Good food and atmosphere. Staff seemed to rush us out before we finished our meal. That left a bad impression for us.
We went to this restaurant for our anniversary. Unfortunately, The ambience was not as romantic as I expected. There was no romantic music, but a lot of noise from the other guests. The food however was good and the waiter catered to most of our our needs really well.
During these covid times, they did not even offer us any sanitary napkins after dinner! I was quite surprised by that.
Nice restaurant. Service was good. Food was average. Probably would o go back.
Honestly shockingly not good chicken Parm , apps were great
Terrific food, and lovely outside dining. Our dinner was wonderful! Second time, and we thoroughly enjoyed.
Great Italian restaurant. Special handwritten welcome notes gives that personal touch to the dining experience. Good restaurant for those special moments.
The best Bolognese in Boston. Appetizer and Dessert Platters are simply great. Loved our dining experience at Basile. Will be back soon...
We love going to Basile. It's good to see a restaurant like Basile survived COVID and is now getting busy again. We support it 100%.
We had the Masala Ravioli and it was the best fusion dish we ever had. Great restaurant with good food and ambience.
Nice boutique restaurant with authentic Italian dishes. Nice variety of pastas. Crabmeat Ravioli was the best. Highly recommended !!
All was good except service. Need to train employees.
The kitchen had a difficult time keeping up. Our wait from our apps to the main course was over an hour and fifteen minutes.
Loved this restaurant. everything was great - food, service and the playlist. Good Italian experience.
Service and food were amazing!!!!
Wonderful food, nice quiet atmosphere, helpful friendly staff.
Consistently great atmosphere, service, and food. I had the Bolognese and it was delicious.
It was great. Got the scallops, lobster risotto, lamb chops all amazing! Great flavor. We also ordered the bacon wrapped figs and the have a Gorgonzola cheese inside. We’re not fans of Gorgonzola cheese or else they would have been great! Highly recommend this place
It was very refreshing to dine at this boutique restaurant in the middle of all these corporate outfits. Great food and staff. They have nice selection of seasonal appetizers and drinks. If have not been to BASILE, you must check this place out.
Loved our experience at Basile. They have great selection of Basile signature wines from Tuscany. Basile Ad Agio, super Tuscan red wine, is our favorite. We also had their signature appetizer - Basile Scallops and signature pasta - Basile Crabmeat Ravioli. Both the very best. Great selection of reasonably priced authentic Italian food. We will be back with friends.
We did the chef's tasting menu and it was phenomenal!
The general manager and staff were amazing and extremely accommodating. Would definitely recommend!
There was a large party that took over half of the restaurant with nothing but a sheer curtain separating them from the rest of the restaurant. They were rather loud and we’re playing some music rather loud, so it was a big negative on our dining experience as it was hard to even talk at our table.
Elegant Chic, great music, excellent food, and superb service. This place is great!
Good dining experience, I can see the potential once the COVID pandemic shortages are recovered with better service and consistent food quality- Most of the meals were excellent, and our main server was very friendly. would return eventually
Overall great Italian experience. Food, wines, service and music, all catered to feel all Italian. We had their signature dish - BASILE SCALLOPS - simply perfect. Must visit. We will be back soon.
Hidden gem in Boston for fine Italian dinner. Must check out!!
Great place for Italian food. No need to go to North End.
The food was…good. Seafood was overcooked, but the flavor was exceptionally delicious. Appetizers were just ok.
One of the great restaurants for a romantic date. Our table was decorated with rose petals. Food and wine were excellent. Staff was happy and there was lot of positive energy around. Had a great romantic evening. Thank you Basile!
Great for after work drinks and dinner. Great cocktails and plenty of seasonal dishes made from Figs, Corn, Seafood etc. Our cocktail 'Fig Blessings' had fresh fig garnish. Great job. We will be back.
Loved our dining experience at BASILE. We will recommend to all our friends.
Inexperienced wait staff; bartender using inappropriate glassware; food highly salted.
Matteo was amazing
Calamari was crispy, tasty. Very good remoulade to accompany.
The lobster mussels entree was bland, not much flavor
The carbonara was delicate, flavorful with buttery noodles
The service was slow. Waited 45 minutes for main course to arrive.
The service was truly excellent - attentive and quick but not overbearing. Cocktails very good, I didn’t love the wine but I should have chosen differently. Food was great.
They need to remove “Fine Dining” from their name. There is nothing Fine about fining here. The good is mediocre American Italian food without any resemblance to fine Italian dining. They served a Carbonara and left the plastic wrapping on the pancetta before they diced it. Every piece of pancetta had its plastic wrapping still on, not a pleasant taste or experience. But at least to make it right they.... oh they didn’t do a thing. No discount, no removal from the bill, no comp’d dessert.. nothing.
Noise level is marked loud because there were very loud patrons that were never addressed by the restaurant.
Overall very good. Service was spotty. Appetizers were just ok. Main pasta and steak were very good.
Best overall restaurant experience in Boston!
