Brilliant restaurant — warm, authentic, and full of character A friend recommended Baserri and it genuinely didn’t disappoint. The place is small, intimate, and beautifully decorated, with just the right level of noise — enough atmosphere to feel alive, but not so loud you can’t talk. It had real soul. The service was exceptional. The two young women who looked after us, along with (I think) the owner, were so warm, professional, and sincere something a lot of restaurants miss these days. Every member of staff was lovely. Food-wise, I had the octopus to start and the pork for main both were spot on. Full of flavour, cooked perfectly, and felt truly authentic. I spend a lot of time in Spain, so I don’t say that lightly. They even brought my dessert with a candle for my birthday, which was a lovely touch. Honestly, just a great experience from start to finish. Can’t recommend it enough.

An excellent meal Baserri, I would highly recommend. Food - we had the tasting menu which was outstanding. Each dish was absolutely delicious, carefully balanced with great flavours and beautifully presented. My favourites were the basque cheesecake, the croquettes and the smoked sardine fillets. The bread is also worth a mention too - it had a good flavour, crunchy crust and soft in the middle. Ambience - the restaurant is beautifully decorated. Service - all staff were knowledgeable about the food, attentive and friendly. This was the first time going to Baserri and I am planning to go back soon! Thank you!

As good as always. Going to Baserri is a treat every single time, we just think it is the best restaurant in Leamington by far. Real Spanish food ( we are Spanish) both cooked with delicacy and expertise. Impecable service, super fresh ingredients, great wines and beautiful decor.

A wonderful evening with friends. We shared cantabrian sea pickled and salted anchovies. Spinach, goats cheese & honey croquettes, tortilla with cod and spinach and Carabineros prawns, all divine. We chose Pasion De Bobal Rose, a beautiful light summer Rose. The desserts as always a lovely way to finish, Panchineta & Hot Chocolate and Brioche Bread & Butter Pudding. Thanks to the kitchen and front of house team for another memorable visit S x

Booked for my fiancée's birthday having looked through the window a few times. We sat by the door with only a few other tables booked at 2045. The staff wished my fiancée a happy birthday and started us off with a delicious alcohol free sangria. Our server talked us through the dishes of the day, and gave us some recommendations. We tried the croquettes, the seafood rice dish of the day, the iberico pork and a monkfish dish of the day, wrapping up with basque cheesecake and pachineta. All the dishes were perfectly presented and tasted delicious. Of note was the bisque served with the monkfish and the basque cheesecake. Would visit again!
