Bass Bay Brewhouse
I had the Salmon with polenta and broccolini.
Everything was cooked perfectly and served hot. My friend had the cauliflower steak with vegetables and added shrimp. She loved it. The downside is the high noise level. We had to shout across the table to have a conversation.
The service was excellent, food was very good. Cocktail was remade without issue.
Didn’t appreciate the table that left me hanging out in a doorway. It was crowded and very loud.
A overall nice dinner but I wouldn’t want to go for a romantic date night.
Great atmosphere with amazing food.
Took family from Arizona ( who really miss a good fish fry) on a Friday night. It was busy as always but we had reservations and were seated immediately. The cod oscar was great as was the regular fish fry, and service was prompt and pleasant. Always one of our favorite places!
Great food as always, but a little disappointed because I had called about setting up decorations at our table which we had reserved, but they reported our table wasn’t ready and the surprise guests and decorations were just waiting around up front so it ruined the surprise for my sisters birthday.
Everything was great except it is a little to dark in there and I wish it was open longer. We had reservation at 8 and they closed at 10pm
Have been to Bass Bay 3 times and all 3 visits were fabulous. It gives you a kind of on vacation up north vibe. Food is so good and drinks a great as well. Servers are always very friendly and personable.
We had a 7pm reservation on NYE and were seated right away. Unfortunately they were already out of Prime Rib which seems like poor planning. One of the people in our party had a gnat/fruit fly in her drink. The server was notified and apologized but nothing else was done to remedy the situation. They threw the bottle away and had no more so the drink could not be remade either. It should have been taken off the bill. Other then that, though, we really enjoyed the ambience and food was good. Oysters were very small tho and overpriced.
We had guests in from out of town. I made reservations online. It was quick and easy and it went off without a hitch. The food was great and our server was outstanding. Also my favorite place for brunch!
Nice place, the interior is a bit rustic with a great view of the lake, I should come back in the summer to enjoy that. The food was excellent, chicken fried chicken was crispy, the steak perfectly done. Their old fashioned could use a little work however. For the beer lover, every tap beer was a made in Wisconsin craft brew.
Best time ever there. Staff amazing! Food is great too.
In summer the outdoor patio is fantastic. In December, we sat by the fireplace and it was warm and cozy. The food was delis...Our family from Colorado thought it was a great place to eat. Enjoyed the Lakefront Brewery beers on tap as well.
We’ve been to Bass Bay Brewhouse many times & have always enjoyed. We brought friends from out of state who also enjoyed.
They have a good variety of food on the menu & a great selection of beer.
Food is always good & the service also.
We will return often.
We always enjoy our time at Bass Bay, great food and awesome service!
Really good service and the fireplace on a cold evening made for a nice atmosphere in a rustic setting.
Food was excellent. We do have to eat gluten-free and when they brought out our courses it was obvious that the bread included was not gluten-free therefore they remade the meal for us very promptly.
The host was very friendly. He made us feel very comfortable. The waitress was attentive.
Great food, service. 1st time here and wold return.
Great service, one of our favorite restaurants
Everything was awesome! Great variety of menu items and prices.
Good food good service drinks a little pricey
What an awesome place for brunch, lunch, or dinner (weddings and banquets too). Great food. Service above and beyond. Lake Views. You need to get the Cheese curds and to save room for any of the desserts served in mason jars
We went for a birthday. We ordered brunch, my husband & I had eggs Benedict, they were cold. Another person in our party had to ask 3 times to get syrup for the French toast. The waitress just didn’t seem interested in whether our food was good or not. We’ve been here before & gotten good service & great food. Hopefully next time will be better?
Always great food in a very lively atmosphere. Our family normally attends this restaurant on Saturday nights after our church worship to talk and have fellowship together.
Lovey dinner with terrific service!
Great meal!! Was able to watch baseball game and have a great conversation as well with good food. Veggie pasta was outstanding.
Great service and handled the Homecoming Crowd well. I thought that the Homecoming dates and groups got in and out. They were prepared for this event.
I had the prime rib special and it has been years since I have gone to a restaurant and enjoyed food as much as I did last Saturday. All I could keep saying to my husband is wow this is sooo good!!! My husband had the pot roast which he really enjoyed as well. We shared a strawberry shortcake desert in a mason jar which was also very yummy.
The prime rib was fantastic! The scenery was amazing.
Great job, great location, great view of the lake, absolutely best waiter-Darren! We come at least once a week
We were able to eat outside. It was not overly noisy , the food was excellent and the weather was perfect.
We crave the food at Bass Bay. They do a great job. We went for our Anniversary, and felt we got special treatment. They do things right!
My husband ordered the daily special of beef stroganoff when it came to our table I was shocked as to what they served spaghetti noodle tubular spaghetti noodles with meat over it no mushrooms no gravy no onions no nothing no garnish no presentation this is the second time I've had a bad experience at this restaurant I will never go there again and I've told my neighbors about it
Our food and service was great, as usual. My only complaint was the noise level, which they tried to mitigate with padding on the ceiling. I wish I would have asked to sit outside when I made the reseration, because it was much more peaceful there overlooking the bay on a beautiful evening!
We took relatives from out of town for dinner and they were very impressed with the food and service- as it always is
Without a reservation, this place would not have been worth the wait on a Friday night. The food was fair, but nothing outstanding. The high tables and booths make it hard to accommodate small children. The best thing about this place is the waterfront, and if we were just coming to sit with a drink outside, it would be a great spot.
My birthday (:
All 9 diners enjoyed their meals!!! The homemade sangria was great! Our group would highly recommend the 'Chicken Fried Chicken'. Even the fries were good! It was very, very loud in the lower dining room-you could not converse with those down the table without yelling. We had a great view of the lake.
We tried this place when it first opened and had a horrible meal. But the view is so spectacular that we decided to try again. Good parts - very good salad and scallops. Bad parts - very fatty prime rib with no taste and very chewy, salad was $4 extra, beer was flat. Hard to find. Use GPS and have someone navigate for you. Very noisy.
We dined on a busy Saturday night. The food was average to good, mainly because my chicken was great and my husbands scallops were done well, but the risotto and the side vegetable had been under heating lamps way too long. The waitress claimed they were down to two cooks and there was a wedding going on on the upstairs banquet area. Our food took about 45 minutes to get and the poor waitress seemed overwhelmed! Seems that better Saturday night planning should be done. Loved the outdoor space, overlooking Bass Bay.
