we love bass bay and normally always enjoy the experience. it was just unfortunate and maybe she was new our waitress didn’t know much when we asked fairly basic questions and having to go ask is fine, however she seemed annoyed by having to go ask “if you want me too i will” when if we’re asking it’s to me obvious we would like to know. we went over the summer i had a impossible burger on multiple occasions then she said that never existed. i at that point because we had asked a couple other questions just got a salad because i could tell she was annoyed. We didn’t mind she needed help but she sure seemed too. Normally we would recommend but this time and last time our wait staff was just rude and unfriendly which is too bad because we used to always recommended coming here.

We sat outside and it started to rain and they quickly escorted us inside and had tables ready and waiting. Jessika is a great server and took care of all of our needs. The food was amazing as usual.

Nice bar type restaurant. Food is above average for this type of casual dining. Price is also a little higher. They often cannot accommodate a reservation between 6 & 8 PM, especially on Friday and Saturday. If you walk in, the wait is usually to long to stay. This can be annoying. Very nice setting on the lake. Much more enjoyable (and crowded) in the Summer.

You can blame the lackluster review on "the pandemic," but Bass Bay needs to scale back on tables with the availability of staff. Overall an "eh time," here, but probably won't come back. Food was "eh." The Friday Night Fish Fry was a disappointment. It had the taste and texture of "freezer to fryer" with the claim of hand-dipped beer batter. (I didn't taste any beer.) Cole slaw had the flavor of cabbage and cardboard (in a lil' tiny plastic cup.) Potato pancakes, much the same. Service "eh." Our waitress was nice, but it was apparent over worked (too many tables in too many areas). The ambiance was chaotic at best. In the several areas of dining crying kids, a wedding rehearsal (members of the party were vocally upset the Brewers game was not on the TV. Catch... they were yelling and complaining over our shoulders from an open window.) When I asked a bartender to change the channel he was bothered that I would ask. As it sounded like there were more important things to do. The lake location was nice, but flies were inside. Probably won't come back.

Great view of the lake with large outdoor patio and plenty of seating. Many patio heaters and a fireplace to keep you warm on a cool evening. Variety of food to choose from and the food was delicious although the salmon and scallops were over cooked. Accommodated requestc to switch vegetables. Took a while for the main course to arrive and waitress did not update on the status/wait time. Service overall was good and prices fair. Definitely would go back.

First time at Bass Bay. Sat outside to enjoy the views of the bay seeing that the weather was fantastic. Service was very good. The drinks and the food, prime rib and fish fry, were excellent. Drink and food prices were very much in line with comparable establishments. We will definately return in the future.

We had a great dining experience! We had celebrated my mothers birthday and enjoyed a beautiful outdoor dining experience. Food was excellent as was the ambience. Our waitress was very attentive and offered excellent feedback on the best dishes and drinks. We plan on coming here again and again.

the location is very nice. the disappointment came when the entree's were brought to the table. three rib eye steaks were ordered they were not impressive in any way (tough ,worst steak s we have had) and pricey $108.00 ) and the complimentary birthday ice cream sundae (was $5.00 ) did not want to make a fuss since we were celebrating a 92nd birthday. May be back for the atmosphere, but certainly not for the steak. Sorry

We arrived a bit early and had to reduce our original count. They were very receptive and accommodating. They were super busy on a Friday night; however, we were seated right at our reservation time. Great service response, good drinks, excellent food. Next time we will try the outdoor seating and a bit earlier than 8p to see the excellent views of the lake.

Even though the reservation said that outdoor dining needed to be requested by a phone call directly to Bass Bay and we did not make that call, we were given a beautiful table overlooking the lake for our Sunday brunch. What a wonderful surprise! Our waitress, Ashley Rose was delightful and we enjoyed her service. The spicy pickle Bloody Marys were tasty and our entrees delicious. Every time I visit Bass Bay the restaurant lives up to its reputation and does not disappoint.

We had such a magical evening on the lake at Bass Bay. Local craft beers, fish fry and steak entrees on an expanse if lawn and patios and gazebos overlooking the water? It’s the ultimate Wisconsin experience and an opportunity to say goodbye to the last days of summer and welcome fall.

WE THREE LADIES GOT THERE EARLY AND SAT ON ENCLOSED PATIO AREA. SERVICE AND FOOD EXCELLENT BUT BY THE TIME WE LEFT (6 P.M.) NOISE LEVEL WAS AT THE SHOUTING TO BE HEARD STAGE. IF IT HAD BEEN LESS WINDY WE WOULD HAVE SAT OUTSIDE AND HOPE TO DO SO NEXT TIME.

We love this restaurant, but unfortunately too many diners were allowed for 6 servers working. We waited well past our reservation for a table and then our server was overwhelmed, service was slow. We’ve never had this experience here. Shout out to Stevie who identified we had a long wait for food and jumped in to help. He was positive, apologetic and really cared about what was going on
