Good menu and great cocktails and wine! Nice ambiance and lighting.
Second time I have been here. We came in for a date night. The wine and drink selection is really good!
The menu is limited and depending on the day you go there are different specials. I had the roast beef sandwich and it was amazing. My husband had a prime rib and it was cooked perfect! We did get wedge salad appetizers and it was a little strange because for the price it was just a wedge of salad dressing bacon and a few tomatoes just three ingredients it was a little plain especially compared to other cheaper restaurants?… but the view from the top was amazing we got to see the sunset you can go in the elevator and take your glass of wine to the top of the burg it’s beautiful!!!!
Basalt is always such a treat to go to. The food is amazing and changes seasonally which is fun. If you see the smoked trout potato salad, order it…its amazing. The ambiance is wonderful and it is a beautiful spot.
Food is superb! Service is excellent! Ambiance could use a little help.....lower the bright lights, put candles on tables....a little more work on the environment would motivate me to go here more often....a bit too cafeteria like for me. Food is too good to serve it in a less than perfect environment.

Steak with the special almond and blue cheese dressing and the rack of lamb are superb as is the house salad and desserts.
Food is good and the atmosphere/decor is very nice. Menu variety isn’t extensive but varied enough that most people should find something the like.
Great addition to Ellensburg eats. Food was very good and fair portions. They bring out the dessert tray after dinner, making it impossible to say no!
I really enjoyed everything about our visit. Food was amazing. I do feel bad because the tip we left on our receipt never got charged to our card. I guess we had to sign in to places for this to happen which we have never run across. I wish our server would have pointed this out to us.
Very nice, very reasonably priced upscale restaurant in a hotel. Good variety of entrees and excellent desserts. Cocktails were good as well!
A special night out with a good friend. You can’t go wrong with any of the halibut dishes.

The drinks and starters were unbelievably good. Really solid, attentive but not intrusive service. I'll be back for sure!
