Our friends, my husband and I frequented this restaurant a couple of years ago. We came back with another friend this year. We had to take him here. It’s a great family owned and run restaurant. We were treated like old friends. The food was so delicious! Our friend was very happy and impressed. We recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to Milan.

Hello Martin, we don’t know what you didn’t appreciate about the service, usually we are very kind and welcoming with our costumers . About the food can appened that you didn’t like it, we are a tradizionale cuisine from Piacenza and we don’t have a turistic menu

I wish I had more time in Milan just to dine at this restaurant. The staff was amazing, attentive without being too overbearing, the food was PHENOMENAL (I just wish my stomach was bigger!), and the wine was divine. I will 100% go back if I’m in Milan again. It is a smaller restaurant so recommend a reservation

Un vero angolo di Piacenza nel cuore di Milano! Barzac Tradizioni Piacentine è un ristorante a conduzione familiare che trasmette calore, passione e autenticità fin dal primo momento. Il servizio è semplicemente meraviglioso: attento, cordiale e genuinamente appassionato. I piatti sono incredibili, preparati con una cura che si sente a ogni assaggio. Da piacentino, posso dire con certezza che la qualità della materia prima è strepitosa e i sapori sono autentici, proprio come quelli di casa. Un’esperienza culinaria che consiglio a chiunque voglia conoscere la vera cucina piacentina. Tornerò sicuramente!

We found this gem of a restaurant in an area with many worthy contenders. While casual in appearance, this restaurant has a most interesting menu with creative options (ie: parpadelle stuffed with potato and tarragon, with grana padano fondue, hazelnut pesto and sausage. ...and I didn't even know that you could stuff parpadelle!). This dish, along with all the other ones that we ordered, were as delicious as they were unique. Staff were warm and welcoming, with a special thanks to our waiter (Ricardo) who exemplified this family's commitment to excellence. This is an establishment worth searching for but, if you are in the immediate area, it certainly should not to be missed.

A true find. This small family owned and run restaurant offers carefully prepared artisanal dishes (try the risotto for two) and a wonderful wait staff who offer suggestions. Don’t let the checkered tablecloths fool you , Barzac is so good, we ate there two nights in a row. Watch the cooks at work: perfection. It’s modern , lively, and memorable.
