                                        We were so excited to try this spot based on the reviews. Sadly it left a lot to be desired. The food while nicely presented lacked flavor. Service was stiff. With other great options nearby we won’t be back here.

                                        Bas Rouge delivered its usual and expected excellence. The food was playful without being supercilious, and of unmatched flavor. The service was outstanding in its graciousness with a wonderful touch of friendliness overlaying the professionalism.

                                        Probably best restaurant on the Eastern shore! Elegant and well prepared food; consistently excellent. We happily drive 1hr and 20 minutes to eat here and are never disappointed. Fit for foodies. Very classy and romantic place

                                        This is my favorite restaurant in the St. Michaels/Easton area. The courses are inventive, cocktails are classic, service is flawless. I had the foie gras ganache with rhubarb, branzino, and a pear/yuzu dessert. All delicious, and the chef bakes some delicious breads.
