   we always try to eat at Basi when we are in Columbus. It never disappoints. Varied menu, good wine list, friendly service. This time it was a mild evening in November and we ate on the patio. A lovely evening!

   Always yummy and lovely. They seem to be letting up on wait staff training though. Our waitress knew nothing about ingredients, preparation, sources or wine. At least she was dressed and groomed appropriately. The other waitress was wearing jeans and a crummy t-shirt hanging out and had long uncombed hair hanging all over. It was a Saturday night.

   Food is top notch with great prices! Definitely one of the best in the city if you want to dine outdoors on a beautiful evening. Indoor seating area is quite small so I am not certain about how that experience would be.

   My favorite restaurant in Columbus for it's ambiance, vibrant without being too noisy, and the lack of TVs, oh and of course the fantastic food.

   The restaurant is in an old house. Quite noisy inside, but out back there is outside dining, much quieter. Food is excellent, chicken slices over linguine with pesto sauce. They actually had pesto unlike some restaurants.

    Always our favorite place to go in the neighborhood and our recent visit did not disappoint. Fabulous time and terrific meal. Johnny the owner stopped by our table and filled us in on all the specialty dishes. So good!!
