Amazing food and service!

Best meal ever! Table decorated in foil hearts and rose petals! Excellent 4 course dinner beginning with Kir Royale cocktail and topped off with a dessert sampler and expresso martini! Felt like we were on a cruise ship! Wishful thinking!

Basile is the kind of restaurant you think is going to be nice, and then it’s kind of tacky. Food was solid - we came for the Valentine’s Day prefix and had no issues with the food (It was definitely a lot of food too) But service staff was unorganized and poorly trained. We had an early dinner slot and they didn’t even look like they were open or ready for service. They shouldn’t have offered our slot as a seating if it was going to look like that. Just kind of a let down honestly.

Very good fine dining restaurant. Service was great, food was delicious. Menu has a lot of different options. Great place for a special occasion or date night.

Dinner was delicious but I dont Recommend going with a very empty stomach. The bang for your buck is nonexistent but for the food we did have, it was delish. I went For my birthday and got a free creme brûlée which was very good

They decorated the table for my girlfriends birthday, which was greatly appreciated. The food was amazing and our server was top notch. Couldn’t have asked for a better night

Great food great service great atmosphere

The restaurant advertises gluten free however no GF bread available... The pasta at 30$ do not look or taste homemade. The gnocchi GF are a shame for Italian people. The crabmeat ravioli are definitely industrial and the shrimps are not fresh.
For the price it is not worth it. The glass of wine at 12$ is scientifically measured and ends up being half a glass. It gives a cheap image.

The food was remarkable. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Dishes were complex, presented beautifully, and simply delicious.

The server rushed me and seemed out of sorts. She was the only bad part of the experience. It doesn’t take much to be genuinely friendly.

The tiramisu, by the way, was the best I’ve ever had. Don’t leave without having it.

Basile was fantastic from the service to the food. If you want to try something different, I would suggest the 5 Course Chef's choice meal. It was a perfect amount of food.

Beautiful, classy, elegant, European décor. Our first impression coming in was "Wow, let's come back here a lot!" Some mistakes with the food, slow inattentive service. Our last impression was "Maybe we'll come back sometime."

We went for our anniversary, they left real rose petals on the table upon our arrival and a free dessert to celebrate. The staff was incredibly helpful and worked as a team. The food is delightful the environment is romantic and unbeatable. I have never felt so pleased at a dining experience. Highly recommend for couples and families.

I would encourage anyone who wants a great dinner to try this restaurant. The food was great as was the service. The staff couldn't have been nicer. There was plenty of room between tables and we both felt very comfortable. Would return in the future.

Tried the pre-fixe Thanksgiving dinner and we were very impressed with the food, ambiance and service, especially on a holiday during unprecedented times. We choose the 3 course Sampler Special. Antipasti sampler had four appetizers. We selected three different pastas for Pastas Sampler and the best was the dessert platter. Our server suggested the Wine Flight (sampler) to go with the dinner. It was simply great. We have never seen such unique concept of sampler dinner. Got to try different variety of appetizers, pastas, desserts and wines. Very smart and creative. Loved it. We will be back for more.

Lovely restaurant specially for outdoor patio dinner. It was a warm day in Boston and had a good Italian dinner with great cocktails. If you like a unique and authentic Italian experience than go to Basile or go to usual corporate owned boring restaurants. We will be back.

We had a nice quiet dinner on the patio on a weeknight. The restaurant is located in a quieter part of downtown Boston on Columbus Street. The service was professional and the food was very good. The cocktails were pretty good also.

Service was very good. We started with the calsmari and can understand why it's a cutomer fsboritr and popular with cutomers, as noted on their menu. my husbnd had the chivken parm which wan't anything speial. my chiken piccatta was very good. th dessert sampler was ec=xcelent,It had the chocolate souffle which was amazing and a really yummr apple pastry. Highly recommend the desserts! We sat oustide and it was verypleasznt. Tabkes were comfotably spaced aprt and the restsursnt was observing vovid guielines (9masks, gloves etc) Overall solid experience.

the service was so bad, we were never checked on. We asked multiple times for water and never got it. When sides were asked to be substituted, they just weren’t and then were going to give it after we were done eating. There were so many people waiting on our table that the miscommunication between the staff hindered on my experience.
