ tthank you Peter Kelly! Service was good. Acoustics were lacking and it was difficult to have a conversation.

    Every dish we ordered was excellent. Shrimp scampi in particular is best I've had. Service is very attentive even though restaurant was crowded. Recommend highly.

    Everything you want from Peter Kelly in a more intimate space. The menu is characteristically diverse and the preparation is flawless. And, as compared with so many restaurants that trot out uninspired sweets, the desserts are inspired and a must. My only qualm is the noise level, which may have been because we were sandwiched between 2 large groups.

    We are so happy to have Basso in our town. Peter Kelly and his staff are amazing. The service, the friendly atmosphere, and the terrific food keep us coming back. The calamari and zucchini app is generous and perfectly cooked. My favorite pasta is linguine with white clams. It’s a simple dish but very hard to get right. They do it ! It’s always busy so be sure to make reservations.
